Great trip Kurt! Nice stand. Seems convenient other than the weight of it. I need to get out to the Pinchot trail this year. It’s been a very long time since I was there.
Thanks Dan. I like the Tensa... it's definitely not for every occasion but for things like this it's great. My original idea with the Tensa was winter trips when it was nice and clear to go set up in the middle of a field and just have hours of sky watching comfort, but we haven't really had a winter since I got it lol

Hey, Dakota here. Looks like another awesome trip! I am thinking of doing the STS again but somewhere setting up to tarpless hammock camp under the stairs near Cherry Springs sometime around the next meteor shower
That would be awesome, such dark skies out there. STS is on my short list of upcoming trips.

That little guy was 20 feet away from where I parked. I just put in drive and saw him.
