    Thank you! You gave the best instructions on how to clear this problem. I used a Gallo Drain Gun to blow out the lines. It uses CO2 cartridges. I blew out the drain hose and used it on the fill hose. I think the drain hose alone was sufficient enough to solve the problem. I never could get the collar on the inside of the tub to loosen. The hardest part of this was getting back up off of the floor.

    Found this video after receiving an auto and heavy blinking light error on my Samsung Dishwasher. Followed instructions and I blew through the hose furthest to the right and it felt like I cleared an obstruction. Also blew through the hose to the far left. Reattached everything and after plugging in, now I'm getting a blinking Heavy button only, and pump turns on to empty the dishwasher. After doing research I found that it is a leak sensor error, or damp sensor error.
    Has anyone solved the Heavy light blinking error? Thanks!
    Update: found out that when I detached the hose to the far left, it dripped water in the pan which tripped the leak sensor. I pulled the dishwasher completely out, turned it over on its side and removed the drip pan. Dried it along with the sensor and now dishwasher is working. Fingers crossed it completes the entire wash cycle without any error codes.
    Thanks for making this video. It saved the day!

      @@blondeguy2035 It was the leak sensor on the bottom of the dishwasher. Dried it with paper towels and now it working. Thanks again!

    Big piece of advice!! Mine did not work after trying this then I redid everything he said I blew into the house again and opened the inside bottom dishwasher all the screws ( did this the first time too and cleaned out the debris). Second time i blew it into it put w flash light inside the dishwater where it drains and saw a silicone black piece, pulled it out and I think that was clogging the black drain tube!!

    Thank you sir for your help.....I had to replace a few parts and be sure the sensor in the bottom pan was good and dry. I did all that, but then started getting a different error code...the Auto-Heavy code...as you said...the hose was just clogged...I blew through it and also used the shop vac to try and suck out the junk....running like a charm right now!!!

      Yes, blowing air through all the lines worked. One line had some back pressure then with a puff of air something came out and release the pressure. Glad I could help. Thanks for watching!

    Hey, good video but what was the purpose of taking that gray cover off inside the unit unit?

    • @blondeguy2035
      @blondeguy2035  Před 6 měsíci +2

      To remove to sump pump completely to blow out debris instead of putting your face to the floor. It's just a lot easier to clean out that way. Thanks for watching!

    Another reason for the light can be TILT. If the washer is titled slightly backward or forward. Undo the screws under the counter and test it out.

    If I left my favorite glass in there,, I would’ve shut it down as well, it’s beer 30 and I could restart it in the morning while I was at work!

    • @blondeguy2035
      @blondeguy2035  Před 2 lety

      Well that could create a problem. I would just get me another favorite glass. The machine tries to pick up where it left off and I wouldn't leave the water in it all night long because then it's going to be cold and the machine will probably pump out all the water or try to heat the water. In my experience electronic machines are finicky and it's best to let them start and finish and not interrupt them. The same thing applies to clothes washers. Thanks for watching!

    I have Samsung DW80J3020 dishwasher. Q: If I want "Dry" only, Can you tell me how to do it ? Thanks.

    • @blondeguy2035
      @blondeguy2035  Před 2 lety +1

      Hi! Dry is not a selectable option. If your dishes are still wet like the next day be sure you are using rinse aid and after it makes the final tone that it is finished open your dishwasher door, that helps moisture to evaporate and dry dishes. Try to run your dishwasher 2 hours before you go to bed or leave your home so you can do this. This is what I do for myself. The older dishwashers had a heated dry cycle. Today's dishwashers don't do this to save energy at least the ones I have found. Hope this helps thanks for watching!

    We have the same dishwasher--a year older than yours. Whenever my husband opens it mid cycle (to get out his favorite glass) and then pushes start again, it flashes auto-heavy. It's really frustrating. Have you ever opened your dishwasher mid cycle and have that happen?

    • @blondeguy2035
      @blondeguy2035  Před 2 lety +1

      No, only a few times at the very beginning to put something else in and it continues where it left off. I would slap him on the hand and tell him to "leave it alone and don't touch it while it's working"! Thanks for watching.

    • @leex772
      @leex772 Před 2 lety +1

      @@blondeguy2035 Yeah, you're right; I've opened it pretty much right after it started to add something. My husband usually remembers about his glass later in the cycle. I already told him to leave the stupid thing alone when it's doing its thing. I have to say, I'm not a real fan of this particular machine. We already took it apart once years ago to fix a clog. Thanks for a great video.

    Yeah, do your research before you spend 2 or 3 hundered dollars on a 5 or 6 hundered dishwasher.That sanitizer sounds like a good idea to keep it smelling fresh. Cool video BTW.
