Let's come together and do it inspite of the leaders. The revolution will start at grassroot level. We will build industries across Africa , buy and sell among ourselves within Africa. They will not be able to stop this quiet revolution and eventually the leadership will also change to reflect the values and mindset of the people. Its a generational thing but we will do it.

I mostly agree but most of my friends are still alive so her friends must have been eating wrong and under stress. In fact most blacks our age are still alive but yes the stress is real. Though I must say I never felt a connection to Africa when I went to Kenya - but I loved the people but when I went to Barbados and have been many times I felt I am at home.
And no the Queen doesn't own the land that your home is on! What she is talking about is if you own an apartment and it is leasehold - the leaseholder owns the land but you own the apartment like what I have. However, if you own a house you own both land and property outright.

forget about the government its becoming a broken record. we know what it is. we know that they are puppet masters, we should all come together and unite and put the finances in Africa instead of working like a slave in The West. The system in the West is not built for us

I’ve been to Gambia and though it’s a very small and beautiful country it certainly no paradise. There is lots of poverty. The only reason why these people are doing well is because they have built up wealth on English privilege. Where is the dignity of 3 big cars when we people on the streets of Gambia are starving. BS

There is poverty everywhere around the world. And Absolutly there is not perfect country. Even in the USA 🦅 there is poverty. In Africa there is solidarity, loving each other. The thing does not exist in the western world . I am from Guinea-Bissau the country that is closest to Gâmbia. I am living now here in Turkey .

Wow! This sister is for real. Truly African spirit in display. Materialism (western focus) vs spiritualism (African way). It is all about family, friendship and community. One other thing is absolutely no thugs in uniform (so called police) trying to kill and a public that is hostile.

OMG, I left off for a while, and now, look at your home!! Beautiful. I remember asking you all years ago, how much land was it that you have? You all were saying, that we want to put a pool here and this there. It was just land at that time. So proud of you all. I did manage to make it to the Continent since then, Ghana, but want to visit Gambia soon. Congratulations. I now edit this conversation, 2 months later. I have purchased land in the Gambia. Will be bringing manufacturing to the country. Lord's will.
