    Took the hero 50cc for a wee ride around town as its nice and quiet at night. It was windy though, you can tell the bike getting held back at some points, especially hills of course !

    Close my eyes and it sounds half a Ducati 916 😆 without the engine braking thunderous BOOM 👍
    On the throttle though she sounds sweet

      I was surprised how loud it is for a standard bike. Just as well it’s a nice noise ! Think I’ll take it out a ride today actually, it’s been a while! Been tinkering with my rieju

    Nice video as usual! I’m considering getting a 2 stroke rn! There a Aprilia sx 50cc close to me. I have heard that they are good and fast 50cc😀

      Yeah the 2 strokes are a lot faster for sure. My rieju rs3 is much faster than the bullit.

    Hi Rory, do you know where to get jets for the carburettor? Mine bogs and dies if the throttle is pulled to quick. Still rideable just annoying. Thanks

      Most places that sell pitbike parts will have them as they are pitbike type carbs. I used an 80 main jet

    I had checked the bike on the reviews and decided that this might be a good starter bile for my 16 year old son. They don't seem to have any dealers in Scotland and the Irish distributor said they had given up their dealership because the bikes were unreliable and very poor quality with the wiring although the engine was decent everything else was poor. Any comments back on this and what support you can get??

    • @nitrorory
      @nitrorory  Před rokem +1

      I basically look after my bikes myself , I’ll never use a dealer. I’ve not had any problems with the bullit at all so far , I bought it used and probably done about 500 miles on it. I only use it in dry weather which helps.

    Hello Nitro! I have to do a oil change on my Bullit! What kind of oil do i use?

    • @nitrorory
      @nitrorory  Před 2 lety

      The manual says 15w40 but that other viscosities can be used depending on local temps. I’m going to use 10w40, usually a good all rounder. Make sure it’s motorbike oil for wet clutches.

    Nice little run, I didn't even know they did these in a 50! So do you have your full licence?

    • @nitrorory
      @nitrorory  Před 2 lety +1

      Yes it’s a big bike for a 50 , their main market is of course in Europe. Lots of teenage kids riding moped class there. Nope no full license , so you won’t see me on a 1200cc any time soon 😂

    Having some trouble with my bullet can't have the choke all the way off otherwise it stutters and then stalls have you got any advice

    • @nitrorory
      @nitrorory  Před 2 lety +2

      You might need to adjust the idle mixture on the carb. It’s the screw which is sunk in a little, the idle speed is beside it. You might need to richen it a bit if you need choke to keep it running , so turn the screw 1/8th of a turn in and see if it helps.

    What sacrifices to you have to take with getting a 2 stroke compared to a 4 stroke?

    • @nitrorory
      @nitrorory  Před 2 lety

      2 stroke uses a bit more fuel , and the cylinder and pistons wear out a bit more quickly but the top end is very easy to change. Still lasts for a good few thousand miles.
      Upside is a lot more power when you’re in the power band … they don’t have the low down torque a 4 stroke has so you need to keep the revs up more really.
      To be honest 2 stroke can be more of a rush as you come into powerband and you get that power all at once
