My wee 1965 Honda 50cc done 45 mph, it was my first road bike. This was in 1972, my mates dad bought him a brand spanking new one and his done 50 mph, but for some reason he liked my old one better, and we always swapped bikes. Our mates used to laugh at us for only having a 50 ,but we had the last laugh at their expense when we passed them standing at the bus stop waiting for the bus while we gave them the v sign and laughed at them, cause we were on our way to Portrush from Belfast with our girlfriend's on the back, with a "promise " when we got to Portrush. Oooooh yeeeeeah man. I loved my wee Honda 50
Oh btw, why are the 50s of today so slow.

Those manufacturers will be making plenty of 250cc machines for other markets, especially Asian markets where a 250 is classed as a large capacity machine. In the early 1980's the British government lowered the learner limit from 250cc to 125cc, that almost killed the 250cc market here. It has never really recovered since, 250's just aren't popular in the UK anymore.

@@davidmacgregor5193 that's not good because there are a lot of older riders that find a 125cc to weak and a 500cc unnecessary power that is not needed, that's where the 250 is perfect.

Hey fellas. Nice video. I just bought the Hero 125. I'm a motorcycle noob with a couple of questions. Pardon me if they seem daft but what is the right-hand switch for on the bar? I don't mean the kill switch, I mean the black one below. Also what are the optimal tyre pressures for front and rear? I have the handbook but it reads like a Chinese porn script. Not good English. It lists pressures in kPa not psi. It says front 225 kpa and rear 280. So 30 and 40 psi respectively? I'd be grateful for a reply, thanks.
