Hardly, 80 mph seems to be the sweet spot for long rides on my New mt 07. Of course I've never had a bike with a windshield. I have a Toyota Tacoma if I need a windshield.
Been watchin a lot of videos recently on first bikes and really considered the R6 but the FZ-07 (or MT) has just taken me by heart for sure. Looks definitely aren't a 10 stock but that sound is unbeatable. Love the videos man! Keep up the great content. Really down to Earth and not cliche.
MT07 guna be a real good choice man! And yeh was the same with me I never liked the look of them but then all of a sudden they grew on me quick in the space of like 2 weeks and I grabbed one haha

What exhaust are you using?
I used to ride a Drz super moto and anything over 65-70 was wartime with the wind, hopefully this is better in comparison because the bike is a bit heavier. Looking to pick one up in spring for a solid year of riding! Hell yeah dude

I know what you mean even though its the same amount of steps to get out the door... Im always more hesitant to get the fireblade out than I was the mt09 for just smaller rides.

Yo bro I liked your video since I heard number 1 and 2. I was laughing big time cause it's true. BBBBBUT. I wanted to hear something like "your front tire will always have less miles than your back tire." Bro this shit wheelies without fcking asking. Its just brutal
Haha that’s a good point I just havnt mastered the 1 wheel business yet lol only pop it up and run it out a bit, was learning soon as I got it but now the place where I got is slippy af wheel just slips
When it’s dry I pop it up here and there just to keep the feeling for being alien when it gets dry again
But yeh the front wheel flys up like it’s nothing lol
@@TARZANMotoVlogs mine is tuned and I have a quickshifter on it as well. So yeah trust me I get what you mean with spin ahaha. But when i find good surface things turn wild. Also a hint. 3rd gear clutch up with 80kmh or 70kmh for me is ideal. I learned how to keep it up like that. Buuut keep in mind that one mistake and there's gon be huge damage ://

I have a 2018 yamaha mt 07, and im worried about that clunking sound when shifting gears, not just to 1st but from 1st to 4th..
Is your clutch lever adjusted properly? Could also be down by the engine - search how to adjust clutch on CZcams if you haven’t checked this
The 07 doesn’t have the smoothest gear box
Check if the clutchless shifts are smooth from 2-4
Is it only on upshifts? Or down and up?
@TARZANMotoVlogs clutch lever is adjusted with the right play and all. It is more likely to do it on upshift but also on downshift, maybe depending on timing..on reddit conversations with other mt 07 owners. They said the same. That gear box on it is it not the smoothest, so it could be more or less normal... mines has 6k miles on it. What do you think?
@@D27scorpio there is a good chance it it normal especially with only 6k miles on it, like I said try the clutches up shifts and I would think you will feel if there is a problem with the gearbox / clutch plates that way... im no mechanic tho haha im not sure how experienced you are but incase I miss the reply and you are new to riding, to clutches upshift just accelerate fast or at least be around mid rpms or higher, put a small amount of pressure on the shifter, roll on and off the throttle and kick the shifter up to the next gear (you should only roll off by about 40% throttle - its pretty much quick shifting without a quick shifter and completely fine to do), if you are experienced then sorry for the explanation haha I just never know on the channel and don't want to miss your reply,
If its shifting smooth then its should be normal I would think cause then any clunkiness would be down to lever adjustment. But yeh the MT07 is a 'budget' motorcycle so it might be normal especially around low rpms but I love the 07 for what it is I am currently on my third one and never had any problems touch wood, my first one was thrown down the road by previous owner and no problems, second I still own in uk and trying to sell, third I just bought out here in brasil and its the only bike I wanted - I do want a Africa twin eventually but I would keep the 07 lol I love the bike, unless I end uo with a T7 instead
I hope the info helped, enjoy the 07 man people get too ahead of themselves which is why no one can ride properly and there's so many accidents, the 07 is perfect and under appreciated by too many people

@@D27scorpio no problem, careful who you listen to online in fact don't listen to anyone online about riding except Brian 636 and motojitsu, and read 2 books - twist of the wrist 2 & total control - this will keep you so much safer while making you a better and more confident rider and will make sure you don't get lost listening to all the content creators who can't ride,
in spare time go and practice slow maneuvers and get comfortable on your bike so its a comfortable as walking. Learn your brakes, practice your rear brake on slow maneuvers with counter balancing, and when it comes to wheelies learn properly or don't learn at all don't do what these content creators do power wheelie down the road, go to a strip / lot and practice at slow speeds and learn properly this will keep you safe and also the people you ride with
I hope all this helps, you have one of the best bikes that have been made and only good riders really appreciate the 07s - its not till you get on something more powerful that you appreciate these bikes even more because of how usable and fun they are

@@bazilewillems4625 2015, hypertune forks and shocks, ftecu, double braided brakes etc which has 6k miles done. Nevwe been raced. Previous owner had used this bike for learning.
Isn't the stock exhaust of 2021 model different from 2020? I think the sound is much better

Cbr is a inline4 right? This will be more enjoyable in city but on big roads the cbr with its higher top speed and fairings

Ive got the akra titanium and I can tell you that even this video dont do it justice, it rumbles through your chest, and the pops and bangs sound like gunshots. :)
