- Marriage Pact were a vital part of politics for House Targaryen, but for King Aegon V Targaryen thanks to his willfull children they became more of a headache than an good thing. Duncan, Jaehaerys and Shaera had all broken there marriage pacts, not it was the turn of his youngest son Prince Daeron to break his own with the young Olenna Redwyne. But the broken pact was much more complicated than that of his siblings, as Daeron did not break it for love or another woman, an in fact remained unmarried for the rest of his short life.

Nobody can ever talk bad about Olenna to me I love the way she thinks & move. The Tyrells in the first two books were in open rebellion with LittleFinger of course end marrying into the Royal Family then she seen Joffery in action got him out of here at his own wedding then had Margery married to Tommen. That old lady is a force to be reckoned with I know she didn’t plan everything on her own but to have your granddaughter brand new husband murdered on their wedding day so she can marry the younger more gentle brother who you’re family can control is somebody I don’t want to cross

It's crazier when you read the books and Barristan Selmy implies that Daeron actually did get married to someone despite his heavily implied relationship with Ser Jeremy Norridge.
I think an interesting series of videos to see would be outlining and exploring the different princesses of the books main series. So much iconography is focused on the kings, but i do think there should be some more in depth focus on the queens and princesses as well. Granted you have already gone over many of them in other videos, so it would be hard to make the series feel different. Still tho, an interesting idea i wanted to share
Looks like the Daeron is bad luck for the Targaryans, Daeron the Daring - died in the Dance, Daeron the young dragon - unmarried and died in Dorne, Daeron the good - cause for the Blackfyre Rebellion, Daeron the drunken - died of pox, Rhaella lost a child named DAERON, wouldn't it be funny if Jon Snows name is Daeron and is fated to be a kinslayer

Jeez it seem every Aegon after the conqueror seem to have some conflict in their reign.
