Dutasteride for Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH)

Dutasteride is a 5-alpha reductase inhibitor that is indicated for treatment of BPH either alone or in combination. This drug inhibits conversion of testosterone to its more active form dihydrotestosterone (DHT). This results in reduced androgenic activities at prostate gland leading to decrease in its size.

I haven’t seen a reduction, however it may slow further maturation of body and facial hair follicles.

John Moore well i need to update this comment , i fucking swear i completed 1 cycle taking one tablet every day for 30 days . So many hairs around my body started to fall and disappeared especially in my back and stomach and neck ......

@@dunexdune7212 I take 1mg finasteride everyday and 0.5mg of dutasteride ever 3rd day and haven’t noticed any reduction.
Been on finasteride since the end of February and started the dutasteride in May. But then again I’m significantly harrier in terms of chest and back hair than most people my age, 23.
And tbh most people find body hair unattractive so if anything it’d be a positive.

John Moore finastride makes hair grow faster and thicker thats what i noticed , even its not affective comparing with duta , i was suffering very bad from hair in my back and shoulders even neck too , well i noticed hair reduction while stacking duta with spirolactone , They work very well with me , Also I started doing laser hair removal and results are impressive , the only disgusting side affect was fatigue and loss of appetite and weight loss , Spirolactone will ruin your body muscle mass which u gonna feel tired all the time , I use 0.5 mg of duta daily and 200Mg spirolactone
