The American media would never show this side of Iraq, let alone the fact that black people live there in harmony. All we see is a war-torn country. Thank you, BDT, for opening our eyes.
Actually they did during the second war. I saw it on the news myself.
Exactly
Why would they? The introduction of Europeans into the Americas was in founded in White Supremacy.
From the 1452 Papal Bull Edict from the Pope (Dum Diversas) to this present day.
The American media Floods the airwaves and internet with 95% negative images of Black People worldwide.
What would be the benefit to show it ? You say this as if we should care , most Americans are too busy working & paying bills.
@@ComeBackKid1lie on welfare or food stamps on meth and living in there parents trailer home or basement.
“Black” people are indigenous to many “middle eastern” countries. Not all of them were brought over as slaves.
Black people are indigenous to all countries. There is not one country in the world where we were not there first
@@kerubel1436😂😂😂😂😂😂😂daddy chill
No they are not , these black folk here in Iraq are descended from slaves taken by Arabs hundreds of years ago .. Arab slave trade took millions of sub Saharan Africans ! There was a famous slave revolt in Iraq a few hundred years ago

I was one of the soldiers you’re referencing. I was even more shocked to meet black Mexicans and Mexico is right next to my home state of Texas.

as a Black American myself, it is always nice to see Black people across the world who they try to hide. but learn the language, they're more likely to have a connection based on language, not skin color
We are not "Black." We are the true copper colored Indigenous (Original) people of the land here in America. We were always here before anybody else. 👀👁👀👁👀

Relax . What you are doing is sin. We are all of light and sound * once u forget you will be forever in a state of ponder
To exhume that essence of being over other beings - of ur pigment alone is blasphemy. Where do you think WE ALL COME FROM . Really think about it.
What do we really know aside from the personal agendas we push, or self conscious start to tune into . Wether it makes little to no sense .
Every one born on earth is indigenous to earth 🌍 😅
I was surprised to meet Black Chinese working at an Amusement Park in ShenZhen (special economic zone) of China. Called Windows of the World. Dark like me with woolley hair!! They did speak English, Mandarin & their own tribal language. They approached me because I had braids & they did not know how to braid or twist their own hair. 2 males & 1 female about 25-28 yrs old. I had a water bottle and Queen Helene coco butter lotion in my travel bag. Sat each one down individually and braided two and twisted the female's hair. Gorgeous, healthy full heads of hair about shoulder length. I taught the lady how to braid on the spot in 15 mins. A wonderful experience for them, but an eye opening humble experience for ME!! Just friendly, informative and brotherly love all around!! This was amazing!!
What? No way 😂😂😂😂
You are a bold face liar! Shame on you.
You are an angel.

Your experience proves how fascinating and wonderful life can be. Kudos to you!
I’m 66 y/o Black American woman and I’m ashamed to say I didn’t know there were Blacks in Iraq…
I’m pleasantly surprised !!! 😊 🇮🇶 🇺🇸
Me too
There are 2 million Black Iraqis in Iraq
Black are also in Bandar Abbas , Iran mostly from East Africa.
What is the guy speaking about volume is so low even when he's shouting
I thought that everyone knew that we were/are everywhere... ✌️
Remember the Middle East was once Africa. The Suez Canal, a man-made waterway connecting the Mediterranean and Red seas and separating the Asian and African continents, is a major route of the international shipping trade.
Yelp before the first world war
Then the Europeans came...and drew lines in the sand...and said " We hearby declare, that this is the line where the middle east begins...and Africa ends.
Now let us go devide Africa herself.
TO THE VICTOR GO THE SPOILS 😂😊😊😂
Middle East ???? 😮Does not exist it is north East Africa. Time, real time for the real truth
West Asia(“Middle East”) was Never Africa. Africa was once Asia. There are ancient maps that showed this… Africa come from Rome…
Exactly. Similar thing happened with Egypt and thats why many dont connect it with Africa even though it’s literally North Africa. Most of the original inhabitants there and Egypt have been pushed out but like this video shows there is a small but sizable remnant still there.
This video brought happy tears to my eyes because I am a 3 time combat vet and in my two tours to Iraq I have never met more beautiful people. I have always said middle easterners love harder, have more respect and are far more rich in spirit than any other culture in the world. Glad to see this vid
what were you doing in iraq ????
I bet Our People from Sudan, Yemen and Ethiopia will be Iraqi in hospitality and kindness. Glory to be Allah for sending the merciful for mankind( Prophet Mohammed) to us.
I am a U.S. military retiree (African American) who was deployed to Zakho, Iraq in 1991. I had the opportunity to meet both Kurds and other populations located in the Northern part of the country. Though I don't totally understand the way the women are treated in their society/culture, I found most of those living in the area to be friendly towards myself and other blacks. I did cross paths with a few blacks folks living in the area, but had little to no interaction with them.
They are so resilient. They keep coming back after all that destruction. And it's not about the money. They'll gladly give you the shirt off their back
Your govt sold you a lie. Because they were jealous of the iraqis
Im from Iraq Baghdad, i love this video alot beautiful people positive energy.
big up iraq
There is no somali black iraqi or whatever you saying, this guy needs a history lesson wtf, arabs didnt come to somalia, what kinda BS is this??
This is probably the most mind blowing video I’ve seen from you. Shout out to our brothers and sisters in Iraq ✊🏾
It's mind blowing cause we don't travel. Lived in Kuwait for 3 years and even the light skin arabs said the original kuwaitis were black. whether that is true or not ppl in those countries don't care about color
@@m-jay356 Heck even in the 10+ books Ive read regarding the Christian Crusades there is simply an irrefutable fact that HUMANS of all backgrounds and cultures were navigating and trading around the known world. It is mindblowing and comforting to see how much color doesnt matter though. Love this Channel and what he does to show the world and its REAL people from a REAL persons POV
These aren't black people. What makes these our brothers and sisters? They look like indians, darkskin arabs
@@m-jay356 we have a saying in Arab specially in gulf countries Arab marry a white women or light skin to make a better light skin lineage so children look better

Hello 👋🏾
Is there a way to distinguish between the black iraqis who are indigenous to Iraq compared to the ones who were brought there through slavery?
Iraqis is not an ethnicity
They aren't native to that land.
Most of them are slaves
@@Jah_Nzolaindigenous Iraqis only exist in your imagination
@@Jah_Nzola. No l am an ancient resident of lraq and l have a black race There is no racism at all
I'm baffled! I would've never believed it without seeing this. Those Black dudes look American.
Most Black people do not live in America. As I travel the world and meet other Black people, we just nod when we see each other if we can't verbally communicate. We recognize each other when we meet.
@@chakesluv I understand that most Black people don't live in America. But I do. And those dudes look American to me. Had I seen them here and walked past them, unless they spoke, I would've never known they were from elsewhere.

Nope they aren't indigenous as history recorded at they were sold into the arab slave trade.
Thank you❤❤❤❤
My mind is in overload. Never knew there were Black Iraqis. Much ❤ to you brotha from South Carolina
All of the middle eastern countries have alot of black people. Black Saudis , Qataris, Kuwaiti, Omanis etc. Old old tribes
I actually met a few Bruhs from Basra during my tours in Iraq. It took a while to see them because they mainly live in the deep southern parts of Iraq. They were kind and generous.
That's usually the case. They normally systematically push black pple out of sight. Black Africans need to do more to make it easy for our black brothers and sisters in the so called middle east to trace their ancient lineage link to find their families in the rest of Africa.
The Barber shop scene is sooo cool. One love from Jamaica. 🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲♥️🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲
My favorite part too! 🇺🇸🇯🇲🇮🇶🤝🏾❤️
as an Iraqi from northern Iraq to me they are just Iraqis I never thought about colors
@@AsscherMazzelaarI won’t dispute what you said about Europe and America but I don’t think the Middle East is absolved. They’re still practicing slavery disguised as domestic workers in places like Lebanon and Oman. Tunisia’s president made a speech that incited violence against black Africans. I can go on but these are just examples that shows it’s not only the US and Europe that notices race. But I do agree with you that there’s too much race baiting on CZcams
This is not accurate! You may not call them blacks, you call them slave though- abiid! Be real and acknowledge. The ex slaves are still black, because you don’t marry abiid
@@AsscherMazzelaarI agree that there’s too much race based content on social media but disagree that other parts of the world aren’t color conscious. There are severe human rights violations occurring as we speak in Lebanon, Oman and Tunisia
Stop lying. You arabs treat black people worse than anyone ✋️
Most Northern Iraqis (not kurds) are arabized they are a mix of Persians and other aincent near Eastern peoples with additional sub Sharan admixture from the slave trade 👨🏿🦲
Black is power they are everywhere
Migration is a thing
Black power ??? 🤔🤔🤔🤔
@@user-sz8km9dy5vLMAOOOOOO
They're there because Africans sold other Africans into slavery in the Middle east, not really a "black power" moment
Don’t start making statements like the European we are all humans and the power only belong to God
