      Well to me Mckenzie is a fantastic player and they did not loose because of him. He misses 3 kicks yes, but explain me why he has to kick the penalty after receiving a tackle in the air ? Aren't there any other kicker in the team ? To me they were also poor tactical choices in 2e half...why don't they score more with 15 men against 13 ? Anyway I am thankfull for this final and all players, again it was a great show and a great display of NZ rugby

    3 talking points from this game:
    1. Sevu Reece should have been a red, shoulder to the head is red, its been made clear the way referees have been officiating all over the world that that sort of tackle is now a red. Poor refereeing.
    2. Mo'unga is on another plane of existence
    3. The main reason the Chiefs are even in the final is because of Mackenzie, he can hold his head up high even though he didn't have a great game.

    • @agostinonigro8427
      @agostinonigro8427 Před 3 lety

      Agree with 2 & 3. Not with one. This interpretation of the rule is tricherous.
      If you aim with the head against the shoulder or the arm of a player already set for a tackle, he can't avoid the impact.
      High tackles need to be high, you need to have the intention to hit the upper side of the ball carrier.

    I see a lot of people here talking about the bad calls they think the chiefs didn’t get, but the loss was all the chiefs fault. They didn’t want to win the game bad enough. The were relying on Dmac to win it for them in stead of going for line outs when the crusaders were down to 13. And kicking the ball away when they could have attacked with ball in hand when up by two players.

    How was that tackle in the air only a yellow? The punishment for a reckless tackle that could so easily end someone's career is just a yellow?
    Like how is high tackling someone who is falling to the ground even nearly comparable to tackling someone in the fucking air?

    • @Nineteenseventy2

      That second yellow could've been red. Shoulder to Head contact, lucky it was a yellow. And Cody Taylor can count himself lucky to. Justin (penis) Marshall needs to learn the laws, in any other game Taylor would've been handed a red. And the ref missed a lot by both sides, When Jordan tackled Lowe ( High ) in the process of trying to score, that could have quite easily have been a penalty try as well.

    3:40 4:48 Yellows? Why??? I believe they must be reds. I've seen so many referees showed red cards for much less dangerous and much less deliberate fouls in this season. No way! How could they be less dangerous or less deliberate than tackles gone a little bit higher on shoulder? Crusaders' magic!
