Which play did we miss ?
Tamiti Alison's try assist
@@bennettcollings4406 Medard's try, at 30mn in Racing-Toulouse 2019 Champions cup quarterfinal, with an incredible blind chistera from tauzin
Barrett vs Argentina last sunday huge one handed pass
Every Quade Cooper play ever
Dillyn Leyds try Stormers vs Chiefs
Never played rugby but I imagine there's no feeling quite like getting the ball, looking up, and seeing nothing in front of you but the try line.
It’s a magical moment mate
The sense of relief you get knowing that all you got to do is run is indescribable
And then someone tackles u from behind...
Nah the better feeling is being a forward and crunching a fly half that’s just made a catch
This comment bought back so many happy memories. It reminded me of some of the many moments where I have fallen in love with rugby. Thank you for it.
You couldn’t have a video like this without one moment of magic from Finn 🏴
Bruh, that nutmeg!!!
@@greenkodex Simply epic
Miss pass against england to huw Jones
7:08 thanks for including John Smit's one-hander. I remember that one fondly.
Wonderful displays of skill from around the rugby world! Love that you are not parochial, or biased on hemisphere. Have a new subscriber. Shout out to Fiji... rugby in your blood. Much love from Ireland!
You forgot Aussie prop Matt Dunnings long range drop kick in the dying minutes of a game....it would've been spectacular had they not needed tries to advance to the semifinals.
Forget the Gareth Edwards try at the end of it, but Phil Bennett's work at the start of 'the greatest try' (Baa-Baas vs All Blacks '73) was every bit as good as some of the stuff here. It may not have been 'in the past few years', but his nimbleness in out-smarting NZ was amazing to watch. Phenomenal work.
At the end, the try given by Kolbe... that's exactely what we enjoy to see in rugby.
Absolutely amazing! Top sportsmanship 🔥
No Dillon Leyds sit down pass to the Stormers winger for a try? That was epic.
Think that was in part one of this video series.
Fiji 7's Team does trillions of them.
🇫🇯🇫🇯🇫🇯
Surely we aren't just gonna skip the fact that Mataele did that so casually lol
Such a beautiful game too watch in all honesty..I love good flowing rugby
The problem with union is it rarely flows
Absolutely right mate,I think that is due to different referees and their ideals
I've seen Brian o Driscoll do literally everything in this video, one in a million.....
Brian o Driscoll is the greatest player to never win the world cup
@@Nix42069 Lomu, Edwards, O'Driscoll, Spencer, Mehrtens, Hernandez, WJ McBride, Parisse, Blanco... There's no way I could pick one!
@@DavidAJones11 Parisse in this modern day Italy side would help them so much i genuinely think with his leadership and his world class skills in his prime he would be able to have them consistently win at least 2 six nations games a year
Did he do the mataele pass? Or the pio tuwai backpass?
Some amazing moments it is true, but I was saddened not to see Makazole Mapimpi, amazing run to give the "Springboks" their first ever Try in a "R.W.C" final back in 2019. Should be included not only for the brilliant play, but also the significance of it..!!
05:42 that game bought us to Victory in the Rugby World Cup finals 2019!! Go bokke bokke
Loving the content. Keep it up.👍
Thanks man, will do !
The best was the last one, not only is Kolbe an exceptional player, if not one of the best ever, he is also a gentleman. Pity is was against Aus, I'll forgive him for that.
That commentator's cry out, ' Cheslin Kolbe, you.. tiny dancer!', was brilliant.
the best was TJ my opinion but I'm Kiwi so I'm biased all pretty good
Most of these aren't "1000 IQ plays" they're just great rugby skills...
tbh i was expecting set piece plays
Yeah, most of these aren't smart plays per se. Smart plays would be recognising an opponent's weakness and exploiting it.
1:40 is a forward pass
Yeah when things happen fast in a rugby game you just have to go with it
The skills are genius within themselves because of the execution.
7:23 the smile on his face as he runs away
Wow that's incredibly impressive you've found 14 separate one in a million rugby moments.
He watched 14 million moments to find these, this is his life's work.
_Excuse me_ one in a *trillion.*
Damn If the 50/22 rule existed when Bouthier did that across the field kick. That would have been the most glorious 50/22 kick ever made.
we missed Joost van der Westhuizen's tackle against Lomu
The number of times, I seen it mentioned that it's a no look pass, but I actually see the person look or observe their situational awareness. Funny.
If you don't assess whether a player is there to receive the pass it's more luck than skill if the pass comes off
@@Me-ex7qg I agree. There still is a element of luck though with the "no look" pass, as the intended receiver could have changed direction. Most of the time at that level, "no look" passes have been practiced since childhood, so a communication is developed between the players, a unconscious competence I call it, where the players intuitively know what's going to happen.
Some great stuff but it is funny to note that in your '1 in a trillion' video, we saw the same moves a number of times. Still fabulous to watch
I've done the Zebo flick kick before. It was an accident at a club-level practice, but I did it, and it felt like magic.
Great play 🙌🏻
This has absolutely NOTHING to do with IQ. Just pure skill
Definitely
There is such a thing as kinetic IQ
Notable omission: Lionel Cronje try for the Southern Kings in Super Rugby a few years back. Belongs in this package if you can find it.
Don't remember what game it was, but I remember Kolbe catching the ball just before his 22, kicking it while being tackled, and managing to find a 60m touch with the ball bouncing infield just before the touch line
I remember Giteau doing a similar pickup against England in November 2004
Richie’s QuickStart was disrespectful
And I love it
The legendary covers a few months!
Barret has done the one handed pick up multiple times already
1 in a million moments and half a dozen of them were identical offloads! 😂
Hat's off to these gladiators.
Pietermartizburg KZN South Africa 🌍
"Those were the days my friend, I wish they had never ended!"😎🏉🍺 CHEER'S MATE!!!
Cheslin Kolbe is just sublime
No Jordan Larmour? Either the Munster try or the one against Scarlets in the Pro 14 final should be here.
Only one clip of BOD? At least of his between the legs passes to create tries should be here, or even the trick move where he popped it over Hickey's head to himself?
That last one was crazy
Awesome !
I thought jumping in the tackle was a penalty offence?
Agreed... 100% dangerous play
it should have been
that was before the rules changed
@@Rustie_za not true
Juan Martin Hernendez chip kick V Scotland I think . 2007 rwc quarter finals. Try find that .
foréver moments of magic YES!
Your right you wouldn’t believe it if it wasn’t recorded🙃
in terms of IQ it has to be Russell or Mounga, but in terms of spectacle my choice is TJ's try cause it was outrageous from start to finish
Looked in touch
@@dairet1945 the TMO examined it thoroughly and it was legal all along
el kick de juani hernandez de las mejores que vi en mi vida
You will never see skill like this in the NFL in the USA, true athletes !!!!!
As a rugby player and a rugby lover I must say yes allot of those skills you won't see In NFL. Because NFL is a complete different sport. I also like watching NFL and those players are also showing some skills you won't see in rugby. Players of both sports are great athletes with how strong fast and agile they are.
@@nouri388 yeah but handeggers are steroid cheats.
I remember watching the mouanga quick start and as a blues fan it is one of the most infuriating things I’ve ever seen
No doubt Henry Arundel already has two in the bag for this year. 👍
That banana kick was outrageous
Out of this world
Les passes du turfu 🔥🔥
The "no look pass" = looking 1 second before he pass it.. hahahahha.... you are some silly boiz :D
1:43 Commentator : Thats Leonel Messi
What was so good about barrets pick-up?
After Mataele's magical pass, Ben Lam was like, "was that even legal??"
Hahahah we can’t blame him
ARTISTS..!
>smartest plays in rugby history
>smartest plays in the last decade
Pick one.
I never saw the one where Brian O'Driscoll kicks the ball to himself twice!!! Did he play Gaelic?
Kolbe, king of footwork
Fijian are king of it
@@rupenitauluga8553 lol you wish mate
Beaudys 1 in a million 1 handed pick up at the start of this clip is done in almost every single game of rugby
bro, the selflessness on that last one takes some real discipline
You missed Brian Habana he was a legend
I have watched this entire video and I still have no idea how this sport is played
This new generation if Rugby player have been watching alot of NBA passes lol...this is amazing stuff 💯💯💯
Which Play is from the Thumbnail?
What is the music in the background please
1:42 bro said that's Lionel Messi 🤣🤣🤣
Apparently Farrell is still on the field looking for Kolbe
This is the first time ive watched an actual rugby game thing and I'm kinda shocked about how harsh it is that they tackle eachother etc. Makes football seem like playing with cotton
Like what's so special about that one handed pick up it bounced up for him🤣
Great game 😀
Nice video 👌
Lukhanyo Am of the SA Springboks has plenty magic moments in rugby. He must be included.
George Bridges try against the Hurricanes that left Jordie Barrett shook
In the old days we all scooped the ball at top speed. We practiced it. There weren't too many of us who got up if you went down on the ball because that ball was lying on stones, gravel and odd bits of veld grass.
iribaren's pass wasn't behind his back..?
The one handed pick up is a common thing bro seen it happen heaps of times
"One in a million" moments
Proceeds to show multiple versions of the same kind of pass
You could make a whole episode on Chelsin
Cheslin*
@@IrisFost him too:)
So the lineout “save”…. the ball went over the line!
Roman Barret @ 0.10 sec, that should be considered basic skills at this level.
@ 4.16 now that's extraordinary skills.
You do it like 0:10 and 4:16
Under the current rules would that 90m spiral kick result in an attacking line out?
I am pretty sure it would result in a line out for France yes !
Well done
What’s the song in this called?
Trop beau
Good video
.
Quite a number from our Fijian brothers.
Cannot believe how Barrett pick up is here .. Many Many times has that been seen ..AND IF YOU Want 2 fall in love with Rugby , there is a scarlets best tries from 2017vor summit . Magic
Miracle try amongst the best
for me
Brock James’s no-look pass that involves him looking before he passes it 🤨. Fantastic skill tho
1 in a million - a rugby game that is interesting
I love it just like I love the game
Nice video
.
Mataele offload got Ben lam 😮
Bryan Habana?
I love you Viedios Im From Germany and i love rugby and i look every vidios from you
❤❤❤
0:36 que grande cristian martin
Excellent moments, but 1 in a million? The Australian U20s try assist, seen many times, the Welsh linout save, very common occurrence,,Cipriani and the over the top pass, not unknown by any means, Kolby's 1st try...good, not great, the SA hand off, only special in the eyes of the commentary, this is more like 1 in 25. The rest were pretty good. One you missed that is totally unique from all these is Brian O'Driscoll passing the ball to .......... Brian O'Driscoll. 😉
Nice
.
