Pioglitazone - Mechanism, side effects, precautions and uses

Pioglitazone is a thiazolidinedione that acts by activation of Peroxisome Proliferator Activated Receptor (PPAR) gamma. This drug increases the sensitivity of Insulin but it doesn't increase release of insulin.
