Arguably the greatest "cowboy" singer of them all who sang the best "western" album ever produced (Hell-bent for Leather) and somehow he has not been elected to the Country Music Hall of Fame.

Mainly because he never identified as a country singer though he could sing country songs better than most country singers.

I agree! I love "Hell Bent For Leather". I think it is the very best Country and Western album I have ever heard.

OMG did he say Marty Robbins wrote Hey Good Lookn' for him. Hank Williams wrote Hey Good Lookn' actually fro Little Jimmy Dickens and decided it was so good he recorded it himself. I love Frankies music but he doesn't belong in the CMHOF.

Frankie must have been thinking of You Gave Me a Mountain which was written by Marty Robbins.

No he didn't same Marty Robbins wrote "Heg Good Looking." He said Marty wrote "You Gave Me a Mountain" for him. Looks like someone did a poor splice job on this video.
