    Sir in some standard book like kd tripathi is claimed that dpp_4 inhibition can also be caused heart failure such as by saxagliptin ,linagliptin nd some also measure to cause hepatitis by vidagliptin ......then it may be dangerous over the long tim for patients then sir what will be doc for glycemic patients....

    Thanks sir, mine fasting insulin level is 7.4 Im diabetics. im 32 years I was actually thinking of getting off teniligliptin thinking it would decrease my beta cell function

    Sir, us fda warn about sitagliptin and linagliptin that they can cause severe side effects of joints and pancreatitis, is it possible with Tenagliptin and other gliptins ? Or its rare and only with sitagliptin ?

      Pancreatitis is known and patients are seen in clinical practice.......more with SITAGLIPTIN

    Respected Dr. Joshiji,
    My age 70 and I am taking dpp4 group teneligliption 20 with metformin 500 mg.recently glenmark introduced new drugs in sglt 2 groups name remoglifozin.I will be highly appreciate your advice can I take teneligliptin with dinner and remoglifozine with lunch. Both drugs mechanism are different, so please advise.

      Your physician would be a better choice.....there are many comorbidities in a given patient and so many other interferring factors are there......MOST IMPORTANT DO NOT SELF MEDICATE.,.......secondly SGLT2 inhibitors are having their own drawbacks........so please take advise of physician before taking any new drug
