Scrap the Super Rugby Aotearoa and Australia and just join them together and play 10 rounds where you play every nz and aus team.
That just might happen when it gets back to 12 with the pasifika teams joining in for good old round-robin, semifinals, and final.

Having the New Zealand teams play in the final of the trans Tasman super rugby is far more competitive. The level of New Zealand Rugby is miles ahead of Rugby Australia.
Australia did not set the bar very high though lol. Were they under the impression that it was 10 minutes each way perhaps? Because they always seemed competitive for the first 20 minutes and then completely disappeared.

Slowing it down and looking at the angle of the pass with the line it looks like a flat pass initially that drifts forward but I think there's more of an argument for calling that forward than not. Too many passes in super rugby these days that are like this and never get called forward - many of the Crusaders passes come to mind.

1:18 ‘one saving grace for Ash Dixon…’ is that the Kiwi refs don’t know the laws or they would have red carded him for direct, unmitigated shoulder with force to the head. Under the head laws that is a red every day of the week

They didn't qualify because these two teams were better than them and all the coulda shoulda woulda's in the world does not change the fact that the Blues lifted the trophy.

@@pierscox5845 Yeah I have been having a debate on the highlights for last week's game regarding the Skinner red card. Even as a SAFFA and a huge Faf fan, I can not fault Skinner for his approach or technique - he still managed to get both arms around Faf in a legitimate, if high, tackle!
Compare that to Tuilagi today or Dixon (?) today, both of whom started high and contacted the head with force. If ever there was a "no mitigation", then these two get it. Utter bollocks to give those two yellows if Skinner got a red.
