Appreciating all the knowledge from south africa 🇿🇦
Exactly the same. Wish we had a tuner like this in South Africa.
I'm South african, too. I now live in England
@@kpadayachee1There are many bro MRC Cape Town, Thanas Tuned , JayTec Mods all great Tuners and Builders but each to their own. We have great guys here in the RSA no doubt
Thank you 🙏🏽
@@carrickkenney3758 mrc and vrs are the top guys for your audi/vw these guys are also very knowledge and know what their doing
What a beast of an RS3 that is! Structure of the video was perfect too, really producing some good stuff
Thank you 😎
@@InfinitPerformanceso is this 800 wheel Hp or 800hp at the crank ?
@@samhana2140 crank :)
its so nice to see other performance shops shouting out others or others parts and talking good about them. Now days when performance shops post builds they always say "buy ours! Ours is the best on the market everyone elses doesnt compare and no else put in as much time as we do with r&d or testing". Looks great and sounds amazing keep up the great work.
Couldn't agree more! We buy the best parts from the best shops in the world to get a reliable end product that performs well. The tuning industry is full of smoke and mirrors, my aim with this channel is to clear up a lot of the misconceptions assumed in the tuning world.
Quality of videos have significantly increased in a very short amount of time. Well structured when showing the science and steps. Fantastic. If only I lived in the same country. My RS3 would come to you.
Thank you very much!
This is the best step by step explanation I have ever seen on modifying TFSI engines.
Would love to see this build on a drag strip with slicks. Absolute flying machine🚀
Just stumbled across your videos, amazing touch to detail on every episode and honestly brings smiles to my face :). Keep up the good work lads! 🔥
Welcome aboard! Look forward to bringing you more content 😎
I freaking love that sound. Still got my rs3 from 2016, i want to go for stage 3 in the next year. I love every second in this car.
The 2016 RS3 sounds even better than the 2017/18 models ;)
what’s it like maintenance wise within let’s say 2-3 years of owning it? how much are you having to spend on a 2016 model to keep it in nice shape with minimal - no issues? i’m currently saving for one n almost there, i’m so keen!!!!!
@@dubbog7870 they are pretty good cars do a regular oil/filter change and drive it warm and cold.
i will be getting mine in December can’t wait.
@@dubbog7870keep up with regular oil changes and plugs and she'll be fine, warm up and cool down the motor. These motors are solid if oil changes are done on a regular
NGL that was one of the best technical explanation videos ive seen at all. Ncie editing, good amount of humor and u see how that guy truly knows what hes talking about. Respect!
Wow, thanks! Appreciate the feedback :)

Always a very positiv thing to see the apprentice :)
Keep it on with these videos, you guys are excellent
Thank you! More to come :)
Thanks for documenting this process. It took my built RS3 time to get built properly.
Glad it helped
@@InfinitPerformance Yes very helpful. Did you use a JDY intake manifold for this car, and do you think upgraded manifold without upgraded runners increases performance?
Insane!! 😮 think the boss seems like an absolute legend! What a place to work!

The improvement on every video! Real good editing😅 very informative and entertaining

super result! what turbo did you use? I have a rs3 czgb and I'm about to proceed to stage 4 with tc870xt.. we'll see.. even the jdy exhaust is spectacular.! If my version fits, I'll think about it!

Good content guys 👌 and the proof of your work is in those Dyno figures and repeat business
Thank you!
Good work fellas, lots of educating you are doing with these videos. Does this setup have the rolling launch control like you've shown in previous episodes? Also, are you able to setup rolling launch control on the 2.0 MQB vehicles?
Thank you, means a lot! This setup does indeed have rolling launch control, the crazy anti lag noises you can hear in the video when the car is on the Dyno you can see the rolling launch control in action with the blue flames :)
Mate this channel is epic
Thank you ☺️
So informative. Another video saved under "DAZA Syllabus". Thankyou Aoon. What's the size on the meth nozzle and what ratio to water do you recommend?
I started with a 1000cc nozzle on this build but ultimately backed off to 500cc which is optimal. Id use 250cc on stock turbo.
Paul started melting, hes gonna be buying an RS3 now haha... GREAT CONTENT GUYS. Appreciate all the knowledge shared!
Thank you! I don’t think Paul has stopped thinking about it 😅
Genuine question here, I’ve only changed my intercooler to Wagner and RAM air intake, due to add a downpipe with a remap stage 2 then 3 or wanna go stage 3 with these Dons but what would you say is worth changing that’s most important in the engine components? ATM I have camshaft or sensor code showing and the car on idle route how slightly gasps but doesn’t cut out just slightly loses idle power ? Why is this? Also how important is coil packs upgrade from plugs ?
Loving this content, keep them coming! I'm keen know more around the stock LPFP not being able to keep up using ethanol, and what pump is recommend? Lots of people out there running E85 with the stock fuel system (DS1) other than upgraded PI's without any problems - logs show about 70% duty at E60 at 1.7bar.
The stock lpfp can handle e85 on the stock turbo, 580hp, but it can’t handle 800hp of flow 🤓
@@InfinitPerformance Cheers for the reply. 👍
Absolutely amazing what a car 🤤🙏🏼some day ? !
Life is what you make it 💪🏾
Name drops IROZ... then proceeds to promote a Chinese made clone of their intake manifold that Hank is absolutely raging about.... 😆 Love it.
Great video 👏
Thank you!
Nice video, what pads and discs would you recommend running on a stock rs3?
We like Ferodo DS performance with stock discs and some good fluid! Would also recommend modifying the brake shields for more airflow.
New subscriber here. I enjoy learning as much as I can about my car. Stage 1e85 but interested in what it takes to keep it reliable at higher levels.
Which street engine/trans mounts and dog bone do you use for the best tradeoff between NVH and support?
We recommend the powerflex dogbone mount, they are enough for most applications under 1000hp. Part number PFF85-832
do you have a written breakin for a brand new engine? I have a new 2.5L CEPB (2013) motor coming and want to break it in correctly. thanks.
Hey excellent vid, thank you. im looking to pick up my new RS3 soon, whats the best way to run an engine like that in?
Thank you! Do not do motorway miles for the first 1000 miles, do not use launch control and try to vary the rpms. Let the engine warm up each time and otherwise drive it as normal :)
Geniuses ❤
Can yo do that with the V8 2010 modal? Naturally Aspirated engines???
Nice work 👍
Thank you! Cheers!
Ive got a 650bhp golf r and i would use you guys for future work without doubt...
Thank you Mark! We hope to welcome you in the future!

Hey guys, great informative video! Why does the motor move so much at 7.20?
Thank you! The subframe was not fitted at this stage meaning the lower engine mount was not secured to the engine, so it was free to move more than usual

I need to have a chat with you guys about the options for my DAZA RS3.
Id like a bit more power and some flames with the limiter removed.
Give us a call anytime, we are ready when you are!
Great content, be great to see some dragy times ;-)
Thank you! Have asked the owner to dragy it :)
6:06 The slot in the inlet plenum helps equalise flow to all 5 inlet ports when on boost.
I'm not convinced, they could've easily velocity stacked instead based on that cast manifold design?
This is what I was wondering.... But agree with infinit
Where did you guys get the Eventuri clamp from turbo to elbow? @ 2:36 would I be able to purchase one?
It comes with all elbows now. Reach out to Eventuri they will send you one.
Does the stock throttle elbow and intercooler to turbo pipe not cause restriction?
I haven’t done or seen any conclusive results to confirm if it is a restriction or not. So we assume for now that it isn’t.
The Content goes crazy💯 i Like to see The Engine out of the Car and Build a Monster Engine
That Build has a upgrade Clutch/Haldex or Differential? How much NM can the Clutch ?
best regards from Germany pls more RS3/TTRS videos💥
Thank you!! The clutch can do 850nm with good software from our experience
@@InfinitPerformance Thank you ✌🏻
Interesting notes on breaking in the engine....I'm at about 800 miles on my new m340i and was worried I wasn't varying the RPMs enough since I'm trying to keep it under 4k RPM for a while.
We like to run them in hard :)
Currently running a 2018 TTRS on a stage 2. What is the cost of going full stage 3 like the one in this video? Wanting to get similar power for street use.
Send me a message on whatsapp (Sean) 0141 641 1222, I'll be happy to give you some prices :)
A real monster
Indeed! 😎
Great video! Just wondering what the whole build cost?
This is a 30k build approx from stock
Weapon!
Yaaasss👌🏻👌🏻
😎 🏴
What company is the intake manifold and runners from?
Customer supplied, so not sure!
How much does the full build cost?
You say you'll run around 18-20 degrees of ignition timing because you are not on ethanol, roughly what kind of ignition timing would you run with ethanol then?
Also on different maps, is it mainly adjusted by boost pressure or ignition timing? How much boost on different maps?
On ethanol maximum brake torque can be reached without knock which depends on cr. Ethanol doesn't knock, or it shouldn't. They can take 23 degrees on ethanol on stock cr
Our map switching changes everything, not just boost and ignition. It is 4 totally separate maps. We can make one map not fire the injectors, second on 99 octane, the third for 109 and the 4th for e85 if we wanted to. One map could be for a stock turbo and the second map could be for a G35-1050 turbo ;) We don't do lame map switching which use calculations to make adjustments based off one map.
I would put on a set of twin Weber 45 DCOE’s carbs. Also, have u considered fitting electronic ignition, & getting rid of the points! That will probably add 50-65 bhp. Thank me later.
Carbs 😅
i have never seen an engine move like that when being started lol. It looked alive.
🤓
What TCU map you use in this car ?
Our ecu/tcu tuning on this platform is in collaboration with GT-Innovation.
Sure we will see vids of it on fire soon, seen 2 from here in flames
😳
Do you guys not have E85 over there?..
Unfortunately not. Only available to buy by the barrel.
🎉
😀
Is it possible to convert an a3 8v into an rs3 ? Lets say I wanted to do that to my first car, can it happen ? (unlimited budget)
It can absolutely happen :)
Can't wait until my turn
⏳
Im curious, 0 to 100 and 0 to 200km/u?
Well, will need to ask the customer to measure for us :)
Any issues with diffs?
Lots but it is not power related. The diffs fail when the cars are launched in wet conditions. Axle tramp/wheel hop causes the diff to fail. Will make a video on this in the coming few months!
Why was the engine rocking so much when trying to start it?
The lower subframe mount was not connected as we do not do final assembly of the car before a first startup :)
That guy knows his stuff about RS3s no doubt about it anyway more of the same if possible bye Andy.
Thank you Andy, more is coming. Stay tuned!
Sedan or Hatch I can't decide.
The sedan is more expensive and less available here in Australia.
same here in Morocco, hatch costs around 100k USD for base model let alone sedan which I want 😢
What year is the rs3?
This is a 2018 model :)
What’s the cost of a build like this?
20-30k depending on options!
Holy $ batman
Yup!
Whats the cost of this build approximately?
9 min mark what chooon is that please
Could you not hear the compressor surge?
This is covered in one of our newer videos ( iroz 750hs )

🤣!
So, when are we seeing Matt Watson dragging this on carwow?? 😂
Lets see if we can arrange it :)
What’s the cost ?
20-30k depending on options!
100-200 time?
This is a 4.8-5.0 full weight street car.
🇵🇰👍🏻🇵🇰
At some point, it becomes "overkill".
I think 800hp is a nice place to be on this car :)
how do you explain that calculation of power at the flywheel? like from 532whp to 806hp is 50% transmission loss? can’t be more then 18% loss , not a hater love your videos and hard work but I think people should look more for whp rather then crank power( which is a calculated estimated power)
MAHA dynos work a little bit differently. They measure real loss at the end of each run. As a comparison my rear wheel drive McLaren loses 170hp just to the rear wheels. The Bugatti loses over 350. UK crank figures and USA whp figures tend to be equal.
@@InfinitPerformance that’s mad, no offence just never seen so much power loss to the crank, like your work thanks for reply 👍🏼
@@dan5pot this is why we don’t use whp in Europe 😉 MAHA are a German brand and actually used by Bugatti and others so I have to assume it’s accurate enough for my use.
@@InfinitPerformance true enough, but I have to say that dyno figures are only good when comparing a base run , helpful for you of course but how the car goes on the road/dragy is the ultimate test .
@@dan5pot you are absolutely correct! I tend to stay away from paying too much attention to peak numbers as I like to set cars up that are going to be fast in the street.
Is that 2017
It is a 2018 model :)
@@InfinitPerformance thanks!

Kaboom!

Find it hard to believe that spraying brake cleaning suddenly makes the injectors to start working. I’m not a mechanic but that sounds like bs
You’d be surprised, brake cleaner acts like a fuel, we were getting spark but no fuel. Getting the cylinders to begin combusting persuaded the engine to start in this case :)
