Sindaco your channel is becoming a legitimate source of African cultural and culinary education. Keep up the good work 👏🏾
Aww 🥰 thank you 🙏🏿, keep sharing and watching ❤️
The Fante influence on the coast of West Africa and Angola is unmatched. Fantes are brave, daring and adventurous. We actually spread the fishing culture to many places with the best fishing practices creating economies in several West African nations.
BUT AN AMANKWAAH WAS ALREADY THERE. GHANAIANS ARE ADVENTUROUS
💯✊🏾
But Ghanian always asks people to leave their country they are all over in west Africa
@@Am_Manasa Remember, at that time Africa wasn't as populated as today. These guys have become part of Gambia's Economy. THEY STILL GO BACK HOME, BUT THEIR ALSO NEEDED HERE.
@@Am_Manasa Also remember Ghana can't afford to host the whole Africa right now. Maybe someday!!
There are many gambians living in Ghana, especially in Brogahafo religon. We Gambia Number 1 and Gambia Number 2 in Brong - ahafo.
Yeah
I’m few miles away from there
it's amazing to hear them speak Fanti, & still remember their Akan culture!!!!
Even there children speak Fante more then some Fante kids i know in Ghana 🇬🇭 thanks for watching kindly share
@@cookingwithsindaco True
Great story. No wonder Ghana is familiar with Gambia national anthem. They even sung along during the African games in Ghana. Gambians are nice people.
Wow 😮 really????? Thanks for watching, please share and subscribe 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿
@@cookingwithsindaco Yeah I saw a shorts video of it and they singing along. I'm Ghanaian and I know that song too but didn't know it relates to Gambia anthem.
Point of correction they sung the National anthem of Zambia but not Gambia. Get your facts right
@@kobbyeben5398 You should rather get your fact right.

My wife is from Ghana town. Everyone is friendly, approachable and easy going out there as the video proves and the beach is beautiful and it's simply the best place to live in the Gambia.

I'm a Cameroonian , but I also love Gambia . I have been to Serekunda and stayed at Karaba Hotel.
I love this little country so much.
We love you too 🥰
Thank you so much!! 😊
What impresses most about this old man is that fact that he still speaks the Fanti very fluently with no foreign accent to it. This is fantastic and a lesson to those of us in the diaspora.
They have really tried, even their kids speak the fantas
interesting, story, good job, doing amazing work 👌
A special story near and dear to me. Thank you Sindaco for sharing.
I'm a Gambian who lived in Brufut and attended Brufut Primary school up to Primary 3. One of my best friends Kofi lived in Ghana Town just a km or so from the school. He used to invite me to his home on some weekends and I would have him at ours on other weekends. We were very young then.
I'm excited to hear that your guide has almost completed a book on the history of Ghana Town, is it possible to get his contact from you? I believe there's an opportunity to work with him because I'm an author myself, but a civil engineer. Haruna Darbo
Thanks in advance.😊

Good stuff Bro. I know everywhere in Ghana town and that's where my family and I always bought our kenkey during my 3 years stay in Gambia as an expatriate.. I lived at Brufut Heights, TAF Estates opposite the then Sheraton Hotel. It is just a short distance from Ghana town.

The people of that land are my ppl, my tribes people, they left ghana by ship to Europe and mistakenly landed on there many decades ago, they decided to make life there
Is there any way you can help me get in touch with Emmanuel?
I taught him computer literacy. We were in touch but lost contact few years ago. Please 🙏🏾
Is there a straight bus from Ghana to Gambia? Or you linked from Ivory Coast by bus
Yes, there is one from accra to Dakar and then Dakar to Gambia. It is all connected
You can also get from kumasi ahen boboano and that one is straight. And I know some of truck drivers I can give you their number but they move from mankesim and connect to kumasi any info write me
@@phirenetv2690Please give me a contact of truck driver's that I can contact because I would really like to come over to Gambia
Nice story, bro please 🙏, try and locate all countries that he mentioned and interview the Ghanaians over there
kafountine /senegal...not fare away gambia.
We are African
The two of you sound so alike. You could pass for brothers.
Thanks for showing the world of ghana town. Can the guy go to airport to find out how he can export the fish to Europe?
Olasti ,the guy ..
Where about is this Ghana town? I didn’t hear of Ghana town when I used to visit the Gambia in the 90s. I used to lodge in a hotel in bskau cape something something. I used to visit serekunda, Banjul, faraja or so
It was dre since before you visit in the 90s
How can we get in touch to help?
See how they are happy, greeting, and laughing. Heaven is in our hearts but not in the sky. Religion scam truly.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Woda Maya .. ghanaian and a fante from central region !! famous u tuber visit ghana town !! I wonder what he did for the community or the legacy he left them in gambia ghana town ..
Maybe they should appeal to Ghana for subsidy, just like Jamaica was subsidized for decades!!
The guy surely meant 1981 not 1961😂😂
You should have asked the Oldman if he is now a Muslim, he was dressed as one. Gambia is predominantly Muslim country.
I believe the name confirms it
Hope Gambia is looking better now. Not developed.
kindly keep quiet for the guy to talk you are ruining the interview
What are you doing in that country after they kill a lot of Ghanaians in 2005
Really, what happened ?
Nigerians killed thousands of Ghanaians, too. But still, there are a lot of Ghanaians in Nigeria and a lot of Nigerians in Ghana.
@@CHIKATA787their former president jammeh ordered for 44 migrant Ghanaians and a few Nigerians, who were in Gambia en route to Senegal/Europe, to be killed, suspecting them to be spies
@@CHIKATA787Nigerians killed 1000s of Ghanaians? When, where?
It’s amazing they named there “Ghana town” even though they were Fantses. We all know some tribes would have named there after themselves 🙄😝
Just be bold and name the tribe that would have done that, and provide some examples. Some of you bring tribalism into everything.
Can any Gambian tell me the meaning of “NYANK” ?
Thats you 😂😂 it’s means bantu people
Government must bring all of them home
For what ?
Most of this peoples are Gambian Ghanian. so why will they want to leave
@@samuelbaah7017 to come and stay in Ghana… look at their condition over there
Why would the Ghana government take people to Ghana who aren’t born there, and they prefer the country of their birth better, the escort says some try to stay in Ghana but they eventually returned to Gambia
The coup was in July 1981 not 1961.
they should've gone to France 🇫🇷 . their lives would have been far better
The story he's saying is not real 😊
Ghanaian imam is the one saying the thruth man
It's a an area in Brufut and Gambians there BRUFUT GHANATOWN 🇬🇲🇬🇭
