  • Bullit hero 50 test at 300 miles and deresrticted
    Today we had a bullet hero 50cc in for its first service at 300 miles and the customer wanted us to derestrict the bike at the same time so I had the chance to do a short video on how it performs now it has had the restriction removed and it is a different bike when restricted this bike will go 32 mph but when you remove the restriction it will go between 45 and 47 mph this is a lot safer in my opinion

    Does destriction give any more bottom end and faster pull away with more torque or just remove a speed limiter? Looking for my daughter. in my opinion peds are safer when they can pull away and join traffic quickly top speeds just a nice to have

    • @Ridingreviews
      @Ridingreviews  Před 2 měsíci +1

      depends on the bike but what you usually can do is derestrict the bike and then drop 1 tooth on the front sprocket this will give a bit more toque and a bit more speed

      Thanks for the tuto, that's perfect. Max speed is now 62kph (instead of 50kph here). The engine seems a little bit stronger too. I did not cut the wire, instead unplugged the metal connector with a very small flat screwdriver. So the change is revertable should the bike has to be sold. I unplugged the white wire on the facing connector, it's easier than on the female one on the pink side.

      @@Ridingreviews nah the tank is back and I sealed back the bag around the connections. Basically, the idea is to remove the metal connector on the opposite side of the dial wiring harness. On my bike, the wire facing the pink one is whiteish. Then I used heat shrinkable tube to make this neat. I promise to take a picture next time I remove the tank.
