Hear me out... If you find a rubber type liner spray the back side of your fiberglass kit panels. We used rhino liner on the back of a customers kit and it made it like a kbd kit. Took impacts and flexed but if it cracked it all stayed together and made it so easy to fix.

Try some 3M Body Shutz, it's a rubberized undercoating...

Yo dawgs, spray some onto some paper and flex it later when it dries. Surprsingly flexes well. It is two part urethane, it's meant to flex.

Bullyliner is where it's at boys! Not as glossy but super easy application and was crazy durable on our old 4x4 build
Its called lizard skin it made in Texas it's flexible and tough as shit people use for there mudd trucks
If you jack up on the area of the pinch weld that the manufacture tells you to use, it's fine. Can also use a hockey puck with a slit cut in it to help protect it.

Pro tip for spraying bed liner. You do long consistent passes and come back and flick the gun when you just pop the trigger really quick and it creates the texture
Jimmy they sell tintable raptor liner that u can add color to its the sickest I self etched under my GSR 97 hatch then raptor lined it purple with black wheel wells to match the body that stuff is amazing and it's also a sick touch. Gotta cherish them clean rust free northeast chassis 🤘🏻🤘🏻 (I'm from NY lml)

U-POL is the company that makes Raptor Liner. They offer more products under their main U-POL name and other brand names. Gravitex Plus is their underbody coating. Tiger Seal is their panel bond/seam sealer. They also make a Rubberized Undercoating under the Raptor name.

Warm up a bottle of raptor by standing it in some hot water and spray it through a regular primer gun with a 2mm tip - its a cheat code for engine bays! comes out MINT

Let me put you guys on something. If you want a very interesting, nice gloss black paint job on anything. SEM trim black with clear over it... trust me, try it on something small and it'll go crazy

Not sure if you guys in the states have a product called Bully Linner we use it in Australia, very similar to Raptor however more flexable pretty sure its made out of old tyres, works really well and abit more FLEX!! to it.

Bro, those homade rollers under the car, couple engine stands that roate and some welding and you got a rotisserie
if u want a little more shine to the bay try imron transport series single stage paint- we use in on boats all the time- super easy to blend and repair and its pretty tough

Jimmy or spoon, use 2k base coat thinners 10% per bottle, to thin it down. Becomes more flexible and doesn’t have that (bed liner look) 🤝🔥🔥🔥

We use 3M Body Shutz on our Porsche builds. It's definitely flexible as it's a rubberized coating.
Black is one of the hardest colors to have under your engine bay.. because it's hard to see any cracking. And it's really hard to see where any oil may be coming from or any fluids.

I FRFR appreciate this video cuz Im at the sammmmmme spot on my JZA80 Supra and was about to pull the trigger on some good Herculiner (Seemed very impact resistant 🤷 after watching dude torture test all the bed coatings, w pellet guns n such) but glad I didnt! Im going the Raptor Route! 😁👌
It’s recommended not to use etch primer before seem sealer because of the acidity in the etch could affect the adherence of the seam seal . Use epoxy sealer before seem sealer.

Also my daily driver has had about the same amount of rust as that "shitbox" did before, minus the frame rail hole, for 3 years. I drive that bitch like a rally car trying to crack the firewall/wheel well along it's rusty seam and she won't let go. Just thinking about all that over spray on the other cars 😭🙈. My friends and I did a few cars with the raptor lining. And didn’t think about the over spray.. it was a pain getting that off the cars once it dried(with out destroying the paint while removing it). Live and learn tho lol
