Traded my OG i30n in for an A35 in June (which I still have now) but I can’t help but miss and want my i30n back, best car I’ve driven!

Been thinking of getting one of these got a Kia gt moded even for a 1.6 turbo it goes! Been thinking to upgrading to one of these what you guys think? Did the wheeels come with the car or did you upgrade ?

@I Don’t Care I don’t like Mercedes but an A35 would smoke an M140i in a straight line with the AWD. On a rolling race it’s a different story
Got my dark night coming next week. I am so excited! I drove the manual on a race track when they came out a few years ago and fell in love at first sight. Looking forward to not having to change gears I must say.

Got my shadow grey dct back in August! Such a good car! I traded in my old shape i30N and there’s huge differences to the car for sure!
Could I ask how the auto box reflects mpg 🙏
@@nealewilletts1904 2 extra gears and a bigger turbo seem to reflect about a maximum achievable 44mpg on a motorway just under the speed limit, I had the old one and the dct seems really good for fuel economy, my AVG is 34 instead of 27 in the manual, hope this helps

I owned an i30N, loved it but getting the power down to the ground in FWD was just hard at times, fingers crossed for a AWD version soon, I'll be all in!
I30n best hatch back ever.
Makes me miss my PFL, traded it in and it was the worse thing I ever done. GPF delete is definitely a must 🤣

If they offered this in the US I would get it instead of my Kona N but I like both.
I think Hyundai really dropped the ball not bringing this to North America. I would trade in my GT N-Line in a heartbeat for this.
You guys have the Veloster N which is the same car but lighter.

We don’t get the i30N in American
First jist had the Veloster N
Now the ElAntra N and Kona N.
But they never upgraded the Veloster N to the larger turbo that the 2nd Gen I30N has.. which makes good power possible without a turbo upgrade
Running in the engine while at 5k revving, poping and banging okay go for it… no hate here btw i also own an N✌🏽

Proof that GPF cars can sound good. Pisses me off that other manufacturers can’t do the same, cos it’s clearly possible. Renault managed it with the Megane too.
Ford did a good job with the Mk8 ST, and now hyundai with the I20N, you wouldn't even know
I really like these, but mine would have to be a manual. And the chavvy pops and bangs would get turned off.

Can’t these just come in regular torque converter automatic?? DCT will be such a stress in my city due to the kind of traffic conditions we have here

How come on the new Dct models a stage 1 gets you like 350hp but the pre models only get you like 310
I believe they upgraded the intercooler and things like that on the facelift car

I have had my130N for about 4 years now and I would never give it up. Saying that if I could buy this version without getting rid of mine then I will do it in a heartbeat.

@@nightingale4369 I don’t consider my Kona N fast and multiple people showed over 5s 0-60 vs one 4.8 listed on car and driver. Golf R is AWD and can be modified to be an actual fast car IMO

Yes the Veloster is definitely more unique and looks better from every angle. Especially like the single door on the driver's side.

As long as the mods didn’t cause the issue you should be fine
The i30n is the best new hot hatch but only with a manual. The dct is ok but sportscars should only have a stick

nah I actually looked it up and apparently there was a 2021 facelift which I'm not sure I can tell the differences
