When Steve Morris wants you yo build a chassis for his wifes car you know you've made it to the top of your field, congrats Kevin.
The Valmaro, another 6 second car with Val in the seat, will be amazing!
Kevin = Quality, Safety, Fast.
Every one of your vids has dozens of little tricks that I assume took you decades to work out/learn from others. Thanks so much for saving us all that time and sharing it all with us for free. There is nothing like watching a master at their craft.
I appreciate that!
It's really what makes this channel so amazing. It's the same rean Dave Chappelles "Dirt head Shed" is so great as well, but KSR is next level perfection
it's the only way to progress on others knowledge
Use Delrin or UHMW skid plates on the front of the K member. Recess bolts. Save that frame.
Teamwork makes the dream work.
Ksr chassis and Steve Morris engines I can't wait for this build to finish.
So stoked for this.
I love mullet be he need weight loss.
I love Leroy but Texas speed engines can't hold up to cleevises abuse.
I say give leriay that body kit and a smx big block and a tltrans like Mc slurry has.
And retire Mc slurry.
Bring back soccer mom. Yah baby.
But can't wait to see the Buick run some number too., I mean the cutlass.
Always lived a cutlass. My aunt had a 73 she drove fro 15 years.
Anyone here see. What Billy hiskinsons nova Did in testing? Last weekend?
. Smoking.
But they only rilun 1/8 mile cars. I love 1320 cars.
You and Dennis Taylor (Alex Taylor's dad) are outstanding chassis builders. Awesome attention to details. You both are my favorites to watch for builds
Glad you like them!
Of all the channels one could watch about building racecars, this is the absolute best. The attention to detail Kevin and crew put into everything is unmatched. I love watching tubing and sheet steel being formed into a top notch racer, and the engine builds are near surgical. You can bet on KSR and never be wrong. Kevin, you've assembled a great business with an awesome crew. I learn a lot from this channel, and love every second of it.
Oh ya! An awesome build!!!
Love the show. Excited to watch both the Camaro and Cutlass build. Also it looks like Cleetus needs a new 6 second car too.
You had better believe that his next goal is something that will run 5s!
KSR + SME = Awesomeness.
Always fantastic work. Love this build like all under the KSR umbrella.
Cant Wait to See VAL Breaking records in a KSR Built Bully
What a great project. Just like Mullet.
Can’t wait to see that bad ass Hotrod hit the track!!
Kevin, throw some ‘earl’ on that stool!! 😂 Great explanation for the spool rear end.
Eddi is great, He would be fun to hang out with. Good dude.
haha Kevin with the great advice " always try to keep your wheels attached to your car " love the content
Between you, Steve Morris and Cleetus, you guys are my go to for drag stuff, I'll call you the three Amigos 😅😊👍. Keep up the great work 🇦🇺😊
The key here is building a quick change system for Steve's motors.😅
The level of quality on your builds is up and off the charts.
Attention to detail with no sacrificing function is amazing !!
James
So much to do and each item on the list is a serious task. No problem for KSR, but that's still quite a bit of work 😯
Guna be one very wicked cool camaro thanks Kevin hope you guys have a great weekend ok later 🔥🇺🇸💪🏼🙏❤️
On 9in style rear end you have to break the very end of the axle right behind flange where wheel bolts to loose a wheel . You break a non floater 9inch axle in the center your wheel isn’t supposed to fall off .
You made me laugh
" wheels are to stay on the vehicle," lol
The diff is nice for sure for camaro bulid.
It's just amazing what it takes to bulid a safe race car.
Be safe, team.
The SML in the shop is a good idea. ;)
What an awesome car this will be. A car built by KSR, powered by a Steve Morris engine and driven by Val, WIN WIN Win!!
Killer!
You been killing it brotha lets go KSR
Holly heck most likely two videos a week on two nice cars. Thank you for the video.
Beautiful work. It's like art. Keep up the good work.
I have built a couple custom chassis, for streetcars/ hot rods. Nothing this nice.!!!
Kevin is exactly right,
You must think 100 steps ahead of what you are doing at the moment.
So everything works when you are done.
Very !! Very!!!
Nice work guys!!
Beautiful build!!!
It's now the Kevin/Eddie Show...Great content...Always nice to see you give a jab to Drew, Sorry Eddie your turn in the barrel...LOL
Hey Eddie, Drew went from begging for a job, even having videos where he’s asking people to recommend him to KSR, after learning what was going on around him at KSR, having NASCAR come to him to work for them. Learn everything you can, you never know who’s watching!
You never want to 'hard test' a cage, but you absolutely want your cage builder with this at the front of their mind every day. At the end of the day, all that cleverness and elegance has a very serious responsibility. Love your work, mate.
This Car is Crazy Cool, Wow.
Imagine if Kevin and Kindig built a car. It would be the most detailed perfectly built vehicle in the world. Lol. Just the tech in Kevin's chassises is incredible.
Steve Morris power keven smith chassis cant get better than that
Your a true craftsman Kevin.
A video in the middle of the week!?!? Lets goooo!!!! You rock dude!!
Loving that this is getting built, cleetus is going to build something better for mullet and Finnegan is building a sweet lexus! Going to be some super cool CZcams drag racing 😎
That model Camaro is definitely growing on me.. thanks for the video kevin keep'em comin brother
That will be a great D & D car.
I really like the way you think. Great teaching videos for guys like me.
Very slick design Kevin!
That's some nice work. Alot of time to fab all the tubing & looks great. Welded nuts are awesome too.
BTW: Thank you using your hand tool installing the axle cap.
Can't wait to see that beauty roll out.
this is the collab that didn't expect but really needed. play ksr chassis build with a Steve Morris billet SML. this is going to be a great video series
Loving this video Kevin watching from Australia 🇦🇺
Greetings from Germany again :) ...just got off work and enjoying a new KSR video with a nice cold snack! Life is good
Same here in Sweden 😎
NHRA mandates full floater at 6:50 or 210 MPH just to refresh your memory Kevin.
I’m surprised as busy as you are that you don’t hire another guy, I think Steve Morris has an extra guy helping out occasionally and somebody said he knew a little bit about Camaros. I think his name is Clark and he’d probably be pretty handy to have around!
Good Gumby skills on the welding
I do appreciate your dedication to failure analysis. That makes for a good manufacturer.
Looking forward to seeing you at Cletus and Cars in Indy!
Hey Kevin.I think you do the most absolutely amazing work in building these chasses just like you did with mullet
That's the first time I saw Si Bronze used in one of your builds. I've used it in fabrication too and it's TOUGH. I lost a few months of your videos while my head was in another place and it's good to be back watching you do stuff I wish I could. Cheers.
Good content and thanks 👍🔧
Tracking great on the Camaro - can't wait to see it roll out of your shop on the way to Steve's for the horsepower treatment. Good Stuff Kevin.
So many great builds going on....
I love it when you explain the advantages of having a floater housing in case your 40 spline axel breaks and you say, "if you guys didn't know it's always good to have your wheels attached to your car...that's today's Tech tip for everybody..." Great video and thanks for taking us along for the ride.
Such an incredible attention to detail! This build is gonna be EPIC 👍
live it up and enjoy it eddy, i was like that 20 years ago. i loved being around the stuff we were building. that shop isnt around anymore
Kevin that is some of the cleanest TIG brazing I've seen, and that is a lot of it, too!
This is cool
I am loving it !
I like watching you build stuff for me. It is different from this side of the camera😂😂
Awesome content! Gonna be a killer ride for the Morris family!! Love your attention to detail and always safety first!! The fun you and your crew have with each other makes the day go by faster...always a plus in the work place!! Keep up the great work and content!
Kevin, Keep up the GREAT Work!!!
I absolutely love 5th gens, this is an awesome build.
There is always the safety factor. Once you reach a certain speed no one can guarantee anything. Now is the time for prayer and knowing that the chassis is the best possible. Fantastic KSR
I wish I had your talent.
Awesome video! Great to follow the Cutlass build as well
Awesome video! Fun to watch the Cutlass build too
loving all the build content.
thanks for sharing ur knowledge kevin always love learning from the master himself
You do great work Kevin. I knew Steve way back in the early 90's when he first started out. He's always been a knowledgeable guy. I grew up there. I'm 51, and if I remember, Steve is right about the same age as me. He rode in the 78' Cutlass I told you I had on the video you put up yesterday. Small world 🌎
Good stuff Kevin!
Hey Kevin you Really ought to have Steve send you a SML so you can make sure your Fabrications work with it ;-) ;-)
Good idea!
Wouldn’t an LS work I thought that was the point of the sml ? I know it’s not a copy but meant to fit where an ls goes
@@peterad1529yes the SML is the same size as an LS but I’m sure the cooling system and oiling system are more complex
The SNL is the same exact size and has the same mounting points of a LS. The only reason I can see KSR needing a SML for is if he is going to do the install and do plumbing/wiring of the car
Head bolts pattern and dry deck@@thomasvittetoe1930
Good job Kevin Steve knows quality when he sees it
Awesome job guys Aloha from Hawaii 🤙🏽🌴😎
STEVE needs a sticker that reminds him to ARM THE CHUTES!
Kevin love the builds and please keep the tech tips coming
Kevin you do amazing work buddy great job thanks for the bad ass content
Its going great !
I've been watching you a long time and never knew you had a partner. I didn't much think you need one unless he's a money guy who can front you money from time to time to help carry the extraordinary expenses while building the cars. I've never been a big fan of partnerships but good luck to your endeavor. Can't wait until Steve and Val run that car.
He came on a few years ago and handles all of the paperwork side of things. That stuff nearly put me out of business 3-4 years ago.
I did see Eddy help with the k member. i have a Jason in my shop he's my Eddy.
😂😂
Fun Fact Every Road Tractor or heavy truck has been running that style rear end for years. Except you gotta pull 8 bolts instead of 3 bolts. The hubs are on the spindle of the axle housing
kevin does some damn good work
You caught Eddie working. Don't ruin his reputation. Lol.
Kevin you sure build a quality car. It's the little details that make it so much better.
Other then mullet this will be one of the only ksr cars with a sme it ought to be really fast
We're Hiring! Drop on by with your CV.
Man, that's a nice k member.
Steve and Val's Camero is going to be a gorgeous and very well built car thanks to your expert knowledge and workmanship! Great video Kevin.
It's like the opposite of an OEM. Instead of muttering curse words under your breath every time you go to take something off and realize you need to take 3 other things off first, you get to see what it's like if a car is built to be serviceable
@Kevinsmith your work is amazing super talented an attention to detail your humor lol i would feel super proud ro bw building cae for Steve Morris respect
Wow, that Camaro is going to be crazy ‼️ impressive work as usual Kevin & KSR crew!
Appreciated and enjoyed the walkaround
👍
That rear axle cost more than I paid for me bus 😂 but it has a full floater from factory 😅 Steve & Val gonna have one nice Ride 👍 KSR building persons😉 Dreams ☮️
Looking like Garrett is going to build a new car. Mullet has reached its limit. You in on that Kevin?
I can neither confirm or deny my involvement........
I love these long videos, the detail and the description of everything involved is incredible!
I swear me and Eddie would get into a lot of shenanigans 😂 but I’d stay till at least 7-8!!
Thx Kevin for the update
It's definitely a good idea to keep the tire on the car. I seen what happened at my local oval track back in the '80s. There was an accident. A rear tire came off. Went over the fence. Injured five people killed one. That was a sad day .That's something that sticks with you.
Cool stuff. Enjoyed watching ✌️ 😎
Love all the updates keep them coming
