  • Yamaha's new FG5 Red Label series aims to bring the sound of vintage guitars over to the modern era. Yamaha's Acoustic Resonance Enhancement technology essentially fast tracks the guitar's aging process to create a guitar that has the lush warmth, depth and nostalgia of a 1960's vintage guitar.
You can purchase this guitar at Australia's largest online music shop, Carlingford Music Centre. Find out more at: carlingfordmus...

Great review, fantastic guitar! Despite similarities with D-18 it has proprietary Yamaha bracing and its own unique sound. I love mine :)

Yeah as everybody can see at your troll comment.... When someone sees it that way so it's his feeling point. Maybe it's time to grow up and let other persons be, take a walk outside and look at yourself.

I tried a few martins and taylors in the 3000-4000 range, i was impressed. Tried the fg5 at half the price for fun... I was blown away. Bought one on the spot. Sorry martin and taylor

Sadly that pickguard is not real wood and feels horrible. I removed mine.

@John wayne you’re talking nonsense about the top of the guitar. It’s all a.r.e treated. It’s not torrefied either, it’s their own method

@@jamesdoctor8079 And nowhere near the D18 people try to compare it to. Good guitar for the money though.
