I was a young fragile sheep in my first year of my walk with the Lord Jesus, able to be tossed to and fro by every wind of doctrine. But the Lord heard my cry for wisdom and knowledge, those who are Christ's will hear his voice, they will follow the truth, he will guide his elect!

Sometimes in our deep searching we forget to laugh and have fun. It's nice to see these guys enjoying themselves.

Oh man! Beginning at 29.13-a question posed to Sinclair about Christ praying in Gethsemane, and asking The Father to let this cup pass from him, garnered us much wisdom and understanding of this subject by Dr Ferguson!! Obviously he has wrestled with this text and I really appreciated his answer here. Helps my mind to comprehend such Beautiful, Ghastly, Merciful Truth of The Good News.
What a GRACIOUS GOD WE SERVE! Thank you Ligonier for these videos!🙏🏼♥️

I admire men of faith such as these. The analysis of the problems in the emerging church movement is spot on--particularly the preaching piece: "the only dialogue that matters is the dialogue I have with God as a response to solid preaching." Amen.

So very thankful for the teaching of the bible, after being in the fell good church, watered down word of God,picking out, instead of the truth just to pick out what they look for to try to bring truth out of what they want, what a refreshing time it is to hear men of God bring forth the truth of God's word in its fullness. For the last 8 years my life has chanced with a deeper understanding and a greater desire to know God and study His living word.I thank God for these humble Godly men who continue to teach and preach the truth regardless of the ungodly or worldly people have to say in judgements .We will all stand before God for our lives are and give an account for every good and evil thing we have done.Glory to God.

Excellent! I love Sinclair Ferguson's response to "How do you respond to someone who believes you can lose your salvation?"
"I think, I think by... showing them from the New Testament, that you can't."
    AMEN 😊

Have you ever seen anyone have so much fun? It is sad that the occasional non-believer will assume that we, as Christians struggling to please God and "behave" ourselves, do not have any fun.

If, by "the emerging Church" the questioner means the "feel good; what can God do for me" focus that is so pervasive in contemporary worshipping Church, .......I'd direct the questioner to "The Juvenalization of American Christianity."

We are Ligonier supporters and proud participants in their conferences. The humor and joy that resonates from these men when they speak makes my heart smile. However, I was very disappointed with C.J.'s answer on the Emerging Church. I found it not humble at all and wavering like he wanted to be all tip toeish around the matter. I felt he should have simply said the only information I have on it is what I have read from such and such book.

I have listened to & read R. C. since he was in PA in early 1970's and I have consumed truly countless hours (in my mind, countless) praying for and supporting Ligonier too. Sinclair Ferguson is absolutely another I can hear all day...he and R.C are alike in making plain the bible. I love the Conferences of Ligonier but (kindly said) it is difficult listening to Mahaney, who sounds forever like Uriah Heep with his castigating himself...we will take his word he is nothing, he is humble, (& he must not speak much for he knows little...but talks until I am near anxiety.)
Last, I think some wd be better off (Mahaney, Steve Lawson & Robt. Horton) giving a guided message (notes, etc) and leave the Q & A's to others.
I cannot imagine Mahaney in a pulpit unless he metamorphosises.

Too much joking around at many of these conferences. I have seen other Q & A's as well were stupid sports, golfing jokes, football etc., eat up precious limited time they have to answer serious questions some may have.

    lose the WORDLY SUIT.
The western suit is a upside-down pentagram.
It even has the goat ears.
Do you really claim the SUIT is not worldly?
A nice dress sweater pants and shoes is good.
