Laine's record album with the cowboy songs was one of the very few albums my sister and I had when we were very young. I remember our little record player in the basement spinning that album over and over. Now, more than 54 years later, I can again enjoy those songs and other songs he sang courtesy of the internet. I had no idea he had such a career. I wish I still had that album.
