- Super Rugby Aotearoa | Highlanders v Chiefs - Rd 7 Highlights
It took until the final kick of the game, but the Chiefs found a way against the Highlanders to jump to third spot in Super Rugby Aotearoa.

DMac looks like he's got sinister intentions every time he's kicking for goal with that smile of his. My favourite player to watch, Let's Go Chiefs!!
Dmac is just a diff person with that smile..😂🔥🔥chiefs are getting to another level..
The intensity of rugby in New Zealand is unbelievable.
It is hey, check out some SA rugby as well 🤟🏾
@@bayandafiglan6044 SA rugby? their super rugby teams always get blown out by the nz and au teams. not checking that out
@@bayandafiglan6044 Yeah we have but this is NZ side not SA and your comment is just knife in aint it, typical Saffa aint ya, DONT forget about us in SA, whaaaa. Wish we could play you, put you to bed you South Africans.
@@bayandafiglan6044 waaaa another saffa jealous of SRA, now they're begging for people to view their rugby. SA rugby is shit mate, barely no one watched that currie cup shit, SRA has been ranked one of the biggest competitions in the world. every SA team will get blown out by 70 against any super rugby aotearoa side. id rather check out the heinekein cup than the currie cup bullshit. that's why they self promote their rugby on a NZ video when it's absolutely irrelevant, Currie cup makes arguably the lowest and has the worst economy which is also corrupted. no one wants to watch that, NZ rugby generates alot of views. people pay to watch the all blacks because they're the face of rugby. wonder why you're even asking for people to watch SA rugby lmfao. like Graggle5 said "waaa don't forget about our rugby, waaa we hate nz rugby because they steal all the viewers"
New Zealand rugby is the best version of Super Rugby!!!🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
dmac basically looks like a horror movie psycho taking a penalty kick
I love it haha. the smile cracks me up.
The Zombie haircut only adds to the creepiness
Those horror movies that the pscho executes every kill!
Any rugby fan will be pleased to see Damian Mackenzie making such a great come back. Happy to see the Chiefs finally on track!
First it turned out DMac was human after all, and then it happened for a second time and he was definitely looking human after all ..... and then it turned out he wasn't human again after all that!! Bad luck Smithlanders (..)
Also ALB played super well
Super rugby Aotearoa is simply the best the rugby world can offer....🔥
its not though is it
In an attacking sense

@@jamietaylorjamietaylorjam m8 have you even been watching these past few weeks? Pretty sure there’s been 60+ points scored in every knockout game so far
What a game, rugby is looking reall strong back home in NZ.
How costly was the 2 extra conversions missed by the highlanders on their first and second trys if they had gotten them and scored thy would've won the game but fair play to dmak from missing one right on halfway before the end and then slotting one over just 3 minutes later in game time to have the balls to go for it brilliant player
Great game. ABs need to keep Mackenzie fit and in the side. He gives so many options.
DMac has a killer smile, wild haircut and a will to win. He is making NZ rugby super exciting 🔥
0:54 everyone was following Shannon frizzy and forgot about .7. Perfect execution. Ima suggest this to my club. Well done Noni 😎👏🏻👌💙💙💙💙
2:52 🥸🤓 what a great pass
what makes it worse is ref was in line with it smh
The kiwi refs have been a bit shit
Was a beautiful pass haha!
I feel like I can't stress this enough, Once the Chiefs get rolling there is no stopping Damian Mc'Chiefs✊🏽🦸. Reminds me of the 2017 season 🔥🔥🥳
Some game tbf .. Highlanders must be sick as dogs after such a great effort to get back on level terms but ... kudos to the Chiefs and DMac (the Shark!! lol) who fought to the end and kept on backing themselves - lovely stuff!
Chiefs are back in their winning form 💪💪💪
Anton: touches ball for 1sec
Reff: penalty holding on
Love how Dmac always smile when he kick
New Zealand rugby is the best version of Super Rugby!💪👏👏👏👏👏👏
SUPER RUGBY AOTEAROA , the best of the world of rugby.
Good to see chiefs are back on track.
Best comp ever Chiefs good stuff!!!
Damien McKenzie smiles before all his kicks
What a great game
Chiefs are BACK baby!!!!!
Gotta say that ALB pen at the end looks suspicious
Damian McKechnie is just class
ref poor, chiefs were never supporting their body weight and hand were on the floor constantly
I don't understand how this is on Sky, yet over here in Blighty it's no longer on Sky!
this ref should be the standard for all games (when it comes to rucks)
Is passing backwards optional in NZ or am I missing something? I swear every game has a forward pass that leads to a try.
Dmac be like: 😈
Does the cameraman have the hots for Mackenzie? Only shows his face.
Super rugby Aotearoa the best rugby competition in the world!
0:54 surely that’s obstruction from the highlanders 8. Try wouldn’t be scored if that player isn’t taken out of the game
試合を決めたのはやはりマッケンジー
Too good
Damian McKenzie! The Irish-New Zealander Smiling Assassin strikes again!😁
The Smiling Assassin
first try of the highlanders is completely illegal
How? Do you even know the laws of rugby? Nothing wrong with throwing a dummy and running to the front and around the lineout. Don't make comments that are not true.
@@Nineteenseventy2 I'm a rugby player and I was a referee. There are two fouls: obstraction of number 8, and n 6 leaves the lineout.
ps sorry for my bad english
@@marcomenna746 I have played rugby for 45 years, and I have been a referee for 15 of those. I have reffed in several countries. But mainly New Zealand, Number 6 didn't leave the line out, moved in the lineout which is fine. and the 8 was engaged in contact with opposition after lineout, they landed and fed the ball to the halfback. As soon as the ball leaves the lineout it is over, It's a really smart move from the Highlanders, feed the ball quickly and dummy the opposition. And I'm a Waikato boy so I support the Chiefs.
@@marcomenna746: The #6 ran round from the front when the ball was thrown in. He's allowed to do that as long as he keeps moving until the line out is over, which he did (Law 18/29d). He doesn't actually have to take the pass.
It's the #8 that looks a little dodgy. He drives into the line as the maul is forming, making contact with two opposition players who were connected to the maul. All of that's ok … but he runs from the other side of the catcher do do this. Players shift position all the time as the line out maul forms, but this is an earlier shift than usual. Doesn't mean it's illegal. It's all in the timing.
@@newremote i respect your opinion. i know that players can move in the lineout, but n8 and n6 move behind the receiver (n7), it's too far from the lineout (more than 2 m).
and n8 doesn't engage correctly in the maul, because he doesn't bide with any mate.
anyway, i know that in the major leagues referees are less strict in these plays and more in unfair plays. but in the lower categories (i'm talkin about italian championship) refs punish in these cases.
Referee vs Highlanders
DMac incredible
チーフス嘘だろ!!??
3連勝!!!???
なにがあって!!!???
When josh ioane and his crew of hooligans come back the highlanders are losing again.
Why is golden point a thing? I understand golden try - but penalties are just too easy to get - especially when refs give them willy nilly. Could do either 2 unanswered pens/3pt or first try, surely that works better - similar to american football
ミッチェル・ハント、キック外しすぎ!!
しっかりしろよホンマに!
Can anyone explain to me why the penalty for the high tackle in the 81st minute was taken from the middle of the pitch rather than from where the infraction occurred (as in, nearer to the sidelines)? Is there some rule that allows them to move it infield in certain situations or am I missing something?
The referee was playing advantage from a previous infringement. The Chiefs were probably given the choice of either penalty position and took the earlier one because it gave the kicker an easier shot.
I think Chiefs got penalty advantage before the penalty for high tackle.
So, they could choose which point they use.
Sorry for my personal guess.
@@RSP-qk2bp Ah of course, I'm an eejit I should have thought of that.

Were's the Extra Time drama
Highlanders why you kick, you'll should have played till a try was scored
in the southern hemisphere do they just not care about forward passes?
refereeing this year has been so poor
@@shuntacheong6836 especially NZ refereeing. That fine line being satisfying the viewers with free flowing rugby, and the purist with playing to the laws.
We’re just trying to make sure it’s consistent with Northern Hemisphere standards
Why do Kiwis put buckets of chicken on their heads to watch rugby?
We're trying to save the planet bro
To block the coronavirus rays. And it’s working pretty well.
Finger Licking.
You can win a free bucket of chicken if you catch a stray ball
@@RayRay-gf7kf I see. Thanks. Is chicken very expensive over there? Wouldn't the ball be worth more than the chicken? I mean, presumably you have to prove that you caught a ball by handing over the ball?
Shocking Referee
Why the golden point and not just a draw?
You don't get 3 chances in internationals ,lets hope dmacs ass doesn't end up in the blacks, fan girl central in here lol
This is disappointing stuff from the Highlanders. Now they are losing home games and winning selective away ones ! Landers lost too many turnovers to the Chiefs when they had the ball; which was a Chiefs tactic to dislodge the ball from Landers possession. Now it becomes a must win home game against a muscled up Blues side next week home game at Forsyth Barr.
I beg Foster
