- When you look back at the history of Westeros with the power of hindsight the impact the common born girl Jenny Of Oldstones had can't be downplayed. Her marriage to Prince Duncan Targaryen the eldest son and heir of King Aegon V not only caused an uprising and a long list of political issues for the king, but set an example for King Aegon's other sons. When Jenny was allowed to come to court her friend, a wise woman known as the ghost of high heart would give Prince Jaehaerys as prophesy that would forever change the fate of Westeros and House Targaryen.

Barristan Selmy: The Prince of loved Jenny of Oldstones so much he cast a crown, and Westeros paid the price in corpses
Jennyusy is so elite she had a Targaryen prince renounce his inheritance to be with her .
Jenny
I like how Aegon V's sons all had uncommon relationships for the Targaryens at that point in time:
Duncan married a common girl and gave up his claim to the throne.
Jaehaerys II returned to Targaryen incest which when I thought about it hadn't happened in the direct line of succession for generations. Previously, Aegon V, Maekar I, and Daeron II all married non Targaryen women.
And lastly Daeron was rumored to be gay which was also unique with the Targaryens and died with his lover
« The laughing Storm » is and will forever be, the coolest nickname.
“High in the halls of the kings who are gone, Jenny would dance with Her ghosts”
- Jenny of old stones the song I heard for the first time when Podric sings it at Winterfell..
Love that song that song & The Rains Of castamere by Serj Tankian from System Of A Down.
I’ve wanted to know the story behind this woman..
Didn’t Rhaegar sing a song about her at the Great Tourney at Harrenhall?
This is a video I’ve been waiting for !!
Lord commander I see you!!
Get us some wine for the brother bittersteel!!
Not just any ghost. *Her* ghosts. The ones she had found, and the ones she had lost, and the ones who had loved her the most.
@@RapaxGuardianand she never wanted to leave.
Never wanted to leave.
And she never wanted to leave..

The Prince of Dragonflies
If only Duncan the Tall had been able to give his namesake a few clouts in the ear. Imagine going into combat against a man who helped save your life because the son of your friend and sworn king had selfishly insulted him. Also let’s not forget poor Rhaelle-while it seems the marriage turned out well enough she was plucked from her home and sent off to the home of a proud man who had just rebelled against her family.
This is a big mistake. Aegon Targaryan should have killed the Baratheons and should not have allowed his daughter to marry a traitor. If Aegon 5 had killed the Baratheons, Robert would not have killed Rhaegar.
@@user-uf9lz5wz4n if he had massacred the Baratheons it would’ve been almost as bad as Aerys II killing the Starks. Lyonel agreed to single combat to settle the rebellion after minimal bloodshed. He could’ve executed Lyonel and reduced the Baratheons power by forcing Ormund to implement his reforms, and maybe that would’ve been smarter but wiping out the house would’ve led to chaos.
Remember hearing this song and being like Oh snap, s8 will be epic. Followed by S8 being epic for the wrong reason
Jenny of oldstones Tis a beautiful but tragic story!
High in the halls of the kings who are gone
Jenny would dance with her ghosts
The ones who'd been gone for so very long
She couldn't remember their names
They spun her around on the damp old stones
Spun away all her sorrow and pain
And she never wanted to leave
Never wanted to leave, never wanted to leave
They danced trough the day and into the night
Trough the snow that swept through the hall
From winter to summer to winter again
'Til the walls dud crumble and fall
And she never wanted to leave never wanted to leave, never wanted to leave, never wanted to leave
And she never wanted to leave, never wanted to leave, never wanted to leave, never wanted to leave, never wanted to leave
High in the halls of the kings who are gone
Jenny would dance with her ghosts
The ones she had lost and the ones she had found
And the ones
Who had loved her the most
Lovely retelling your grace.

1st to take the Black for House Blackfyre🗡
Happy Blackfyre Friday.
Finally got signal, tragic love story.
I'd be very interested to see this part of Targaryen history in HOTD. I pity Aegon the Unlikely since his 5 children resulted in 4 broken betrothals. Yes, Egg chose love himself but he wasn't in line for the throne then. He tried to take his brother Aemon's advice to "kill the boy and let the man be born" once he became king but that failed miserably
i do think a lot of the issues he faced as king was down to the very fact he was never expected to be king and thus didn't have the preparation others heirs did. Maybe if Maekar had lived longer things may have played out differently.
Aegon 5's biggest mistake was not executing the Baratheons.
First to take the Black 🖤
Lord commander, i hear the black Cells are getting full at the capital, shall we head there ? We need new recruits for the watch!!

You know who else wore flowers in their hair? The first Reek.
Wonder what happened to Jenny after the tragedy of Summerhall abd the death of her husband?
She probably died there with Duncan
She's very likely dead. Her friend the Ghost of High Heart manage to return to the Riverlands and still cry whenever she listen to Jenny's song.
It might look like a love story on the surface-but LOOK at what this marriage does to the targaryens specifically and the world in general.
Winterfell!!!!!!!!!
Valar Morghulis! How are you wonderful Twisted people doing today??
I think Barristan actually defeated Duncan the Tall not the small at the Winter Tourney. Makes sense given Duncan is notorious for losing jousts.
Did Jenny and Duncan’s line end with them or did they have children?
Edward VIII of the targaryn dynasty.
1st to 🎶Take it on the run, baby. If that's the way you want it baby...🎶
Prince Duncan=Joseph Gordon Levitt
