    Frankie and his wife were so nice to invite me to their home in point loma to do this video. i think of him often how nice he was to me.

    I wish his civil rights activism was discussed more. Was there on the march on Washington, did all he could to spotlight black performers on TV in the decade before, spoke out publicly in favor of integration for years. He gave a number older Americans permission to support in a way

    Wow! everyone thought he was Black....Wow! 1946 with the the song 'my desire' ....1953..wow bigger than the Beatles..whew! thanks for this historical video. just saying.
