  • should you be adding a lapel mic to your #rodeGO system? If so, what to expect. Thank you for watching!
    I love what I do as a wedding and portrait photographer/videographer and I love to share what I have learned because its a hard road (*pun) - to make a living at this sometimes at the beginning - Thanks! Michael Von Pick

    Anyone else getting a Ben Stiller vibe? Loving the unassuming laid-back presentation style. Subbed!

    Useful video, thanks! Do you know if I can connect the rode lavalier go into a Samsung A31 to record audio? (Samsung A31 brings a 3.5 jack port).

      I’m not sure. I know my friend connects it to his iPhone with the proper cable

    Using an android phone, is this a plug n play mic, or do I need an audio app? For some reason, I don't think mine is working. Thanks in advance

  • @LewseeAhh
    @LewseeAhh Před 4 lety +1

    Considering the wireless go but I’ll probably need the wireless lav go as well. Have you heard of any bundles to buy them both together for a cheaper price?

    • @evokestudioio
      @evokestudioio  Před 4 lety

      LewseeAhh The microphone on the pack is pretty good. If you don’t mind it being in view or you have a clever place to hide it.
      Does your camera have audio “in” jack? What are you using now?

    • @LewseeAhh

      EvokeStudio. io im using the canon t5i, i looked it up and it says my camera has a 35mm input so it should work then? It is trs.

    • @evokestudioio
      @evokestudioio  Před 4 lety

      LewseeAhh nice! Yep it’s a 3.5mm input. (Same as a 1/8 headphone jack)

    If the plug-in Rode mic becomes dislodged from the wireless GO reciever, will the built-in mic take over by default?

    • @evokestudioio
      @evokestudioio  Před 4 lety +1

      Art Johnson Great question! Yes. As soon as you unplug the 1/8 inch jack the onboard microphone is automatically working.. I would have to double check. If it became partially unplugged that could be an interruption theoretically. But I will have to check that as soon as I have it back in my hands again

    is there a unidirectional mic available that works with Rode? I have these mics, but get a lot of background noise....

    • @evokestudioio
      @evokestudioio  Před rokem

      That will happen with most in a microphone in this circumstance if you use Final Cut Pro, they’ve added a Brand New tool for this problem that is amazing.

      EvokeStudio. io should i get a recorder(zoom h1n) with the rode lavalier go and sync audio after for street pranks or should i just get the rode wireless go what do you think

    • @evokestudioio
      @evokestudioio  Před 4 lety

      ArabianDork what do you mean by street pranks?
      Depends if your camera has audio input. If so, easier to run it right into the camera. One less thing to buy, one less thing to make sure the batteries are in, one less thing to monitor. Speaking of monitoring. If you run it into your Camera you can monitor the audio in real time. Assuming you have audio input.
