The root beer is so much more beautifully executed than the Batman or Pepsi. I even think I might ask to be taken off the waiting list for the Hulk and get the root beer GMT instead.
Stunning and the real grand slam for Rolex Baselworld 2018. The TT sets off the Everose more than the solid Everose CHNR. Rolex got every color right from the shade of the ceramic bezel to the hue of the Everose.

A novel color design but it has a certain cheese factor about it which precludes every day use....

I had the privilege to see the current Pepsi side by side with the rootbeer. It's kind if of like the Me2 Movement vrs Joe Biden. There is no question that the rootbeer takes the crown; it's not even close. If you aspire to be the manly man that you are inside; the rootbeer simply accentuates whatever manly attributes you're bringing to the game and does so in the best of ways. It's respectful, powerful, and cannot be questioned. Nobody questions the Manliness of Sean Connery, Robert Deniro, or Robert Redford. They certainly will NOT be questioning you when they see this on your wrist!

Yeah, that's what I thought until I had one on the wrist. They grow on you. I've a two tone bluesy Sub and two tone Date Just, They have a wow factor for sure.
it's also polished centerlinks for the steel version too.
I bought this new Root Beer and I also bought the new James Cameron Deepsea D-Blue last month. I have a great relationship with a major AD in the United States and my dealer called me first on both of these watches. I also bought my wife a new Rolex but hers was much easier to get. I am now hoping he calls me in regards to the new stainless steel Pepsi on jubilee. I feel very fortunate! I understand that a lot of people don't like two-tone and it is not my first choice either but, that said, I don't think this watch would work nearly as well in stainless steel. The rose gold center link ties the color scheme together very nicely. This is my only two-tone and it will likely remain that way. I don't see two-tone when I look at this watch; I just see a beautiful watch that flows together. Just my opinion!
I felt exactly the same way about the two tone when I saw this. I think the key is that the bezel colors are complimented perfectly by the bracelet. Thanks for the comment and congrats on the great collection!
My issue with two tone in general is I feel yellow gold is a bit old school, and not in a good way. Rarely do I see a two tone on my travels that is not being worn by a silver haired old man.
That being said, Rolex have done a truly fabulous job of mixing their rose gold in a very cool and very contemporary way. I think this GMT looks really exceptional and is a great piece. My only concern would be how well that gold holds up, since even polished steel center links can get a bit scratch up, although not so that I mind; I enjoy the GMT LN myself. But I wonder how that gold will look after a few years of regular wear.
I can't wait to see the new James Cameron, I liked the old one, but with the new redesigned bracelet, I'm sure it's amazing. I just saw my first SD43 this week, which looked great. Although I am not a fan of a matte black dial compared to the more glossy kind on a GMT or Sub.

I love the Sea-Dweller 43 and it's on the list of my next three Rolexes. Did you see the Sea-Dweller just sitting around, ready to be sold? Those babies go fast, if they're even available for sale (not pre-sold). My dealer thinks he can get me one within 2 months.
As for my new James Cameron Deepsea...yes, you will love it! The bracelet is now perfect and I love the fact that it has a 70-hour power reserve with the new movement. The thinner lugs look really nice and the minute and hour hands are slightly longer to match up perfectly with the dial markers (not many people know about this update). I sure love mine!
I almost bought the old version (116660) with a black face brand new from a dealer yesterday, just from a collection perspective, but I had to keep the goodwill in my back pocket for other watches since I only have so much Rolex justification BS that I can spew out to my wife in order to keep justifying my collection obsession!

WatchesOnYou in the UK its list price is £10,000, give or take, and I’ve just seen one advertised on Chrono24 for £14,500! That’s how crazy the watch World is getting now, Rolex are such marketing geniuses even if their watches are not the very best by any means...

beauty in the eye of beholder, if you like it, you will definitely like it, the rose gold actually gives it a very hot and sexy character.

Think you might have been exposed to a fake
There is NOTHING Rootbeer about the current Rootbeer. It’s a two-toned “Rolosor” with a simple brown strip on the bezel. C’mon man! My GF has more brown present on her landing strip. Until Rolex incorporates more Rootbeer back into the dial, this watch is simply flat bubbleless rootbeer. Delivering zero tasty froth on the top. Stick with your women; I’m sure she will taste better than this nonsense on the wrist!
