Lol I never really eat anything gourmet on the trail so I don't really show it. So many other channels really go nuts with the food.

Was at Thunder Swamp (I can't stay away) 3 weeks ago and was denied a permit for fire. Interestingly, the person I e-mailed said Delaware State Forest never issues permits. I have heard you talk about this and specifically know others who have obtained a permit. When I asked it was right after a week of rain, so I don't think I would have gotten a fire, but I would have liked to of tried.

Any time I've had to deal with the DSF office I've found it to be difficult. They always seem a little "put out". The rangers there have always been great though

My experience has been it depends on the state forest. Michaux has never approved a permit for burning before May 25th but both Tuscarora and Susquehannock have given permission.
