I always record my practice sessions and listen to them, which is absolutely necessary, I have fun listening to my recordings while picking things here and there. I work on skills, specially developing new mixing skills, yet not as structured as time limits, that's a good one... Thanks for the video!

simple tips but enlightening

practice gets even more difficult after you have kids in the picture... one way to get in a bit of extra time on the decks is to show up to gigs a bit earlier and try out some new stuff in my headphones. the bonus side, the client thinks you are extra awesome because you are prepped and ready to go, reducing the stress on their end. one other thing that increased my practice time was to buy a second dj controller so that it is always set up at my house and i don't have to "set it up", it's just ready to go when i am.

Organization of music is huge?
How do you organize your music? By genre? Year? BPM?
Set up folder and playlist by sets. Certain songs gets reactions from different types of crowds
