The Antony one absolutely stinks, that’s one of the worst signings ever made, and it is so damning on ETH coz that was the guy he demanded and really wanted.
Yeah he wanted Antony and he seemed like a good player. Every manager makes mistakes, tell me how many left backs have Pep brought in and yet he plays a CB on the left. Ten Hag didn't tell the board to buy Antony for 85 mil, it's on them. He was worth 40 mil, but they left it late so Ajax demanded 85 mil.
Martinez & Hojlund (watch his overall play) look like great signings. Casemiro and Eriksen were vitally needed but didn’t have long term planning in mind, he also wanted De Jong over Casemiro anyway. Onana and Amrabat let’s see! Antony & Mount look like poor signings

What was spent 10 years ago isn't relevant. There are no players left from 10 years ago (apart from free signing Jonny Evans), there are only 6 players from 5+ years ago. Last 3 years is the only real relevant benchmark.@@tbow6719

I get the almost 500 million spent but if you look at the team currently the only player that ten Hag has signed that has been fit and available ever game this season is Onana. Everyone else in the squad were ole players so the lack of style of play has been heavily impacted due to that and ten Hag is just trying to win games of football in whatever way at the moment

His build up play was the worry, that has been SO much better overall than any of us expected. He’s missed chances he’s but actually has the natural movement and anticipation of a proper striker. Needs to get consistent (and needs more chances) but the potential is huge
Rasmus has been fine given his age and price etc. He is 20, playing for United in his first year in England and Premier League...
He’s also been hampered by injuries throughout the season, probably wouldn’t have been brought on against Bournemouth, only for the muppets on the pitch being useless.
Five goals in the Champions League is a good return. He also would have had a tap in against Bournemouth if Dalot had squared it to him, rather than taking on a shot from a crazy angle and hitting the side netting.
I like Hojlund’s energy and aggression, he’d probably score more in a team which actually feeds him. United’s midfield is so poor that he’s living off scraps most of the time.

It sounds better with Mount on the right and Rashford on the left. Loads of creativity for Hojlund too and you can switch to a 4-4-2 at times or a 4-4-2 out of possession.
