Makita Bit Set shrsl.com/1w8n4
I've owed one since a tornado came through and damaged my fence about 4 years ago. Because of that storm and 2 others since, I have run several hundreds of screws with it and it's outstanding. Even this weekend as I used this adaptor, it continues to amaze!
Great video, I have this bit holder but I do prefer to use my Wera Impaktor Tri Torsion bit holder as it holds the screws well plus when the screw hits home, the bit holders sleeve retracts back out of the way. It also prolongs the life of your impact bits compared to other holders I’ve used.
My current bit holder is 5 years old and still going strong with weekly use. Wish they could invent a bit that lasts that long....
I like the magnet on that bit holder! I've had plenty of those ladder situations you talked about, lol!
Lol, yeah me too bro haha
GAVIN REILLY Glasgow UK STANLEY FAT MAX SFM43. £10 roughly 10 dollars
Imma buy one and paint it red for my Milwaukee impact driver.
Hahahaha nice
BLASPHEMY!!!
@@meagaindave2049 heck with you my friend. lol
Oh wow! Good to know! I've actually had one of these in my drill bag for probably 2 years & never used it because I just thought it was some gimmicky bit holder🤦🏼♂️.... but now that I've seen this video & know what its for & actually does.....I'm gonna start using it. Thanks
I have had this attachment for about 2 years and it works amazing! 👍🏻👍🏻
I'll wait for the Harbor freight one to come out
I used for quite a time in combination with the impact bits and I’m very satisfied with the results of it.
Thanks for your tool reviews.
Your welcome and thanks for the feedback toniotj!!!
Just so ya' know, ordering this as a stocking stuffer for myself (wife keeps bugging me for suggestions) --it better be good! lol
Lol, you'll like it. Let me know!!!!
How do you like it ?
Being a professional Technician working on machines this is one I will definitely try.... I am a bit concerned about the tight spots but it seem to be more that reasonable in most circumstances...
Thanks for the tip!!!
Let me know how you like it Shaun!
If you buy the 60pc makita xps set it comes with a PH2 like that. Super strong magnet. My FIL said these are meant for screwing drywall so you don’t push the screw to deep and crack it: but I still use it whenever unless I’m trying to dig screws in.
I have one of these. They're very useful, but they do also attract all the metal shavings if you strip a screw head slightly. I guess this is good for cleanup, but also means you have to get it all off this part afterwards.
I use that bit and love it makes working easier with the magnetic sleeve.
Good to see the video instructions. The tool came with no inserts or instructions so I wasn't sure how to use it. Fixed!
Gotta have one even though it's not milwaukee. Makita has always made good product.
I got one after using it for a few months I lost it. Bought three more straight away. A buddy came and helped he ended up taking one home. Lol yes it has some cons but the positives are very strong and the counter sink is perfect for subfloor and framing windows and doors and.....
Been looking for this. Thanks, just put in my order with Amazon -$7.00
I'll be damned, I was watching the video and I blanked out for a second at around 3:00. 15 seconds later, I came to and realized I was subscribed! I also really like this thing, I got 2 of em yesterday but I thought they were for the 2 longer bits. Still happy to use it for the short ones. :)
Haha, awesome. Tha ks for the comment and the sub bro👊
I am a 64 yr young maintenance technician and I could use that bit holder and jacket on a daily basis. I believe I will love it.
I seriously doubt that. Just go buy a magnetic bit tip holder
I have serch for this particular makita bit holder but I can't find it anywhere
I plan on getting 2 of them next time I am at Home Depot - maybe I get 3.
That's a great tool! I'll get 2 or 3. Thanks for this video👍👍
The only one I use. Very well made and I have never had a screw come off. I used om my Mikita impact a lot..I just got a De Walt 12v and use one on it as well.
thanks for the great review...will be very useful when we finally build that TinyHouse she’s always talking about...gotta have accessories like this in the arsenal...
One word: MAKITA!!! God bless Clint! 😁👍
Haha, I knew you would like this one Dave lol
@@ToolReviewZone 🤣🤣👍
GOD BLESS.
So does Makita pay you or you just work for free
thanks for the info.
I like it...very handy.
thank you! really a good video!
Now this is a sweet bit holder I had this on my list before I got my DeWalt might still by it
Its awesome TC👊
Nice. I need one
I’ll get one now that I’ve seen it 👌
Let me know how you like it
Can you do a review on the hitachi magnetic bits available on Amazon? I like it because it is not bulky and is very magnetic,
Absolutely. I'll try to find one today
Iv used a similar holder made by wera same design but trouble is due to the large circumference of the holder it prevents you from burying the head of the screw witch is generally the desired action when useing apart driver to surcure the timber properly
Oh ya definitely my favorite impact but holder there. I’d like too see some videos comparing actual bits themselves I use the makita golds and dewalt but feel that the makita gold hold up much better than any other bits I have found or used.
I'll put something together soon Jed. I agree with what you just said. I love Makita gold bits
Wow that’s the first time I’ve heard anything good about Makita gold
Joe Bleaux oh man I’m telling you they last a long time and fit great in the fasteners.
Trz wow you just reminded me of something I think I have that in one of my Makita kits and I have not even used it yet I forgot all about it I'm going to look for it tomorrow see if I can find it. This is why I love your videos you rock brother but anyway for some reason after watching this video I'm getting very sleepy lol. Peace brother
Hahaha, Like I told John Rice below, I'm not sure why he has the urge to subscribe, nor do I know why you would be getting sleepy. Not like I was trying to hypnotize you or anything 😏 than6for the comment bro and let me know if you get a chance to use the bit
Tool Review Zone than6? You’re in a gang ? Is that a gang? 911 I found a gang, maybe even terrorists. Send animal control ASAP
I bought the Dewalt magnet bit which I saw on your video this is a brilliant tool thanks a lot 👍🏻
Great video thanks, the best is wera rapidaptor bit holder 👍
I'm going to have to get one of them. Every one keeps talking about them👊
Looks cool 😎
seems like also useful to prevent over screwing
This bit holder should be in every driver set!
I've been using Milwaukee impact bit holders for years, not as strong but more than good enough.
Bought this a few days back, from a link under your other video. It works well. And yeah, it is long...so I have a shorter DeWalt one in case I need to get into a tight space. All good.
Appreciate the awesome feedback Kennedy 👊👊👊👊👊
I have two of these Makita adapters. I also have the Dewalt equivalent. And then I have 2 different Dewalt magnets for their 2 inch bits - .......My name is Beto and I have an addiction to magnetic bit adapters.
The Makita is by far the best one. It holds the screw "real nice like". Its a bit bulky and wide, but it does exactly what its advertised to do. And if its a tight space, you can remove the adapter if you just want to use it as a standard bit holder or back-out a deep screw; which you cannot do with the Dewalt.
Was this replaced by the Impact XPS magnetic insert bit holder? I know the gold line bits were replaced by XPS but this, I wasn’t sure about.
Nice accessories
I am expecting this to be sent to my house today!
You're few years behind, I've something like that which is more similar, sleeve slides back and fore to secure screw in place while magnetic tip hold it in place, either by Dewalt and Motormaster from Cdn. Tire
Nice Bits
Great video clint
Thanks Antonio!!!
What is the difference in function to the Makita magnetic boost bit holder? Can somebody explain why it is a torsion holder
I’m going to try it
I have just recently found your channel, and have I subscribed and purchased the first Makita bit you demo. And I love it, so now I have to purchase this one, Cheers
Awesome Andrew, thanks for the comment 👏
What’s your favourite bit to date? Have you done a comparison video?
Every review should say whether the bit holder holds the drive bit in place with just the magnetic force or whether it has a little springy C-clip embedded inside of it that also helps hang on to the bit. The ones with the C-clip are far less likely to have the bit pull out and remain stuck in the head of the screw as you pull the drill away when you are finished driving the screw into the work piece.
All of them have been magnetic rings so far good 'un👊
@@ToolReviewZone , ultimately, holding the bit in place strictly with the magnetic force just doesn't work for me; I gotta have the C-clip! I'm okay with having to use pliers to remove the bit (especially the short bits) from the holder; it beats pulling the drill away and having the bit stay in the head of the screw! The plain-jane Dewalt bit holders have the C-clip and the strongest magnet of any bit holder I have tried (and I've tried many!). I only use the sliding-collar bit-drivers for special circumstances, as the increased diameter of the magnetic collar gets in the way...
Awesome
Magnetize the bit. That's a good idea. I can do that.
lol.. man its fully... subscribed before fault to sleep... well done magic!!!
Lol, your the man Sofa!!!!
Man I love your vibe! God bless you
I thought these were a new idea from the past few years. Obviously the popularity of impacts has skyrocketed lately. So the ¼" impact side is new...But when my machinist grandfather passed away a few years ago, I got all his old tools and there was a whole set of different screw-driver tips with magnetic tip shrouds like this. All his tools are very old...so the idea is an old one that's been resurrected lately. It's fun to use his hand drills sometimes, even though an impact will do it 100x faster.
Know what else isn’t new? Multi head power tools. Think 1945
I bought the dewalt magnetic bit holder and It crapped out after 50 screws ,i just ordered the makita dual pkg magnetic bit holder after watching your video . Hope i have good luck.
Thanks for the feedback and comment Gerald! Let me know how you like it 👊
I like the dewalt but haven’t hard used it
Hey, I have those same screws!
I have it. I love it.
Looks nice, but how is this any different from any other magnetic bit holder that's already supplied with impact bit kits?
5:00 ahaha..love the effect of broken lens !! you got me with that one..LOL
Other bits I've tried out are :
#1... ($15cad) Milwaukee Tool 2.36-inch Shockwave Compact Magnetic Bit Tip Holder
#2.. ($8cad) DEWALT 3-inch Magnetic Bit Tip Holder
#3.. ($8cad) Paulin 1/4 x 3-inch Magnetic Bit Holder
#4.. ($25cad) Felo 98mm SDS Magnetic Bit Holder
I've seen one ole timer, chop his magnetic hand screwdriver and used it for a Power drill bit. Probably cost him 1$ in the price.
Awesome!!!!! Thanks for the info on these bro👊👊👊👊👊

.
Ian Turner yes that’s his name
@@ToolReviewZone I wish we had more options , like you've shared in your previous videos...I really have to learn how to do internet shopping...and save money.
Thats what I do bro. Sometimes there is a big on price and even shipping plays a huge role bro
The wera hf(hold fast) bits hold the screw without a magnet.
It helps.making our job much easier.n efficient. Tq.👍👍👍
What about stainless I find aluminium cutting wax perfect 👌
so what's the best bit & screw holder?
Question can you use this bit for a drywall gun
Makita or Dewalt which one better magnetic bit holder?
Thank you. I bought one this week it’s already paid for itself with my last few jobs.
Hey now chek the wera impactor bit set out same principal but better executed (no sleeve to loose and all metall)
Yo! What's the dilly! Sweet vid. What model is that impact.and do you like it. I was maybe thinking of getting into Makita
DT12Z I think bro. Can't remember and am actually out of the state so can go out and look. All it all, Makita makes some great, well tuned impacts. Not as powerful as the Milwaukee, but still very controlled tools bro
I have the Milwaukee 12v system and the makita 18v. The makita set is my favorite to use. I’ve done so much with it and completed so many projects with my set. Just amazing. I think the Milwaukee fuel set is just as good, but when I started 10 years ago, Milwaukee wasn’t really a thing.
every time you show a video on these magnetic tips they seem to get better and better but you ever see at Home Depot or on TV the bits that supposedly take out stripped screws you have a used one of those before because as I'm doing demo on this new house is it a lot of stripped screws so I wanted to purchase that kit one side cleans the screw tip out and the other side gets the stripped screw out
Don’t you already know how to do that if you’re doing demo?
Very good product, I also use Robertson bits and screws that hold pretty well without a magnet. I was screwing down a subfloor at my daugter's house on Long Island. I purchased T25 floor screws at Home Depot there and could not do the job, screws could'nt stay on the bit. I had to come back to Montreal and I got 500 square bit floor screws at Home Depot here, went back south of the border and did the job in half a day without issues. I was very disappointed with those star bit screws, they don't hold any better than those "%±!*& Phillips headed screws.
I hate this bit holder (still use). It's good if you don't want to screw deep.. but! Screws are holding not on bit, but only on magnet, when trying screw on angle and push screwdriver on wood, screws are droping like beans. If you screwed to deep, you need to remove holder, faster is to change all bit with holder or screwdriver. For basic tasks use metal part only. And yes, its holding on bits smallest part 2:16, so screws and bits are damaged in process.
This bit seems better than the DEWALT because you can use 1in bits with this one. Wait a minute I feel the urge to subscribe. I be back in a "BIT". Nice product thanks for the review. You are soooooo PUNNY😂😂😂.
Lmao, not sure what you mean by subscribe... what ever could you be talking about? Whatever you seen in this video must be a figment of you imagination bro 😏
@@ToolReviewZone 🤔😂😂😂
This, dewalt or bosch one?
😱😱exalant need one
Great video.
Would this work on dewalt impact?
BOSCH ITBHQC201 is a BEAST magnetic bit. YeeeeaaaaH Buddy check this one out.
I'll look for it now Tony. Thanks for the heads up!!!!!
I like the aluminum dewalt ones but this looks cool.
Yeah I love this one Henry. Hey, when you going to grow that mustache bro 🤔
Just recently got a combo pack, a drill and impact two battery and charger with Makita box set. I've been having my eye on Makita for a while I'm new to the game, did a whole lot of research yada yada yada. I have a project where I was going to be using a lot of my time drilling and such so I made up my mind to get the drill and impact, after purchasing them I was looking for bits and stuff and came across this on Amazon and I was going to get it automatically then I talked myself out of it. I kind of didn't understand the benefit of it, the videos were just advertising that it was for sale really not really too much of it in action so I couldn't bring myself to make the purchase, even though it was very well priced considering the price of the drill and impact I bought. Your video has encouraged me to go out and get this bit right now and I'm looking forward to using it and I will be using it so thanks a whole lot for your video and your content and obviously above all your channel. Keep up the good work brother
can this be used on hammer drill?
What was your favorite one if this is ypu second favorite
hey , have you tried the "Wera 887/4 RR SB Rapidaptor" ? it is an expensive one
Bad expensive
This is the way
What’s the difference between the Makita cordless tools and these new smaller black Makita power tools?
😂
Very good sar
The bit holder from WERA is way better. I have both holders. WERA is king.
DeWalt killer! #Makita
Lol
The Makita E-01644 60-Pc bit set also has an magnetic adapter much more compact/smaller and is fully metal piece. I use it all the time and love it. You should try it out.
i need a bunch of them.....
One word... Robertson!
If you take a look on the Wera Impaktor Bit Holder you'll realise how primitive this Makita Bit Holder is.
I don’t know why I subscribed or hit the bell. Just felt a strong need to do it...
Haha, welcome to the channel Johan!👊👊👊
Because you have man’s interest
Simon C, Or I just referred to the hypnosis joke in the video and I subscribed to the channel because it was little of my type of humor ;)
What about if needed to screw stainless steel screws
Just used super glue 😂😂
Both times... "I'm not even gonna touch that screw" ... Then he proceeds to tap it with his index finger LMAO
Makita bit set link doesn’t work. Please fox as I’m interested in the set. Thanks
I have that sleeve & it's almost too strong of a magnetic force. You can hardly even pull the bits outta the sleeve
Whats it called
