I was born in Sierra Leone and I grew up in the smile cost of Africa Gambia, Gambia is the best place to live and have peace in your live I love Gambia and Gambian people
I'm a Sierra Leonean also, stay bless
Wow. I can’t even believe a whole country will do this for another country’s people. This is just beautiful. God Bless Gambia
The Gambia is the only country I know of where Africans live together in harmony regardless of their origins. Ghanaians are very much loved in The Gambia. I went to schools owned and ran by Ghanaian, (Glory Baptist Primary School, Deeper Life School) and most of my teachers were Ghanaian and made great impact on my life. They are also expert fishermen, also that kenke with shito, red sauce and fried fish, let me stop because hunger is calling my name. 😋
Exactly dear
Harmonious??? And they killed 44 Ghanaians while the ppl stood back and watched.... Where's the outcry from the Gambian masses on this issue
Nana Kwasi I just researched what you said since I was clueless to what you were talking about. That case was very sad and unsettling to hear and read. As you have made your statement, you failed to mention that people knew what was occurring under that leader but dare not speak for fear of being put to death. It is dangerous to tell a single story, every nationality including Gambian suffered under that leadership, so be truthful and fair. Do not promote propaganda to divide the people. Please.
@@nanakwasi7317 massa u dey talk too much. Just enjoy the video. It's a beautiful story.
Right that’s it then. The Gambia it is then as a next holiday. G&G we go together paaa
This should be shown on Ghana televisions
They knew about it cus most of your head of state have visited Ghana Town before..
Actually most west African countries around the coast, do have Ghanaian settlements that accumulated from migrant fishermen from the Central Region. Liberia has West |Point, S/Leone has a sizable Ghanaian fishing community, Benin as well
Only kumkumbagia they show
I support this idea
I'm a Gambian but I love Ghanaian take Gambia as your country and your home you guy's most welcome
You are not Gambian bro. That is what the Europeans decided to re-name you, just like all other African countries. At least call yourself African from western Africa.

@@getoutofthematrix3757 are you mad ? The eoropeans did not name all african countries. Ghana was named by a Ghanaian himself. Do your research before making noise.

Ghanaian in the Gambia are the most humble peaceful hard working brother we ever leave with in the Gambia.they have well contributed immensely to Gambia academically up to now I have a big honour for Ghanaian wherever I meet them, even presently in the USA. We appreciate all there support and contribution to the Gambia.but one thing our government HV NT been looking after them, the Ghanaian community in the Gambian should be compensated well by building an estate for them, they been leaving there for ages let's look after them the Gambia.bless you Ghana baby Aya maya
Good point you've made there. I suggest we start a project ("Build Ghana Town") and contribute into that fund for the development of Ghana Town. $3 USD each from 10million contributors is $30m USD. This can create a meaningful lifestyle for our family in Gambia's Ghana Town.
I am a Gambian bt I been living with Ghanaian for so long bt they are very honest peoples kind ..we love u all ma Ghanaian brothers n sisters one love🤟💓💓💓

This is such a beautiful story, all Africans should feel welcome and at home in any part of our continent. I am from Senegal 🇸🇳, I remember excitedly running as a child to the Ghanaian auntie’s house to buy AKARA , all West Africans make AKARA ,but Ghanaians make it best! you are wonderful and welcoming people my Gambian 🇬🇲 brothers.

rebecca kumuamba 🤣😂😂 I’ve never tasted the one from Togo sister, I have a friend from Togo here, I will ask her to make it for me , I am sure it’s good . From Benin 🇧🇯 , I have ,when I travelled to Cotonou as a teenager with my mom, it was delicious! In Senegal 🇸🇳 we have a proverb about marriage and AKARA, we say “ she who wants AKARA must like pepper” , when a woman or man complain that marriage is difficult, we say that to them to
encourage them to face the difficulties of marriage and not give up. I like putting AKARA in a nice baguette 🥖 with spicy 🌶 tomato and onion sauce!!! So good.

@@nanakwasi7317 Please differentiate. It's President Jammeh who has blood in his hands. Nobody escaped from his evil & mischief. He killed his own family members too. He's a psychopath who was power hungry & would get rid of anyone he thinks are detrimental to his government. He thought that the killed migrants were mercenaries coming to topple his government.

When people ask me, I learn to say I'm AFRICAN first, before saying NIGERIA. These names Ghana, Nigeria,Gambia, Sierra Leone etc are weak in and of themselves especially at the world stage but when they come together, they are more powerful. These names are reminiscing of the BERLIN CONFERENCE, the greatest evil perpetuated after the transatlantic slave trade. AFRICA UNITE
To be fair the name Ghana comes from the Ghana empire which the Akan claim lineage from when they migrated once the empire fell...Ghana empire became the mali empire..so that's why they chose that name...but I agree with your sentiments...africa unite
@@abibjahleel419 your right brother. Ghana was a powerful empire around the time of Songhai empire and that is why Ghana was huge in the early message of pan africanism, thanks to our great ancestor kwame nkrumah. He has given us the blueprint. Any generation that had the balls to materialize his dream, will witness the new Africa. Our strength has always been in our unity.that is why European imperialist called it divide and conquer.now what unites us??? OUR MELANIN. We can start from there. I love and respect you my brother
Abib Jahleel I am so impressed that you guys know our ancient history! You are right about Ghana, Mali and the Songhai empires , the Mali empire was so big in West Africa, it went all the way to Ghana , to Senegal, Guinée 🇬🇳, Burkina, Niger, Mauritania etc ... it was a massive empire and Ghana was a glorious and rich empire in its time. African history is amazing .
@@caro8712 much love and respect to the both of you ✊🏿
marvin ezekiel you are right brother, so impressed with you guys. I love our African history, in West Africa, the Ghana empire was known as WAGADOU and its rich Capital was known as KOUMBI SALEH, It was located in the area of present-day southeastern Mauritania , Eastern part of Jolof, and western Mali. The Word GHANA or GA’NA was the title given to the ruler of WAGADOU, it was populated by the tribes of the Mande/ Manding, Soninke, Malinke etc... you still find these tribes throughout West Africa today, in fact the most spoken language in West Africa today is the language of the former WAGADOU/ GHANA empire which is Mande’ or Manding, there is a theory from some African historians that Manding is the mother language of most of the other West African languages. Ghana was a glorious empire , complex societies based on trans-Saharan trade with salt and gold that existed in the region since ancient times made this empire very rich.
