- Arabic is a very rich language, and the 22 Arab countries extending over an area of more than 13 million Km2 are very diverse linguistically and have various dialects that can be quite different and interesting. Our board members had a blast sharing their own dialects in this video. Thanks to Alaa Fayyad - Photography for the efforts working on this video.

I noticed that many of the words spoken by the gentleman speaking Iraqi Arabic were in Turkish. We use so many common words without realizing it. Loves from Turkey.
الأخ العراقي زيادة على الكلمات العراقية الغريبة نوعا ما على باقي المشاركين إلا أنه تبارك الله عليه داير جو زوين 😂
Tunisian Arabic is beautiful
It is remarkable that many Iraqi words sound hilarious to other Arab-speaking people.
persian*
@@zombieat Actually, Iraqi Arabic words of Persian origin:, such as khashuga, 'spoon,', from Persian ghashogh, which in turn is of Turkic origin.
Because they sound so harsh, almost like weapon names.. lol.
Like how the english speaking world laughs at how brits say ”a bottle of water”😅
I guess it’s the same thing with all languages where there are many different local versions and dialects.
am tunisian who speaks turkish and iraqi words are mainly turkish kaşık çatal karriola etc
The Iraqian dialect so funny😂❤ i love it.
I'm half Moroccan and I have never thought I'd find a hard Arabic dialect like Darija.
I died laughing with Moroccan Darija and Iraqi dialect, they're so unique 😂😂😂❤❤❤❤❤
And you didn't heard the algerian dialect yet😂😂
it's funny how they put Iraqi after Moroccan lmao
لهجتنة العراقية صايرة هريسة مابين عربي وفارسي وعثماني 🤣
صراحة... الكلمات غريبة جداا.! 😂😂
ليس هناك فرق كبير بين اللهجات العربية ، الفرق موجود في مخارج الحروف
love how they laugh at each other due to the pronounciations or just how different the words are, the iraqi guy specially, poor him.
Love all arabic countries from kurdistan❤😊
I adore Kurdistan, wherever you are from Kurdistan, Dohuk, Erbil, Sulaymaniyah
عراقيه ودمعت من الضحك العراقي يسوي واهس للضحك😂😂 الله يخلي

Omg that’s crazy. I’m a English/Spanish speaker from USA with family from Mexico and Honduras. I don’t think we have that many differences in words in our Spanish language. That’s cool to see
Spanish language is derived totally from Arabic we understand it too , and you are our lost blood line from Andalusia ❤
Adios & Mucho Gracias hermano Lots of love ❤️
These are the dialects, with different accents and vocabulary. But Arab countries use exactly the same standard Arabic language at school.
Enseñé francés a varios latinoamericanos. Cada vez que les traducía los nombre de las frutas y verduras me decían que no era asi, que se decía de otra manera en su país.... Terminé mostrándoles imágenes :-)
@@adamhossny-8697 buddy to say is totally derived from arabic is a stretch.... it derived from latin... with some arabic loan words.
@@adamhossny-8697Spanish uses only a handful of words which are derived from Arabic. Otherwise, it has nothing to do with Arabic. It’s a Romance (Neo-Latin) language which has high mutual intelligibility with Italian, a language with no Arabic influence. It’s not possible for an Arabic speaker and a Spanish speaker to understand each other except for an isolated word here and there. BTW, some of the words that were mentioned in this video were actually borrowings from French (another Romance language).
The Iraqi dialect is diverse, Turkish, Persian, English 😅
It is true because of the diversity of cultures in Iraq and we have many languages such as Kurdish, Turkmen, Yezidi, Shabak and Arabic
mainly turkish
that is true i am kurdish in Iraq
The 'cat' word was the best ,I laughed so much 😅
I am from Egypt and in my governrate Sharqia we also say 'Besa' بسه
قطه كانت أكتر كلمه ضحكتني 😸..أنا من مصر وفي محافظة الشرقيه بنقول أوطه (قطه)او بسه خاصة في الأرياف
The Syrian and Egyptian dramas are the most watched dramas among Arabs
but the dialect of Damasuc is closer to the formal Arabic than the Egyptian dialect
the lebanase songs are well known but their linguistic content is very limited and a big part of them are in the Egyptian dialect
I’m Yemeni and the dialects that were closest were Lebanese mostly and some Moroccan
How? I find them very different. Yemeni is distinct from all others. I think mixed with Himyarite.
@@waverunner7063 well there’s different types of Yemeni Arabic
@@Imsooverit True. Sana'ani is different from Adeni.
Where about in Yemen, you have completely different dialects to their region, Yafa, Aden, Hathramout, Dhamar, Sana, Jolf etc...
@@mrfantasticiam1269 I wouldn't say "completely" different, they all still gratuitously use "sh" at the end of words lol
Actually, many of the Iraqi words are also used in Persian (Farsi). I don’t know who borrowed from whom.
من خ ره عليك وعلى لغتك
Persian has about up to 30 prc word of arabic origins
These words sound not Arabic, so Iraqi must have borrowed them from Persian.
Awesome upload.~So cute and cool.~I enjoyed watching full.Nice video.
مصطلحات اللهجه المصريه مثلنا في الجنوب 😊❤
That's why foreign students must learn two languages......ammiya and Fusha
The morrocan girl used a very watered down version 😅, for example "a chair" can be also called " chlia" and "bed" is called generally " namoussia" not "frach".

انته مو عراقي ماكو سرير نكول كعراقيين جربايه الكل اما جطل كلمة يستخدمها البغداديين فقط والقطة بزونه مانكول قطة
This video is wrong because Lebanon (its population is 5 million) has more than 20 different dialects. So the Lebanese dialect used in this video is spoken by only few hundreds thousands people
The dialect of Damascus is the second well-understood dialect among Arabs and it comes after the dialect of Cairo that comes in the first place and most Arabs understand it well.
In Jordan 🇯🇴 we say isha (is7a) اصحى for wake up .. and jrabat جرابات for socks

Both gattous and gatto from latin
Gattuso hhhhhh
@@rabroub2052
Actually the root word came from Phoenician, then to Greek and to Latin
Maybe because Tunisia and Italy are neighbors. Also sfenarya( carrot) is similar to Spanish

لهذا ينبغي علينا تدريس الفصحى في المدارس، فحتى إن لم يفهم بعضنا بعضا توحدنا اللغة
من يدعو لتعليم العامية للاجانب، ما هي العامية التي يدرسونها؟ ثم اي كتاب سيقرأون؟
العامية ينبغي ان تتقارب، ينبغي توحيد بعض المصطلحات وادراجها في القواميس، وخاصة المصطلحات التقنية غير المترجمة.
i expected tunisian and morrocan to be the most different but no there was the iraqui i thought they speak the nearest to arabic
he is hilarious i hope i find more videos of him
These are words for objects, so it can be more different.
But when it comes to basics and pronunciation, Iraqi is more similar to standard Arabic than Moroccan.
المغربية ترتكب أخطاء، تتهرب من المصطلحات الصحيحة، مثلا السرير (ناموسية/باياص)، بالنسبة لخزانة الملابس نقول ماريو
على حساب لهجتها
Notice that Morocco is only represented as an Arab state, while half of its citizens are Amazigh.
half? Haha, the percentage of Berbers does not exceed 30%, according to statistics. Morocco is an Arab country in identity, culture, and ethnicity.
