It’s far from healthy. Think about how much SpongeBob’s stalker antics have been hazardous to Squidward’s health and safety. Not to mention breaking into Squidward’s house uninvited and damaging property. Those moments in Pizza Delivery and Goodbye Krabby Patty were not enough to improve the relationship and it’s a common thing for neighbors who have reservations and are at odds against neighbors who live a carefree lifestyle.

Plankton would actually be a better boss at the Krusty Krab if he did give up his world-domination goals. When Patrick was working at the Chum Bucket, Plankton said that Pat earned a promotion for pleasing the customers with silly slogans. Plankton also supports Squidward's cooking talents after the Fricassee was a huge hit. And also, he isn't money-grubbing like Krabs. Krabs underpays, overworks, and stresses out his employees so that the customer is pleased with the food.

I can visualize the Krusty Krab being more successful and happier if Plankton was the boss. I can actually visualize it seeking more items rather than just Krabby Patties and Fries. I can see different delicacies being sold along with the classic Krabby Patty due to Plankton liking Squidward’s cooking ideas and talents.
The advertisement of the restaurant would do really well when Patrick is in charge. Thanks to the silly slogan success he did for Plankton in “Chum Is Fum”. Even Plankton took a liking to Patrick’s silly suggestions to success.
I can see SpongeBob still being the fry cook he is today along with Squidward being his partner. However, I also see SpongeBob as Plankton’s loyal supporter when things get hard on him, and even a business partner when it comes to brainstorming ideas to improve the restaurant and keep it booming! Plankton and SpongeBob have that comforting each other kind of relationship to me, along with both of somewhat respecting each others opinions and coming up with great schemes to make one of their lives better.
And that is all I visualize what would happen if Plankton was in charge of the Krusty Krab. I honestly think it would have been way more successful and popular if it was not Mr. Krabs. But that’s just my opinion. And I mean, at least he would have achieved his life long dream of possessing the Krabby Patty Secret Formula. The World-Dominating mindset is the only thing that can get in the way of him accepting that path however, but what do you guys think?
There was actually an episode about that and Plankton was an amazing boss. He just switched back because he couldn't handle the role reversal.
It took me a while to realize sandy treats SpongeBob the best out of all the characters.

Squidward, on few occasions, has stuck up for SpongeBob, but with Patrick, more times than not, makes the situation worse.
Eh, Patrick is like low gray area to me. He's INCREDIBLY stupid and screws things up for him a lot(and sometimes he can be an outright jerk) but I'd argue that he at least means well MOST of the time.

It is interesting that season 11 had a few episodes that seemed to hint at Sandy and Mr. Krabs having a bit of a rivalry of sorts. Shopping List, which you referenced is one example, but there's also hints in Planton Paranoia and especially Surf N' Turf.
No surprise that SB and Pat are on the grey area. I mean, classic era started to portray his antagonistic side. The same for Squidward. Both were toxic to SB.
While sometimes it's a very complicated relationship which for some reason is toxic just for comedy and then a bunch of other episodes just being super friendly and caring

Mr. Krabs and Plankton are indeed the most toxic relationship in the show. Which is a shame, since they used to be friends as kids. Kinda wish they teamed up more often.
Also, i'm happy that SpongeBob and Patrick are not in the toxic relationships and are close to healthy. To be fair, they had it better in the older episodes. And SpongeBob and Squidward are definitely grey. Whenever SpongeBob and Squidward actually gets along, i find it wholesome to watch.

No, they didn’t. After “valentines day”, Patrick’s ugly side became persistent and his relationship with SB was toxic. No wonder the crew that came on board in s4 continued that trend and it showed during the dark era episodes.
Okay, they still had some issues, but Patrick was mostly just being dumb in the older episodes. Kinda wish their friendship got more improved as well...

What's sad about Mr. Krabs is that he used to have *very* positive relationships with SpongeBob and Pearl. Remember the episode where he spent so much money on the stuff Pearl wanted to have at the Krusty Krab? He knew she was costing him money but refused to fire her because, well, he's her daughter. Even when SpongeBob fired her later, Mr. Krabs fainted. Not to mention how much he used to look out for SpongeBob. He really had a fall from grace.

Honestly, Sandy and Spongey should be Best Friends sincs their relationship is clearly more healthy.
There is one relationship that was missed: Squidward and Mr. Krabs. They might be near grey area or toxic. They get along sometimes, but they are not the kindest to each other. Like Spongebob, Mr Krabs uses Squidward for his gain for money and Squidward sometimes see this. This even causes him to even try quitting (not because Spongebob is a pain in the butt).
Finally, I’ve been asking for this the SpongeBob and Patrick relationship is understandable where you put them are used to be in the healthy category but thanks to finalization it went downhill back in the day he used to get SpongeBob advice but now he’s back in some instances like the old days were they just great friends maybe they could get better

Honestly I wouldn’t consider SpongeBob and squidwards relationship unhealthy infact I would sorta consider it healthy, even though squidward is often seen yelling at him I think squidward almost plays a small fatherly role towards him often comforting him in his times of need and even be willing to give things up to make SpongeBob happy and SpongeBob always tries his best to make squidward happy and make sure he’s okay.

You call out how Krabs harassed Plankton with his fear of whales to the point of suicide but how are you going to forget how Plankton framed Krabs for stealing the Neptune's crown and having him sentenced to death?
It just goes to show that they’re both flawed; plain and simple.
@robertrowley4929 not just flawed malicious, but at that point in time te episode where Krabs bullied Plankton, it's hard to sympathize with Plankton as he tried to have Krabs killed especially in the movie which happened prior to that episode.

@robertrowley4929 at least Mr. Krabs is a really respected person for the right reasons. Even though he's a cheapskate, he and SpongeBob do have a father-son relationship as SpongeBob is the only living soul that Mr. Krabs trusts, even with the Krabby Patty formula. And even though Mr. Krabs is a crook, SpongeBob does look up to him for his positive traits. Mr. Krabs is at least redeemable at times, compared to Plankton.

That relationship didn’t have enough depth or prominence to qualify for this list. But I’d say it’s low healthy, given Squidward doesn’t mind Sandy, although Sandy got annoyed with Squidward in the episode Patrick The Game.

Well In the Earlier Seasons Patrick was a Lovable Oaf (Like Ed From Ed Edd n Eddy) Nowadays He's Just a Selfish Idiot. Sometimes I wish SpongeBob Would Say The Same thing Herb Kazazz Said in Bojack Horseman Episode "The Telescope." To put it Simply, SpongeBob Chews Patrick Out For His Selfishness Along with Mr. Krabs.

@@Koopalingfan yes, but that doesn’t erase the fact that Patrick was still an unbearable prick back then. Him “being a jerk in later seasons” wasn’t new at all. The crew at the time screwed up by continuing that trend instead of ending it. The original crew are to blame here.

I think you forgot a few important ones. like Squidward and Krabs or the flying dutchman and... anyone really, or Patrick and Gary. More could have some screen time here.
