I definitely have found that there is quite a bit of confusion between the impact rated and the flex torq. I myself have spent hours and hours trying to figure things out. Another good video. Thanks Milton

Another good one LM! Might be able to help ya clear up your confusion if ya havent figured it out by now. First the 3 bit holders that say impact torsion on the packaging are not impact torsion bit holders even though they say it on the packaging. The packaging is refering to the 2 included ph2 bits when its refering to the impact torsion design which is confusing. Then when you compare it to an actual flex torque bit holder it can be confusing because the bit holder itself is the flex torque designed. I believe impact torsion bits came first which were just the 1" and 2" bits you would buy and possibly use with a bit holder. After impact torsion bits were out for a while Dewalt came out with a new bit design which was flex torque and they also started making bit holders with the flex torque design. So you might get a bit holder that is actually a flex torque design like you have or you may also get a bit holder that is not a flex torque design but includes some flex torque bits with it that will then have Dewalt putting the marketing on the packaging for flex torque that might be confusing.

Like many guys (and gals too) I've been using screws for years and have continually been in search of a better driving bit or system. It's hard for me to believe that with all those "genius" design engineers on payroll that someone hasn't come up with something by now that works pretty near flawlessly and would also eliminate most of the associated confusion. I mean, we've put men on the moon and sent robots to Mars. You'd think we could at least figure out a better way to put a screw through wood. Great review and hello from us backwoods hillbillies across the big pond here in Tennessee.

If there was a perfect one, you'd only buy the one.

Was recently introduced to torx wood screws intended for construction.
Philips screws should be illegal to make!
Square drive was an improvement over the philips, but torx are amazing

@@markchidester6239 Yes sir. Although I don't like square drive any better than Phillips, I agree 110% that, im my opinion, Torx is currently the best option available.

Why people make these videos is to make a quid by leaving amazon affiliate links of tested products in the description. I think you should, it was a good test I would use your links. Thanks
