God. She was SO BEAUTIFUL!!
RIP Valerie.... Died August 2019 :(
Can’t believe how open and personal Valerie is in worldwide TV . Can you imagine MTM being asked such questions / she’d stare at you like you didn’t ask her any thing yet . Lol
😂😂😂
When you get to the end of your life do you want to say, "I wasn't happy but I stayed married because that's what was expected" or do you say, "I only have one life, why stay in a marriage I'm not happy in anymore?" I'd go for the latter every time.
amen
Love this, thanks!
You would never today see a talk show host defend the virtues of marriage like this. Now it's just instant, no-fault, no-questions-asked divorce.
Times have really changed for the worst. Social morality no longer exist in humanity in 2018.
dm9542 Wow, you hit the nail on the head with that statement!!!! We live in a morally corrupt society.
Maybe one of the first Conscious Uncoupling! What an amazing soul!
I love her!!
RIP My boyhood crush.
Was up with the dress code back than. Nice touch I can vibe 😁. 13 and 17 ha
Her husband was nuts to let her get away, LOL
Back when talk shows were decent and worth watching.......
@Jarod Carnarvon Check out Johnny Carson's 1975 interview with Ronald Reagan. Still available on YT.
What she was saying made total sense, but the interviewer just wasn't getting it.
Marriage is a gift from God, he absolutely got it.
Her Brooklyn accent isn't as strong here as it is in so many of her TV shows. Maybe it was nothing more than a theatrical affectation.
she said she adopted that accent and based it off a good friend and that in combo with her stepmom....
Uhh, it's called... acting!
She was raised Catholic in Southern California.
