What I find ironic is that after Mourinho was sacked, Levy said we need to get back to offensive attractive football that corresponds to our dna and then you get Conte who is basically a parallel of mourinho that specializes in defence and offensive transition. Truth be told, if you want to win silverware, you can't still keep in your starting line up defenders like Dier or Davies with no disrespect to either of them. The difference of level between the players out front and the ones out back is huge. Also about Poch not winning anything after all, bear in mind that he was the one with 2 windows of no transfers and no backing, he achieved what he achieved with limited resources and did what Conte has failed to do so far, actually improve players.

You are speaking of a ceiling, implying spurs have hit their ceiling in regards to not being able to win trophies, but that’s complete bullshit. When we had won our last FA Cup we were the number one winners of that competition, we used to be seen as a cup team. A very average arsenal has been winning cup trophies the past few years, Leicester City ffs sake won the league. Why is it that we have to accept that this is our “ceiling”. The clubs motto, is to dare is to do, that’s what we as a club should live by. The fans want silverware, we want glory, we want to keep reaching higher, but Tottenham itself overseen by Levy is a business. It’s being run to sustain the level of revenue and “success” we have currently. Spurs in all honesty should have won a trophy under Poch’s reign, we have great resources, we have had word class players and managers, we just need to have ambition. That’s all.

19/20- Pochettino spent on his signings which were injured/flops, once again had a thin squad with key players wanting out. Mourinho comes in, heavy injury problems because of a thin squad

21/22- Nuno was out of his depth, Conte steadies the ship, plays dire football until the winter window when the new signings smashed it
22/23- Conte is backed with his players, style of football gets worse and worse and worse, we get outplayed by every team

Spurs should never had fired Poch, he should have backed him not fired him that's the problem at Spurs. If Conte really had any balls he would have named the players he was talking about, the other problem with Conte doing what he did was he never took any share of the blame himself. Conte sat Kane out for the Sheffield United game, he makes the substitutions nobody else Conte needs to grow a pair take some of the blame himself.

Players will not go there if they have a choice between Spurs or the other teams I have mentioned, there is obviously a mentality problem and a comfort zone issue.

As much as he was right in his rant, he is also to blame for our poor form this season. 15 million a year.. this whole debate and all this pressure is purely because Arsenal are doing so good
Spurs being in 4th rn would be a good season in any of the last 7 seasons but since arsenal are cruising at the top they are feeling the pressure. It’s as simple as that. Tottenham have never been a perennial trophy winning club so it’s not bad to aim for top 4 and go for a trophy once ever decade when they have a couple world class players and a good manager and squad. If you swapped Arsenal and Liverpool in the table right now, Conte would be renewing his contract and none of this would be talked about guaranteed.

Spurs will win something eventually but it wont be the Champions League or Premier League. They should honestly make the domestic cups their sole objective in the next 5 years and push from there. Affter that focus on Europa or even Conference Cup. Build slowly instead of trying to jump the queue. They have the tools for success they just need to make sure they're using them to build a solid foundation instead of a shaky house on sand.

No manager will succeed at Spurs with Mr Levy in charge. Also, I know players are human but with the money they earn at least they should turn up with the right attitude. They earn millions a year and they have more power then the managers these days, you can bring new players but if you don't get rid of the dead wood then sacking the manager it will become a vicious cycle.
The Manager is there to manage the team and get the best of every single player.. Players are there to listening the manager and execute as requested, they work for the club, so saying that the club has the responsibility to bring in the players that fit with the club mentality. so, nothing wrong with Spurs, they are doing what they have been doing for the last 20 years. That`s consistency to me. LOL
The manager has never been the real problem at Spurs, the person in charge is the problem.

Conte is a man of good will and gesture he's passionate about the game the players at the club I think need booting. The fans of the club r tired of this it's the road to nowhere!!!
