Okay... couple of things:
First, the border between North and South Korea is a demilitarized zone between two actively hostile countries who have been hostile to each other since the ‘50’s. One of those two countries is our ally. That’s why we have soldiers there. Mexico, meanwhile, is our ally; one of our closest, in fact. That’s why we don’t have soldiers along our border with them. See the difference?
Second, we do have strong immigration laws, like Canada and Mexico. We have an incredibly stringent immigration process for people regardless of where they’re coming from. That’s why people come here illegally, because coming here legally is an incredibly tedious, lengthy process. As for how we handle those who come here illegally, frankly not everyone here shares Trump’s views of illegal immigrants, and with good reason. That’s why we don’t just round them up and kick them out, which is what Trump seems to be going for.
Third, as others have already commented sending the National Guard to the border is an impotent gesture; they are prohibited by law to enforce laws on domestic soil. So they can’t do anything while in the US, and if they go into Mexico that would technically be an act of war... with one of our closest allies... so yeah...
Fourth, Amazon is not screwing over the USPS and does pay taxes. Period. End of story. Trump’s accusations against the company are misleading at best, flat out wrong at worst, and little more than a veiled pretense for Trump to go after the Washington Post.
Plus, not to use a whataboutism or anything but... Trump, you’re REALLY going to yell about someone else allegedly not paying their fair share in taxes? YOU?! Of all people?! Mr. “I don’t pay taxes and that makes me smart?”
Tell ya what: show us your tax returns, as you promised to do once you won the election. Let us see exactly how much YOU pay in taxes, as decades worth of your predecessors have done before you. Then we’ll let you weigh in on what is and isn’t fair.
Meanwhile... can it be 2020? Please? This guy really needs to not be in office anymore.

The North/South Korea border is 160 miles long and it takes 32000 soldiers to protect it, the US/Mexico border is 2000 miles long, how many soldiers would it take to protect it the way Don Trump wants it to be protected?

What Trump also failed to mentions is that in South Korea all men, before reaching the age of 30, has to have enlisted to serve 21 months in the military. SK is at war. National service is obligatory - and there is now discussion of extending enlistment to women, too (which should have always been the case, but SK is still lacking in it's equal rights for the sexes). Enforced enlistment is a big contribution to SK having the world's second highest (the last time I checked) suicide rate in men.

According to interviews with some people who have successfully left N Korea, the punishment for trying is extreme. It's death. And sometimes the execution of your nearest family members to discourage other attempts. There's also the threat of if you DO manage to escape, they're going to find your family and kill them as punishment. N Korea is fucking evil.

I don't doubt it's entirely lost on him how much of an issue that border is between the two countries, and how huge a point of contention reunification is. Like, what... the hell? No. US forces stationed in South Korea are not (primarily) responsible for border protection. When I was in the Army stationed there (early 90's, but I think its still this way) the Republic of South Korea Army was responsible for DMZ security. The US Forces - Korea were a few kilometers back from the DMZ primarily in support (mech. Infantry and Artillery) of the ROK Army. The HQ US Army was in Soule, and Air Force Support was even farther south.

So first of all, the post office does not lose money with Amazon, it just makes less due to the bulk rate discount it has with amazon, which is the same as shopping at Sams Club or Costco.... I.e. the more you buy the less it costs. But that doesn’t mean Costco isn’t making money off your purchases.
Secondly, amazon may be hurting businesses, but that’s the thing that happens when your whole economy is based on capitalism. Technology advancement makes things easier, cheaper, and quicker to do. Obviously the small mom and pop stores can not compete except in remote locations. If you think about it, toys r us did the same thing when they opened to the small toy stores. Now toys r us is shutting down because of online shopping. It’s circle of life economically.
Adapt or die. That's the capitalism that Trump and the GOP love so much, but now that it's a so-called liberal company that's adapted to the current online retail market and is dominating, they try to call foul and claim it's unfair. Republicans clearly didn't care when it was Walmart crushing small business owners decades ago because they were a conservative owned company. The rules suddenly change once it's a liberal owned one.
This whole liberal vs conservative bias is ridiculous. We are all American and it really grinds my gears when I hear it. For example, I’m American. I 100% support working for my money and being able to keep it, but also I support paying taxes so that the roads I drive on, the lights on the roads, the school I send my children to, and everything that isn’t my own house or property to be functional, of good quality, and maintained. I don’t want to support people financially, at the expense of the things I mentioned, since many people take advantage of the system to get more for less; but I do believe in helping the poor, disabled, homeless veterans, and those unable to help themselves. I love my country, support our troops, and would defend America in any argument, but also am against bashing someone because they choose to use their freedom to not stand for the anthem, or not do the pledge, simply because it is “unpatriotic”. Would that person stand and fight with me in order to defend our home? Yes I believe they would, even if they are upset with what’s going on in our home. I believe everyone who is responsible should have a gun, and some things have to have limits because we don’t live in the old days anymore. I am not liberal, or conservative. I am American. So where do I stand?
I do feel guilty sometimes when I shop on Amazon, but then I have an experience like yesterday's. I went to my local pharmacy with a list of 8 vitamins and supplements I wanted to buy. The vitamin section was 12 feet long and 6 feet high, packed shelves, and although within a brand it was sort of alphabetical, each of the jillion brands had their own section. I spent a half hour, and located only 2 from my list, and was going crazy trying to find the same thing in each section so I could compare prices. I found one bottle of the Lutein I wanted, walked over to the pharmacist to ask if it was on a two-for-one sale, and when he said yes I went back to get another bottle, AND COULDN'T FIND IT AGAIN! At that point, I walked out, went home, fired up the laptop, and within 15 minutes I had ordered everything I needed, WITH price comparisons. And if I do it again, I'll save gas.
And that's why I shop on Amazon. It's fast and easy.

The company was bought out by one of those raider companies that take over over-leveraged businesses, run them into the ground, take tax advantages, and then strip them to the bones, the parts being often more valuable than the whole.
