Vintage Taylor 610 - Is this the vintage guitar for you?
zhlédnutí 1,8KPřed 2 lety
This Vintage Taylor 610, built in 1988, is the original take on Taylor's 610 series. It has aged beautifully over 30 years, and has all the characteristics of a traditional acoustic dreadnought. Whilst modern guitars are pushing the boundaries of guitar cratsmanship, this 1988 Taylor 610 is a reminder that simplicity goes a long way and dare I say it, there's a lot of beauty in ordinary things!...

Correct The T in T10D stands for "tribute" not "traditional" although this model is a homage to the traditional dreadnought guitars from Martin and Gibson from the 60s and 70s. The days of chalking up upwards of $5000 and a kidney or two to buy a high-end premium guitar are over! Enya guitars whilst relatively new to the Australian market, have been building high quality guitars at an affordabl...

The Cole Clark Little Lady 2 is an all Tasmanian blackwood back and sides travel sized guitar that is certainly one to turn heads at first glance. I bought this guitar in 1989 in Portland Oregon. At the time I thought it was the best sounding guitar I'd ever heard. I liked it better than the Martins I tried. I was into bright sounding guitars then and this one just shimmered. Honestly, mine sounded better than the one you're playing, but I think the strings were different. I loved that guitar for a long time but eventually it was too big for me, i got tired of the brightness, and I developed tendinitis in my hand which the narrow neck exacerbated. So I sold it. Now I have an old Martin. But this 610 is without a doubt a sparkling, rich, magical sounding guitar. I just went looking for my old Taylor online on the off chance it was being sold. It's hard to miss because I dropped an iron on it and there's a distinctive ding down by the bottom. What do you know, I'm pretty sure I found it at a Guitar Center in Houston. Now I want it back! But it's a little spendy just for nostalgia. I miss it though. I really do.

This guitar would be optimized plugged in. The advantage is that when doing an acoustic solo guitar mix it's easier to mix bass in than mix bass out. One can make a small guitar sound huge. However, for a touring solo singer-songwriter carbon fiber is best as it's impervious to temperature or humidity variations. That being said this is the best sounding travel guitar I've ever heard.
