ENTANGLED:
Entangled is the 17th main mission in Starfield. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Entangled main quest.

Trust me man, this happened to everyone. Awful map design. Cool premise jumping from one multiverse to another, just don't turn it into a damn maze.

Was enjoying this mission till near the end where i got lost and couldnt work out how to proceed. The mission was quite unnerving at first and had potential for horror, hope they explore themes like this more in other universes as dlc
It's one of the worst missions I've ever played in any game, hands down. It'd actually be great if it weren't for the terrible map design.

Before you star the mission after living the supervisor' s office, you can also persuade the head of security to give you something to help with the mission and he'll give you a fully modded experimental AA rifle which is very good at killing Robots and Aliens .

Yes this mission was so fresh and fascinating.... then bewildering... then frustrating.... then maddening! I got 90% through. But I needed a lot of help at the end. Either
Nice video. There is also option to save both Universes. Found it out accidentally (on a slate in the control room on the 2nd floor of the lab). But I would solve it for too long if I did it myself, so I found a full instruction how to do it on reddit. But figuring it out yourself is more fun I guess.
I had a bug with Rafael the first time I did this quest, he was stuck in the wall. I waited an hour on a bench nearby and it solved it, just in case this happens to someone else. I also save both universes, you need to do degaussing in both universes before using the main switch, you find the directions for it on the body of Rafael in the "unbroken" universe. It is just down the stairs from the lab. I just wanted to add this if someone has not yet aware.

How did you find the lab? The streamer suddenly teleports at 10:29 and it's not even in order of mission steps. I have no clue where that's at? Im at the elevator where I can go to exit or back to nishim

I have worked it out, you can save both worlds... find Rafaels body in Patels universe in the lower corner of the Lab area... then open the slate on his body and it will give you the info to save all worlds involved... rewards for both!!!!

This mans a hero, my game is bugged i get no quest markers...i kept missing that little cave to the right in the alternate reaserch level that leads to high energy level, and for that matter i have no tracker that gives me a count or location of the 7 switches...god i just wanna finish this dumbass game and unistall...not all heros wear capes but this guy deserves one.

Glad I’m not the only one that had that issue. I usually never try to use a guide because I don’t want spoilers but after an hour of walking around aimlessly not to mention the fact the scanner was useless in pointing me in the right direction.

Look for some glowing Emergency signs, they will have a door that leads to the outside.
So what universe is mine that I started off with ? The distress signal both my companion noticed and went on the planet and when I arrived they told my companion to stay outside , how was my companion affected if it was only to happen to me?
I think the explanation is that because the fascility is built around the artifact, only the area around (the building) is affected by this anomaly.
Is there button where you can shut them down all together because I’m struggling to stay alive with all the shooting all at once plz help me

Some advice for the last part (robots ans torrets):
Get cover in the first panel, wait the robots and kill then. Secondly you use rifle to destroy the torrets from distance. Then you can press the rest of buttons easier. There is a powerful shotgun in that lab, you need one for that mission + around 20 med kit
You can also use artifact powers the shield and armor skin helps a lot
After reading the comments and only coming to see the rewards at the end I feel alittle bit proud of my self I had no trouble making my way through this but I do wonder with what he said at the end is he recruitable?
If you mean can Rafael be saved then yes. You can save both sides. You have to degausse both universes.
The distortion at 28:12 doesn't even give me the prompt to switch guess I'm stuck in this annoying level forever

I hated the robots and turrets in Patel universe so I ended up doing Rafael universe since it was a lot easier
There is an another ending, calibrate freq from both worlds on the computer upstairs, in the end you and Rafael will be transported to the first world where the lab is not destructed.
