@LondonCityWalks I've been looking for my own information at taking photos facing the sun with a mobile phone. Anti glare looking for a filter to filter out the sun. Hope that helps.
You need a polarising filter which you can clip over the lenses of the phone camera I found both a professional filter something you may need. For me I just googled the polarising filter for Google 7 Pro Pixel. Not professional but looks like it'll work. So give it a try and see what you think..

Great job to them, as a group, they proved they can behave in a very respectful way towards the troopers (be they the gateman or the boxmen) as well as towards the horses! 👍👍👍 I was very positively impressed with them! 💯💯💯Great job to you, too, John, i think you have your significant contribution to this whole situation! The trooper on the unknown horse away from Downing Street, has the beautiful smile, and he responds to the tourists questions. Such a fine gentleman.
I actually saw that video and howled with laughter. The boxman was ticked off with the bossy britches and put her straight. I heard the whole thing. "It's my horse and I say she can touch it". Wonderful.! The second two horses are really gentle. Interested but sweet. Today was verrry interesting. I'm so grateful for your narration John. Apart from keeping us informed, you're helping the military police. They know they can rely on your filming. Well done and thank you.

Hi John, when I was in the Kings Troop there were only two ladies, now a lot more! Loved my time with Kings Troop. My friend had an accident as the lead horse got really spooked, threw him off and the he ended up under the limber with two broken arms. That was when we were practising for the Royal Tournament!! Two ladies! My how the tables have turned Graham. Apparently the King's Troop now has the highest number of ladies of any regiment in the British army and is the only female majority regiment to boot. A wonderful thing! 💪🏻

The ladies really made their presence felt , they take no prisoners 😁. I hope you make it to Horse Guards in summer to see them . I hope your friend recovered from his nasty accident .
@@kathellison8084 Unfortunately he had to leave the army as his right arm eventually had to be amputated as it was too badly damaged . We are still in contact and he is doing alright, still working with horses!!

Re the Spanish group of kids. One of them had a beard and was obviously older than the others. To me he seemed to be encouraging the younger guys to be obnoxious. Hats off to you for tackling them John. This behaviour wouldn't be tolorated in Spain I'm sure.
The police carry guns and battons they use their battens if you do not do as you are told

Bravo! to the young Guard that shows up in that CZcams short video🤩🤩 I looked that short video up and i found it. That lady was telling him something about touching the horse and he replied that he actually said she can touch the horse, no problem about that. His horse, his rules. Absolutely bri-lli-ant!🥰🥰🥰 I knew i liked him from the very first time i saw him at Horse Guards beginning of this year! He will probably become famous, with those words.😋😋😋

Looks like they have pulled the mane and forelock probably the tail too. This method thins the mane etc without cutting, it should be performed when the horse is warm.
Loved the guard telling the nosey lady that the other lady COULD touch HIS horse! 😅❤ Yes, those young men respectfully got their pictures and even kindly took a couple's pic. Well done guys..goes to show not all groups are alike😊

Thanks for emphasising the role of the MDP , so many people have no idea they are MDP and get their knickers in a twist insisting " where are the police , they do nothing , standing around talking , not protecting the Guards and the horses ?!?! " . Like you said that's not what they are there for , security on a military base and public safety ! Massive crowds yet again ,where do they come from ? A lot of foreign school trips is understandable , the teachers seemed to be on top of things today . Four settled relaxed horses , Quarterback and Majesty then the two unknowns , bad luck getting two together 😀. Maybe word is getting round , those young men were no problem at all good to see . I realize the police cannot be everywhere, just wish all the guards had a button to call the police, to deal with idiots.
Great footage! Also, a think to remember about the religious sect that has created past incidents: They're not all living together in one community! So, it would be unfair to judge a set of visitors based on what anothers have done. These lads appear to be accustomed to maneuvering the public, other groups could operate more isolated. Man, Horse Guards could really use you on a PR consultation team or something. They know you are a very fair observer and videographer.

Another whacky day at horse guards. Love it. You mentioned the troopers, the fact they had more women. Their uniforms are magnificent. Love the gold braiding. Because of the small size of the gals, they always need a leg up and look the size of jockeys. Their boots are over the knee in front to ward off swords. Lower behind the knee for easy in the saddle. They dont have batwings on their boots like the King's lifeguards. Can anyone give insight into that fashion disaster? I noticed most troop horses are dark brown with black tail, mane and stockings. They are also much more verbal than lifeguard horses. No idea why. Just a random observation.

We don’t use yellow school buses in the UK. We use ordinary buses to take children to school.
The men were very respectful, it just goes to show bad manners and disrespect is a choice. These young men acted as everyone should.

Majesty means majestic which this beautiful horse is. I wonder if they have their own stud farm attached to the regiments.
The Household Cavalry don't breed their own horses they are purchased in Ireland from carefully selected breeders , they are Irish draught with some thoroughbred blood bought at around 3/4 years old then carefully trained for their ceremonial duties .

I will have to watch that , 😂😂 but sometimes they just have to set these people straight , I mean you get people waving their hands in front of the horses faces, running up to the horse for a photo screaming as loud as anything if the horse moves, I mean Evan if you've never been around horses before surely you know that , and holding the rains, it's just common sense, it's like if you saw someone with a dog, you wouldn't go up to them and start grabbing hold of their lead or collar.
