4:10 I often found facial expressions to be one of Odyssey's biggest downsides. But that seen of Alexios in tears, silently kissing his baby son before they separate, that feels too real. Got me very emotional.
Scene*
The first wielder of the hidden blade is a npc character ok...
What is it with this npc thing?
@@marijnvdbeemd bot/cpu character
@@marijnvdbeemdit stands for None playable character it’s true though we never got to play as Darius
If we made a game surrounding Darius that would have a shorter storyline and be a smaller game than Mirage is.
@@RaixsOreh dunno what makes u thing like that lol
I love this!
The pyramids were already built by the time odyssey takes place. They messed up on the that.
They were 2000 years already by that time
@@lanusax I know so historically accurate my ass
@@manny123957 this game had you fight a gorgon a Minotaur a number of of the fictional creatures had a magic spear that allows the user to teleport to the location it lands and can only be used by a specific group of people and requires rare almost magical metals to upgrade it and yet the historical accuracy that you have a problem with is the pyramids not being built yet?
Which is understandable. The fantastical artifacts etcetera are part of the creative material of the game. AC's DNA is historical content used as context, with a large proportion of creative liberty for the scenarios. The pyramids and their anachronism aren't made necessary by anything in the game : it's just inaccuracy.
@@zambekiller yes because assassin creed is usually spot on with history.
👏
I don’t count anything after Origins as Canon. Hell, I may be being too generous. Black Flag is probably where I should draw the line.
To bad it is Canon and there's no sign of the franchise returning to its roots
@@tubbyman771 : On the upside, it’s likely Ubisoft could go the way that Disney’s going(on their way to bankruptcy. Even Black rock and Vanguard are pissed), and be bought by a company or individual that wants to restore AC to its original glory(and wants to retcon the bad games). It’s a dream now, but hey, you never know.
@DaLink25 let's hope for that lol
No one gives a shit what you count as canon. It is canon, these games rocked and whiny haters like you can sit and cry while the rest of us enjoy them.
What??so Bayek Wife was Alexios/Cassandra Daughter????OMG
Great great great granddaughter I think
I hope will continue the story of Kassandra or alexion in Egypt ich hoffe
this game should have been called "ODYSSEY" an assassins creed story. to call it a mainline ac title was misleading and because of the bad naming lead to hate.
odyssey is probably the best GAME in the ac series but the least ASSASSINS CREED game at the same time.
but that grind was abominable however. next playthrough id use mods to flatten the curve
Ubisoft cheap marketing strategy they gutted the entire Assassin's Creed series with bioware esque live service and put the Assassin's creed title to sell it to fans
Good idea about using mods to flatten the curve I may do that cause I didn't have time to complete the grind I missed all this
this game blew. ur taste in video games is terrible.
@@fugtugsughug1020emmm a game that is famous doesn’t make it better as well
so Bayek is Elpidios?
No
Elpidios is the great-great-great-great-great-grandfather of Aya, she’s part Greek and Persian aswell as Egyptian
@@Menno0183 So Aya is actually the descendant of Kassandra and not Darius. Heck, Kassandra lived for so many years. He could have went to Egypt and meet Aya(her descendant)
@@sadmankhan9630 you know Darius is Elpidios’s grandfather, right?
Alexios or Kassandra falls in love with Neema or Natakas (Darius’ daughter or son) and they get Elpidios.
So yes, he is also a descendant of Darius.
I think the line ended with Aya, because her son with Bayek was killed by some Order of the Ancients people as a child, and afterwards, Aya and Bayek were too busy with getting revenge and setting up the Assassins guild to have a serious relationship
Bayek remained in Egypt while Aya went to Rome, but the two of them eventually got mummified and buried together after death
This scene is SO MUCH BETTER as Kassandra. Actually, most of the entire game is better playing as Kassandra (if you are looking for more feelings) so that leaves most guy gamers out. 😂. If you never get emotional playing this game, then you probably don’t like it. 🤷♀️
Respectfully I disagree.
I don’t get all the hate for Alexios, he has so many great moments where you can really feel his emotion!
Actually he does a lot of scenes better than Kassandra in my opinion.
One of my personal favorite scenes as an example (not really a heavy emotional one but more of a funny one) is that scene on Kephallonia with the cyclops, it’s so much funnier with Alexios, the delivery of his lines were absolutely perfect there!
I think because everyone expects Alexios to show less emotion than Kassandra and be a “worse” VA it gets easily overlooked how emotional he actually can be, for some reason the sad moments hit even harder with him because of that (that Phoibe scene was heartbreaking) but that’s just my take on it.
Alexios’ voice acting is just as good in the majority of scenes if not better. They have two different styles pretty much, Alexios is more charismatic while Kassandra is more emotional but they both do really well in the sad scenes. Also I hate to bring this up but he is the historically accurate choice. Underrated in my opinion
@ friendlyfemme2313
Guy here, and I always prefer female Shepard to male. It’s all about the voice work. Same here.
@@domanskikid You are one of the limited players that do but it certainly is nice to hear. ☺️
in the novelization though, it was confirmed that the canon misthios was actually Kassandra
and she would go on to meet Eivor and help her with securing an artifact
