I use dowel points for dowel. But honestly, I just wack a nail in every 200mm or so, cut them off with the pincers and push the wood together with the nail acting as the dowel. Just don't put it through the saw.

The new impact is full of demons. My old charger died so I figured why not update the drills. lol I thot this scrawny little impact was a joke till i pulled the trigger on a self boring sheet metal screw.

The insane part is, the implication is you still "need" a power tool. Construction, remodeling, alteration work, etc, has been going on for hundreds of years. Yes it is faster with a power tool, I'd suggest to at least have a drill and saw. Beyond that, it becomes a hobby more than a need unless you are in a profession where you are paid by the job and then, yes you need whatever pays for itself in higher job completion rate.

The biggest issue with the milwaukee batteries is fact that people think battery is charged when green light flashes which is only 80% and should be solid green before removing it Also fact people tend to hot swap which is worse thing can do to them

Dewalt has had golding utility knives for a long time. Like at least 10 years. I have o e that I bought ten years ago. Doesn't have the same handle as that one, though.

What about storing the mower in a shed or garage with no climate control? Won't the weather changes throughout the year from hot to cold ruin the batteries? I accidentally kept one of my 40v ryobi batteries in my barn through the winter and its dead. So i keep all batteries 18v and 40v inside the house.
