With all the talk of JZ this, RB that, LS everything… sometimes we need a little reminder that some modern cars make big power really, really easy. Like Audi’s RS3, for example. It blows us away with what it puts down bone stock. But throw some parts at it, and boom - you have a car that’s irresponsibly quick for almost no effort. Yeah, we’re going to need more of these things.

@@TheHoonigans Please let me come work with you guys! I live, eat, sleep & breath cars. I have 2 W211 E55 AMG Mercedes. ( lightly mod'ed ) And have built an 89 Ford taurus SHO that ran high 12's an 84 4x4 Blazer 4 cylinder converting it to rear wheel drive with a 327 that would bring the front tires off the ground and ran low 12's high 11's. I know. It should have done better but i was just having fun killing tires with it. And i built a 2.0 jetta with A FULL Nuespeed supercharger system injectors, Full SS Nuespeed exhaust ect ect.... Along with a hole host of other cars that would literally take me all day to list. Ive owned more cars then i can remember. And have modified Close to 90% of them. Im a 41 years old pipe welder fabricator has wanted nothing more than to build have and own my own custom car shop and would love nothing more than to come and work with you guys in California and would be more than happy to relocate my whole family to do so. Please im so serious that's not even funny I will move out of my house today if you guys would take me on. Sincerely apologies for my grammar and spelling. @@trentens991 what percentage of viewers would want a track use only car. At that moment you lock out 95% of the viewers if not more. The rs3 is a perfect street car.
I do not see a rs3 as a track car anyway, it is a family car which you can use as an express train.

Body guy here, late model Audi VW and Porsches are the easiest frontends on the planet. I have no doubt they will be bitching about what all they have to do to swap the inner cooler tho, I would too. But for a wreck where you have to replace the whole frontend, its modular design makes it crazy fast and easy and pays pretty well too. I love love love to see those four rings rollin in on the back of a tow truck

Damn didn't expect to grab y'alls ear, but just in case lightning strikes twice I will say too... those bumpers are SUPER easy to tare when you pull em free from the fender. It takes a good yeet from the corner to get it loose but you should also be pushing out from the back side firmly where the bumper curves up around the front or the fender with a flat palm...
havent watched a hoonigan for a while due to just being busy... but... we've just been put into another lockdown so guess we're going on a binge :')

easiest way to do the intercooler is by removing the front bumper theres not enough room to pull it out from the bottom especially if you got an iroz cooler. For the bumper theres three bolts per side in the wheel well, three across the top of the bumper near the hood latch and a few on the bottom cant remember how many. when you take it off be sure to disconnect the headlight washer line and have a bucket handy cause it drains real quick

To remove the bumper you need to loosen the fender liner and there are hidden bolts on each side deep down there. It took me half an hour the first time.
That much extra power with just a stage 1 tune is totally normal for Audi/VWs. It’s a beautiful thing

My exact car. Anyways, on the older Mustang Dyno Model (linked rollers) (the programming target verifies) yeilds 36x AWHP on the Mustang dyno.

Mustang dynos are easy to manipulate. That dyno is probably calibrated like a dynojet. But doesn’t matter, it’s just a tuning tool. You just want to see the gains anyways

You guys know IE has the best flash tunes for 07K cars, I know I've done my homework their tunes make the most power by alot... APR stage 1 makes 200hp IE makes 218 in a NA 07K

If it was tuned beforehand youd think these parts you are putting on would already be bolted on to some extent...at least fmic or turbo inlet etc...that Audi was stock on the dyno with 400 ponies and shit tons of torques

they don't have to compensate.. all german cars are fast.
German here they dont measure to the wheels they measure crank like everyone else
Whp on a dyno will always be lesser than what’s on paper from factory because that’s measured in crank power. It’s simple
Hold on now, a parts relay race doesn't sound bad. 4 cars, each exchange you have to trade off something to make the new one work. Starts easy with something like transferring tires then the final handoff is a full engine swap.
