@@cowgod1945 My human mage Inquisitor can attest to that. She is the first companion that I got the hostile companion cutscene at (according to a save editor, I got -40) even before Here Lies the Abyss.
I got this convo right after my Inquisitor had married Sera. It was rather jarring as there was no way to tell Cass that. It carried on as if my Inquisitor wasn't married and hadn't considered it. Then later Cass decided to congratulate me on marrying Cullen. I know he and Sera are both blonde, but I don't think anyone could mix up the two. Poor Cassandra was really quite confused in this DLC. Bless her lol.

That's a bug, when I recently played through Cassandra immediately acknowledge the "secret" marriage.

I always picture the events of _Trespasser_ happening on a nice, cool, and sunny spring day.
That *rapidly* goes to shit over the course of the day/night.
This scene was painful for me but then the Solas romance is riddled with it. I also have trouble swallowing the idea Varric would be this cruel to pull this kind of joke on Cassandra or the Inquisitor. Especially if he had any inkling she still had feelings for Solas. It all came off as rubbing salt in an old wound.

+C. Sphire it annoyed me that you couldnt really talk about it to varric after wards, I know blackwall mentioned him to me to which my inquisitor replied that it was too painful for her to discuss.
Jade Beau All I can say is that maybe they thought we were getting with someone else. My head cannon is my Inquisitor flirted with Cullen all the time but they became good friends after Solas took off which left the others to assume there was something more between them.
I think the whole proposal thing was Varric's proposal to name the Inquisitor as champion/Comté of Kirkwall. But he just may have mentioned proposal, and Cassandra turned it into something it wasn't.

It being girly is a pretty modern invention, god knows how and why.
Blue was once consider a womanly colour, even the virgin Mary is depicted having a blue wardrobe. Well red was a manly colour, and pink a boy colour.
But, yes it's quite commen in todays socity that colour, represent gender in a way it never was in history. It's quite bewildering

I love the commentary Cassandra gives in the credits. It mends my inquisitor’s solas-broken heart. (P.S. Varric, that joke is too soon haha.)
Is this different from any 'non-romance' character? Because Solas never really got mentioned, neither directly nor indirectly.
Makara I think Cass thought Lavellan had already deal with the fact that Solas would never come back to her or maybe it was a delicate matter to mention even the word "SOLAS"
My playthrough was BUUGED to all hell. First, the conclave said Gaspard was in power when Celene and Briala got back together, then I talked to Cassandra first when she tried to talk to me about proposing to Sera. Married Sera, then talked to Cassandra and she congratulated me on marring CULLEN.
This is why I usually wait awhile after new releases before buying. Most new games and DLCs are just loaded with bugs, and then companies have to release patches to fix bugs they should've fixed in the beta stage.
Yeah, I had those issues when it first came out too. Thankfully, those bugs were fixed early on :) Lol I had married Cullen and Cass had talked to me about Sera. It was funny as hell
lol i think Varric and Cass would make a better couple--in a funny way. one of the funniest scene i remember about them involves them Cass chasing Varric in a circle around a table. lol
Man voice acting is a hell of a thing, after playing the citadel dlc i can't stop imagining cassandra talking to traynor... But at least it is not as extreme as male commander from me2 and me3 in german because it it is the same voice actor they use for jeremy clarkson and it was a wild ride starting me2 in german.
It's weird. My Lavellan looks almost exactly like yours in face. She has green eyes and strawberry blonde hair in a ponytail but facially? It's pretty spot on. Romanced Solas too. She's a dual-dagger sassy rogue though. In another world... Okay sorry. It's great. She's my canon as well. My quizzy told Cassie that she 'may get married' and she was like, 'I figured'. Really Cassie really? I guess she's holding out for Solas to come back and propose too. I wish.
+Night Frost Same here. Finding the right balance between his plan and ours, a wedding, then wandering old ruins and having kids would be what most of us want and dram about. But the very bitter part of me thinks we'll probably end up holding him as he sputters an apology and dies in our arms. If we get lucky his soul will enter us in a whole Flemeth/Mythal move and therefore our immortal Inquisitor will never be apart from him again.
Yknow im just now realizing that fem inquisitor sounds just like Samantha Traynor from mass effect 3, its neat.

Aloy Price A male quizzy who's romancing Cassandra gets a similar scene, except she believed he was there to propose to her. She started giving reasons why they shouldn't get married yet. The look on his face when she finally asked if he was there to propose was hilarious!

@Esau Davis Nah it's generic dialogue, she uses these exact same lines if you didn't romance anyone. There is nothing Solas-specific here. She does comment on your love interest by name if you have one (e.g. Blackwall or Dorian.)
Honestly if Cassandra and Varrick are in DA4 I will be so happy
Also echos what I got from Inquisitor Ameridan about taking moments of happiness where you can find them. The world will take the rest.

I wonder what the "maybe i will get married" option will do for us in the next game? I assume it will affect the next game since it's a special option. I know that asking to join Solas will most likely affect the next game (but not how).
Could it mean that if we convince Solas not to go through with whatever he will settle down? With us? (seems unlikely - Solas, married? Haha, oh the twists and turns my mind takes!) Or maybe it means that we will fall for someone else? *sad face* I'm too afraid to ever choose that option LOL.
I like that within Cassandra is quite that introverted type even though she's a warrior on the outside but once she says what she means or tries to she means it
I'm just imagining the DLC having its own extension, in which Cassandra's "you have my blessing" culminates in the Inquisitor temporarily defecting with Solas like -

Maybe in the end cards, Solas could still leave her after a while, so the subsequent premise remained intact. But a little ride-or-die option wouldn't have killed us (much)!

I loved this interaction and was actually a little miffed that Varric basically told Cassandra about the proposal like he knew it was going to happen but wanted to make Cassandra make an ass of herself...again. With Cullen she says some stuff about how he's easy on the eyes lol Poor Cassandra

Sotty about texting to mad at what I see clearly on these carectors.the inquisitor does all this work fighting and all creited goes to Solas.to much. I GO cullun, wait to kiss him, then dont finish game, because I dont want to do Solas mistakes, i lose my home, everyone hates me, and it sickens me at the end they all talk to me lol. Only one is Cullen who treats me as a real women.
Why does cassandra bring up marriage after Solas leaves? BECAUSE SHE PLAYS DUMB SHE KNOWS WHAT SHES DOING, SHE LAUGHING INSIDE BECAUSE SHE GRAVES FOR SOLAS AND IS GLAD SOLAS LEAVES THE INGUISITOR. SHE A BIG JELOUSE CARECTOR.
