Losing Deebo is going to be a rude awakening if that happens. He’s more than a WR, he’s a weapon that can take it to the house every time the ball is in his hands. The defense has to game plan for him specifically. No one in the NFL plays like Deebo💯
When he is healthy.
You can’t let a player go because he’s missed a few games. It’s the NFL, every player gets banged up. I’d rather have him on the squad! 💯
My only concern with Deebo, he doesn’t make “business decisions”. He was hurt in the SB around the same time Kittle was having health issues. He was also hurt during a couple of the losses, so as much as he is a weapon in multiple areas, he needs to be available at the most crucial of moments.

The Niners probably got burned in the Bosa negotiations by saying publicly they weren’t trading him. It’s always better to leave your options open publicly even if you’re not likely to go down a certain route, because you never know when an NFL GM is going to have an aneurysm and offer you something that is way too good to pass up.
Maybe you need to look at the numbers. Deebo had seven receiving touchdowns which is the most he's ever had and it was tied for the most on the 49ers with Ayiuk and McCaffrey. He had 12 overall touchdowns which was second most on the team. He was just short of a thousand yards receiving. He had just under 1,300 totally yards. And he was a n enormous leader to the team.

They've done a great job with this team for sure! But that whole Trey Lance fiasco really killed them. They really could've used the help that those other first rounds picks would've provided.

People get so reactionary on these trade rumors. There is exactly 1 player in the league that no team wouldn’t even pick up the phone about…Mahomes. Everyone else has a price. I love Purdy, Bosa, Deebo, Kittle, and Warner. But for the right package, all of them are tradable. The quest for 6 only has 2 more strong years before retirements, salary cap decisions, and just the need to move on will put this team in rebuild mode.
I say 2024 is the last year before they need to start rebuilding a bit, deebo prob gone after 2024 season and there will prob a be more players too since purdy will need paid hopefully they get 6 this year
Deebo is entering amrstead territory - often not healthy enough for the price tag I’d bet Deebo isn’t a niner for 2025
He are the second most touchdowns in the team, tied for the most receiving touchdowns and 1300 yd. Not to mention his really important leadership and the fact that he protects Purdy from Lynch.

Pearsall is the best route runner the niners have. He and Brock together are going to be on another level. Niners are going to be a scoring machine.

This year, definitely, especially if an extension restructure on Aiyuk actually lowers the cap hit this year, and you can carry your salary cap into next year in anticipation of Purdy’s contract.
After this year, Deebo has been paid all his guaranteed money so you can either release him next year or trade him pretty much for free if Pearsall works out, but you can also use signing bonuses and creative contract structuring and restructuring to try to keep everyone, though that will be a bigger challenge.

I mean like him or not but the fact that he's a lawyer is a feather in his cap as far as being a football analysis. That's one of the reasons I enjoy his show so much is that he tackles the NFL and its narratives from that perspective. The NFL has a constant stream of legal issues year in and year out that he is perfectly Suited to analyze and report on. Not to mention contract negotiations and the like.

Bears took less in trade value so Fields could go where he wanted. So teams to *sometimes* do right by the player.

The system is what made these guys super stars. They wasn’t super stars coming out of college or else they would went top 15 in the first round. The affect Kyle has can’t be overlooked here. Even Kittle a former 5th round pick is an all pro in this system.. Not taking away any talent from these guys but Kyle deserves more credit than he receives. Dont believe me just look at the coaches from his coaching tree that get more accolades than Kyle himself. Like DeMeco and Mike McDaniels 💯
Pearsall is not replacement for either Deebo or Aiyuk ... he is the replacement for Jennings. Samuel and Aiyuk will be around for a few more years.

Deebo had an off year in 2022 because they signed him at the last minute. Just like they did with Bosa and then he had an off year.
No reason to do anything for the Niners. They need to win with Purdy on the rookie contract or they have the blow up the team.
Pearsall will either replace Deebo or Aiyuk or POSSIBLY both. Niners are entering rams territory where they literally can’t pay everyone. Kittle is getting more expensive and Purdy is going to get a juicy deal next offseason for his performance as a young game changer

Why extent WR Jennings if getting a slot WR in draft. Niners O-line is a weakness. Ranked #20-28th. But unlike Pittsburgh who used many picks on O-line. Niners think a slot WR is the answer. It blows my mind that a league made up of billionaires has trouble paying their employees.
49ers would keep them all if there wasn't a salary cap. Look at the '80's and early 90's. Their backups could be starters. It has nothing to do with being billionaires. Pearsall had 13 receptions and 1 TD his first 2 seasons at ASU 🤦♂️ his 4th season in college football with the gators he had 33 receptions 661 yards and 5 tds 😴.. his 5th season being a 24 year old against 19 year old kids he had 960 yards and 5tds.. but he’s a first rounder because he went to Florida?? I don’t get this pick this is a Trey Lance level reach.
And Aiyuk was playing at his local community college his first two years in school.
