"My favourite actor to work with was Rose Leslie."
Yeah we know, Kit. We know.
Geee what!? I never would have guessed
@@-Cheif It's because they're married in real life! I was hoping he would say that the Old Bear was his best partner, but he went for the waifu
If I was Kit I would merry Rose........uhhhh.........oh really? ........nice :)
Not surprising, really, her real accent is so attractive.
Kit had an awesome chemistry with John Bradley through the entire season... yet Kit vouched for the redhead he boinked and married...
Kit Harrington: "For some reason, I really liked working with my wife. there was something special there."
Guy really said "I think we had a good chemistry" about the woman he married.
Could have been before they got married
It's the ginger
Would you rather he said emilia Clarke? Yeah that would go smoothly for him at home
@@judigemini178 Why would he say that? By the time his character met hers, they were deep into "shit writing" territory.
Kit Harrington - "My favourite actor to work with was Rose Leslie." He was so fond of working with her that he married her.. 😃
Kit: "We really had a great chemistry together I think". You think? 🧔♀👰👩❤💋👨💒
Was hoping to see her return the favor.
I think there may have been questions when he got home if he had said someone else🙂

How interesting that everyone picked one scene partner, except the three lannisters which each listed a whole mess of people.

@TheDrexxus
Can we take a minute to appreciate how sweet and kinda quirky Lena always is, while Cersei is spiteful, hateful and haughty? A great actress she really is, just give her all the awards already.
Exactly my thoughts, quirky is a good word but in a great/endearing way. Makes her character in the show even more impressive.
Also, props to her for mentioning Jake Gleeson. That boy needs a support for sure

.........someone is.
Rory once compared Sandor's journey with Arya to Scooby and Scrappy Doo going on a road trip and leaving corpses in their wake.
(Apparently, Scooby-Doo has been popular in Scotland for years.)
Their characters had one of the best dynamics in the show
@@urthboundmisfit as someone who has lived in Scotland, I can vouch for the popularity of Scooby Doo

Ian Glenn's voice is so light and cheery, whereas Jorah's is gravelly and deep. What a phenomenal transformation and actor.
OMG I NEVER REALIZED THATS HIM IN TOMB RAIDER!!!❤
@@Zuxiasunicornyes! Love him in that!
Both actor and character have incredible voices.
Yeah I had no idea that was his real voice
He has the same in Kingdom of Heaven etc. he's such a great actor for these kinda era things. Always happy to see him
Love how emotional Liam got talking about Shereen, her character is so damn tragic
Liam is a damn fine actor but he is also a great person 😊
Same. Its why sir davos might be my favorite character. Hes the only character that was never ruined as well lol unlike tyrion and to a less extent aria
I'll always love aria for exterminating the freys
That episode when they burn her are the most sad scene in the whole series, that scream she produces feels so real.
I did u tok he said she was like a wife to him, I found that weird because I never got that from their characters lmbo
@@ashiaturner3038 Well, in the way she teaches ser davos and how he responds, yes. They are a little like a couple in that aspect compared to a father daughter relationship. Because he doesn't have authority over her like a father or older family member would, but she treats him like a very close loved one. And also it is the chemistry between them since she is very educated and book smart, but ser davos is not very educated or book smart but knows the world, knows right vs wrong, and knows how people work, all thing Shereen knowns nothing about (except maybe right vs wrong, kinda).
They are kinda like opposites, and "opposites attract", they both help each other learn and become better people, and "opposites attract" is a common term used for couples.
So I understand what he means. If it was a father daughter relationship then she would not be teaching ser davos all these things or scolding him(kinda jokingly) and judging him like she does and pointing out all his flaws, and he wouldn't be taking that like he does. They are not quite a father daughter relationship, but more like a Uncle Niece relationship, and when they are together they are kinda like how a husband and wife would banter back and forth together while doing chores or having a chat together without the actual sexual part of it all.
I don't think he was being weird there.
“My favourite actor to work with was [my wife].”
Shocker.
Hahaha😂😂😂
Iain and Emilia seriously had the best on screen chemistry for sure
The hound and arya would like to have a word. Especially that last scene before the hound death really sealed it for me. The two were perfect together
I feel like The Hound and Arya had the best chemistry, Emilia and Iain are tied with Kit and Rose in my opinion. Incredible chemistry with all three pairs.
I loved every scene with Tyrion qnd Cersei
Way more than with John Snow :P
All great hoices, but honestly one of the on screen chemistrys that doesn't get enough credit, the scenes between the 2 brothers Tyrion and Jaime. Especially those prison scenes, like you really felt the brotherly love in those moments, truly touching.
So basically John Bradley channeled his inexperience and uncertainty directly into his role. And as John got more confident so did Sam, brilliant.
His interview touched me the most, he spoke so well, wisely and said so many true things. He seems like such a great and interesting person. If he wants to continue in this career I hope he gets a lot more roles, because I'd really love to see more of him. Sam was a great character, the actor made him so reletable even though I have absolutely nothing in common with him.
It's insane how much respect and love Emilia and Iain have for each other.
They spent 8 years together. It would be hard not to get close to a person after all that time and work together.
What I’m struck by is how, for many of the younger actors, their favourite scene partners are older actors - that speaks to the generosity of the entire cast, that the more experienced actors gladly took the younger ones under their wing.
The other thing that I have noticed from the first time I saw her interviewed, is how full of life and mirth Emelia Clarke is :) I hope she never becomes one of those closed-off, obnoxious stars who cannot relate to her fan base after a while ... I hope she remains who she is, someone I would most accurately describe as ‘the female version of Tom Hanks’, an absolute legend and icon!
yeah but tom hanks knows he's a great actor ; )
Not to sound like a simp, but a person with a smile like hers I don’t think can even have the capacity to be mean if they wanted to
@6maniac6metal6 Wow. You’re pathetic and a prime example of what’s wrong with society.
You let someone’s inherent appearance-which they had nothing to do with and did not earn-inform your whole opinion of their character/who they are or what they’re capable of.
So if she didn’t have an attractive smile then suddenly she would be capable of being mean??
Nice superficial prejudice you’ve got going on there.
That’s like saying just because someone is white, they must be a good person..you’re basing your interpretation off immutable characteristics and a clip on CZcams.
And if anything, someone who looks like that has yet to experience the harshness of shallowness so they may very well have been treated pleasantly so they find it easy to be pleasant back. But just as easily they could be cruel and ignorant with never having lived on the other side of life, acting as a toxically positive ditz.
Fake humility is not appealing.
@@6maniac6metal6 You are very naive- there are a lot of smiling actors that are very rude, arrogant, and tret other actors very poorly!!!
Kit admitting that he liked working with the person he went onto marry is so classic him.
I really like Jamie’s answer … he really had two roles, which „mixed in the end.
Cersie‘s and Brienne‘s Version of him.
I think that describes him so well. He has his depths, but not all get to see it.
We also got to see some brotherly in him, through Tyrion
If you haven't read the books, they are worth a read just to get into Jaime's head. He grows as a person just as much in the books, if not more so.
I hated that man from the very first episode and by the time the series was over he was on my favorite characters on the show. Its brilliant
I love the hound and Arya together.
"He's been my pal. He's been ma buddy" even in the real world Ser Jorah is firmly in the friendzone
i love how maisie and rory both said their favorite scene partners were each other. they were one of the best duos from the show.
Rewatched the series again and they had such a great relationship towards the end. The hound had love and respect for arya.. He told her to not end up like him.
Everyone pretty much says they low key wish the Hound would've survived the fall and the fire to go exploring with ARYA.
We need to give props to Jack Gleeson. He is one impressive actor to pull off such a Nellie Olsen of a character as Geofrey.
We are all poorer for the massive loss to the acting world for his leaving the art, due to the ill treatment he received online.
We should start a hashtag trend for the apology he is owed. #celebratejackgleeson
Wait, he was abused because of a fictional character he played? Jfc people are rotten
@@metalswifty23 No, he wasn’t. Quite the opposite: Jack Gleeson always talks positively of the fanbase, having said he’s never had a bad experience with fans. I have absolutely no idea why people make these things up.
@@RoyKoopaling Yeah I've since read a brief comment he made on the matter last year. Said he doesn't know why, as you've said, but also doesn't plan on truly correcting people on it if it means people will stay being nice, which is understandable.
He'll be back.
He's just taking some time.
Goddamn you Geofrey!
Charles Dance (Tywin) stated that he really enjoyed working with Maisie Williams. I wonder with whom Jack Gleeson (Joffrey) enjoyed working with?
Tywin and Arya at Harrenhal was one of the greatest mini-arcs in the show. So tense and yet endearing, character building and informative, and just such brilliant acting from them both.
@@andrewnibbi It was one of those areas where they departed from the books. Arya actually ended up being Roose Bolton's page and barely saw Tywin at all, much less spoke to him.
Which is really odd, considering the Bolton marriage that was arranged later. In the show it was with Sansa, but in the books it was supposed to be Arya. If Roose had known he'd had Arya as his page...
@@urthboundmisfitI find it hard to believe Roose wouldn't recognize Arya
@@sauce6746
I don't think there's any reasons for Roose to know Arya or what she looks like.
Until they come of age and "go out in the open" to find a partner, noble children usually stay in their castles, the only people who know them and what they look like are people who work at said castle. Even Lysa Arryn, their aunt, didn't know what they looked like. The moment they go live in another castle they stay there to rule, they don't go around visiting other nobles. Even if they're family. Cat and Lysa also hadn't seen each other since they had married, for example.
Robert and his family coming to the North to request Ned's help was why you knew something really important was happening: the whole "royal" family going to visit someone else ? That's just weird.
So yeah, really no reason for Roose Bolton to know what Arya looks like. He has his own castle and land to -torment- rule over, he hasn't gone to Winterfell in probably decades.
"I can't steal her... she's a person, not a goat!"
Perfect quote to end with.
Emelia: Definitely Iain.
Iain: Definitely Emilia.
Maisie: Definitely Rory.
Rory: Definitely Maisie.
Sophie: Definitely Lena.
Lena: Probably Peter. Or Nikolaj. Maybe Charles. Or possibly Jack. And definitely Conleth.... Yep, that's it.
Sophie: ....
Well, Nikolaj had the same problem.
I love her line "they both know they hate each other, and they're both pretending to be nice to each other because there are other people around, and underneath they loathe each other." So they are women.
Lena had heavy and serious interactions with a lot of different actors for the show, whereas for people like Maisie and Sophie, they spent a major portion of their time with a pivotal actor. I think that’s why Sophie mentioned Lena, who was a huge part of the show at that time, whereas for Lena she has to recall from a lot of different actors to choose from. I think it was not done in ill will.
@@ILikeMyPrivacytbt
People like you really *love* trying to force that whole idea that women hate each other, huh. Why ? Are you trying to put women against each other to deny them the best friendships so they're all alone and easier to manipulate ?
There's something deeply rotten and twisted with people like you who keep doing stuff like that.
Women empower each other drastically when they're good friends, and that bothers way too many people for some strange reason. Your insecurity sure is showing. Maybe instead of making stuff up work on yourself so women being close friends won't feel threatening to you.
What about Peter? A few people named him and he's like "yeah, Charles is my bff"
Am I the only one who thinks that little speech of Iain Glen about Emilia was so romantic ? Thats a handsome man. Damn. If someone talked like that about me, this person could have me all the way. Mannnnn.
I think Jack Gleeson and John Bradley were by far the best in their roles and 100% consistent in every single scene. They were some of the least experienced actors on the show, and almost everyone else played their roles to perfection and these two still managed to shine. They deserve more recognition.
I did notice a good bit of inconsistency with Rory but the thing is, he's got almost no formal acting training. He took one acting seminar years ago, and everything else has been on-the-job training. On top of that, he gets very nervous during filming. You can see a big difference in his first three seasons versus from the inn fight scene onward.
What happened was that when he was going to do the episode with the inn fight scene, the director sat him down and basically said, "Quit acting. Just say the words the way Clint Eastwood would have said them."
Things got a bit easier for him after that. Though he would still catch flack when he'd go home with that bit shaven off his beard and people would go, "You look ridiculous, big man."
Jack doesn’t strike as inexperienced at all, that’s really impressive.
Emilia - Iain is my buh-dee!!!
Iain - *waxes poetic about how wonderful Emilia is*
Soooo....basically Emilia and Iain were method acting where he's in love and she's like, "Yeah, he's cool."
Ser real-life friend-zone.

HAHA! YEAH! Almost like there is 30 years difference between them! Insane right?!
Well he is married and has two kids - in that situation I wouldn't mind to be friendzoned by Emilia Clarke - she seems to be fun to hang out with regardless of any romantic layer.
Never stopped Leo, Nicholson, MLK, and your grandparants, age difference means nothing to smashing and or marrying a great man. Free lesson for you all.
@@vandalg282 Didn't say anything about age difference. In fact I disagree with people being weirded out by age difference. As long as it's two consenting adults, it's whatever. My own parents are 16 years apart. My dad got with my mom when he was 46 and she was 30. Don't understand what age has to do with love.
I know we’re joking, but I think it’s respectful of her not to speak too intimately of her closeness with the married man.
Unlike that Kit Harrington guy. Rose Leslie is a married woman and Kit is being totally unprofessional here with his brazen worship.
Dude... Ian Glen talks about Emilia Clark almost like Jorah talks about Daenerys...
Jorah was so intensely friendzoned by Daenerys that Iain Glen was friendzoned by Emilia Clarke so much that she was moved to tears

It speaks well to the cast that no matter what people think of the writing and production value of the end seasons, no one faults the actors, any of them, and we all remain fans of their excellent performances!
Do people have a problem with the final seasons in terms of production value as well? The only thing I can remember being brought up is the battle for Winterfell being so dark, but that seemed more like a creative decision.
@@perlundgren7797indeed, what people really complain about is the writing that sucked and made the actors play nonsense on screen, nevertheless they were all great actors and deserve praise for their performance.
@@perlundgren7797
Nobody does, indeed. The issue was with the writing.
The actors, actresses, the staff behind building the sets, the clothes, the music, etc., still all performed to their best. It's sad that the writers gave up on the show when everybody else was still trying and working so hard. It's very disrespectful to the rest of the staff.
Everytime I see emilia Clarke she seems like a genuinely likable person. Like it's not just how she presents herself, she actually seems like she's awesome for real. Rory Mcain: “Yarp”
I really like that they all refer to him as Charles Dance … gravitas personified
An incredible cast filled with amazing talent. What a special group of people.
I love the respect they all have for one another
The most unbelievable thing was how nice everyone's teeth were. Only Jeor Mormont ever mentioned having good teeth, because he drank his beer with lemon.
Since GOT is based on the medieval age, honestly as long as the characters don't eat too much sugar their teeth should be fine; albeit a bit tainted/ yellowish. The worst contender is probably Cersei and Tyrion, considering the amount of red wine they drink or the Wildlings
Watching this because I just saw the hotd interview earlier today
Found it somewhat surprising that no one mentioned Aiden Gillen who played Littlefinger. I felt like he played that character perfectly, just constantly radiating that conniving and calculating bad guy aura in every scene. Every one on one conversation between him and Varys or him and Tyrion was like watching an Olympic level fencing match instead of swords it was cutting remarks and showing they know what the other person doesn’t.
