I'm just starting a 72 hour fast and totally didn't need to see this. They look great!
Postpone it. Start in a couole of hours. Haha
@@westcoasthustle6133 LOL. I'm already committed, but I'm not exaggerating when I say that I started salivating the moment Matt showed the cookies. I know what I'll be making Sunday when I'm off the fast.đ
@@SeriousKeto I'm on day 4 of a planned 30 day fast, my mouth is watering too
@@byronjames3437 I cannot even fathom a 30 day fast. I just posted a video on my channel kicking off my 72 hour fast -- if you have any valuable fasting advice that you can add to the comments section, that would be great.
@@SeriousKeto I will check it out
I'll bet using ghee instead of butter would give them a gorgeous but caramel-ly flavour!
That sounds good, thanks.
Iâve never liked coconut flakes, but Iâve noticed that my taste buds have changed since being on keto...this recipe looked so delicious I just had to try it! I made it today and OMG!!! So fantastic!!! Thanks for the recipe!
I can't get sound but looks good
Hold on! Almond butter would have made them almond joys!! đ
You're right. We might need to try that
Almond butter and almonds instead of peanut butter an pecan
I made almost this exact same thing but instead of pecans I used almond slivers
YUM!!
Oooh yes! I'm going to try that and use some coconut oil. Yum!
I'm going to try this with toasting the coconut first. Great video!
Back in my Keto days these would be so wanted. Iâm happy to watch others
"Baking's an exact science!"
"It's not baking, when they're 'no bake'." *taps forehead*
I'd say that pumpkin seeds or flax seeds would be good in these too!!
âSayings that donât make senseâ the makings of a great Dad, Matt!
Using a really good Dutch Coco makes a world of difference! You must try it
Cathy Nichols where do you get Dutch cocoa?
Made these last night and they're almost gone already, delicious! I was not measuring for peanut butter and overdid the PB a bit but still delicious and gave me more cookies. They are much better after they have been out of freezer for a while and held in refrig versus frozen. My daughter doesn't like coconut so mixed it all except the coconut and put a small amount in another bowl to add hulled hemp seeds to her mix. I sampled the hemp seed mix and liked it so much that I added hemp seeds to the coconut mix. Will definitely make these again, thanks for the recipe!
Saved this video yesterday. Watched this morning. Made these this afternoon. Pure deliciousness. Thank you â€ïžâ€ïž
We made these last night, delicious! I did not measure anything so I had to add 2 tablespoons of coconut flower and WOW!! Love them:))
Thank you. I wanted something sweet and not too high glycemic. And no heating up the house with the oven. Perfect. I have all of the ingredients already.
Hi Geraldine. I have this keto program that can help you. You want me to share it with you?
@@jedcavenesantos8255 Nope. I already have a program.
@@geraldinefields1730 Good to hear.
I always say that cooking is like art, but baking is like chemistry!
Oh Wow!!! Shut the front door!!! My Mom was the Queen of peanut butter no bake cookies. đ†Making these ASAP đ
Debby Longenecker I was too! Got my poor son addicted to these! Will be making keto version for him
My fiancĂ© loves when I make yâalls recipes đ€â€ïž I have binge watched like everything because we just started keto đ
this is weird, I was trying to make my mom's 'uncooked cookies' just the other day... I used chia seeds and coconut flakes in place of the oatmeal. it was great! you guys inspire me to experiment more in the kitchen, thank you!!
Have made this twice already, I turned them into little clusters so I can have more of them throughout the week, I added hemp seeds for more protein and poppy seeds for a bit of extra crunch, the coconut flakes are absolutely heavenly in these, they are so crunchy! I'll be making them again today, one batch usually lasts me for 10 days, it's an amazing dessert! I never comment on vids but this recipe totally deserves it, you guys are awesome!
Hey KetoConnect, big fan and really love your recipes! i'm an aspiring chef that has lost 30 lbs so far on keto and really love this WOE trying to grow my youtube channel focused around keto content right now, big inspiration to share recipes with the world, thanks for everything -John
SHUUUUUT UP! I was just thinking last week of how to make these. One of my favorite cookies.
SAME! It was meant to be!!
Amber Brudi shuuuut upđđđđ
Totally! It was something I thought I'd have to miss! Maybe not now! Yay
Why do people add erythitol and stevia? If both are sweeteners why not add just one?
Eben Noble sorry I know this is a bit late. But both erythritol and stevia are known to be bitter and cause some headaches and/or stomach problems. People mix them because when they mix it, they cancel each other out. I know it doesnât make sense. But a lot of people enjoy the combo to help with the aftertastes
Yea, this is a favorite. Even my granddaughter loves it and she doesn't care for keto items in my kitchen.
Make it even better....use a Dutch processed cocoa powder!
Haystacks!!! I love these, oh baby. When I made them I didnât have nuts, but the coconut shreds are nice and crunchy anyway. I also made half of them with cocoa powder đ©
I made some last night, didn't have erythritol or coconut flakes, but used crushed macadamia, Walnuts, Brazil & pecans. Really nice thanks. đđ
Scripter Man Hey so are you saying that you made your own peanut butter out of all those nuts
@@roxanneosburn584 no still used peanut butter, but added different nuts, very filling and moreish đ
Made these tonight. My wife and I are both on keto. She said its probably the best treat she's eaten and not just keto treats.
'Not so pretty' (reason why one name for them is cow patties) but boy are they good! Thanks for the recipe. Great for hot summer days or when you just want to whip something up quickly.
I am thinking raw hemp hearts in place of oatmeal instead of pecans.
OMG. Have eaten the oatmeal variety my whole life. LOVE LOVE LOVE. Also have made with the coconut flakes as "fat bombs" I put mine into little tiny muffin papers and keep them in a clear view egg carton. Such a yummy treat.
I made these and I have to say that they were the easiest and BEST keto cookies I've made so far. I tried many. I only used 1 tbsp of cacao instead of 2 as I prefer milk chocolate above dark. I also put in 1 tbsp of coconut oil for brain knowing they would be kept in refrigerator. Perfect !!! đ Thank you thank you sooo much for posting this recipe for us Keto ppl.
These are amazing! I made them with Nuttzo Power Fuel Crunchy - it's a 7 seed nut butter
Going to get some peanut butter and coconut. Making these tonight! Thanks you two đ.
Ahhhh!!! My mom used to make the originals: full stick of butter, 1 cup of peanut butter, 2 tbs coco powder, 2 or 3 (canât remember exactly) 3 cups of oat meal, 1 tsp vanilla extract. She called them bandits because my brother and I would steal them before she was done putting them on the wax paper. Have to try the keto version now!
Sunflower butter and hemp hearts. Nut free
This is very easy to make. I was tired of eating tree nuts, seeds and peanut butter but when I combine them, it's a game change. Thank you for sharing the recipe.
I did these with almond butter. Omg they are to die for. New favorite for sure. Thank you!!
Awesome recipe. I omitted the coco and use crushed macadamias, it still bonds and they are delicious.
I'm getting my children (8 & 10) on a keto-ish / paleo (they still have the odd spud) and this will be EPIC for them, THANK YOU! And Matt, looking sharp in the nice shirt (great pick Megha :) )
I made these and put pumpkin seeds and flax seeds in them and they were the bomb!!!!
This is a classic I always return to this recipe when Iâm ready to go all in on my keto especially when I fall off. I need sweets
Hands down my most favorite childhood cookie.
Iâm from Michigan, and no bake cookies were definitely a favorite growing up. We would go to a family party and someone always brought them lol! Canât wait to try this version! Thanks!
I'm really excited to try these. Brings me back to my childhood and. adulthood too!
Wife doesnt like ANY kind of nut so I use PUMPKIN SEEDS and as a binder in place of the oats I use either ground FLAX or HEMP HEARTS.
Cool Ridge Creations hemp hearts are delicious and taste like hazel nuts!!
Cool Ridge Creations hemp hearts are delicious and taste like hazel nuts!!
You saved my life with these snacks. Thank you so very much. Great video!
Yum yum. Try with hemp hearts. Made some like this last week
Donna Eisloeffel I wondered if that would work.
Janarae18 I made then with hemp hearts. I really like them. Use sunflower butter instead of peanut butter and they would be nut free and lower carb
Love this! Accessible ingredients and straightforward recipe. Thanks!
I'm going to use tahini and sesame seeds .....will kinda be like "halva".
@ryouko misato lol and I'm Italian american...I don't put coconut
I put 4 tbl spoons ground walnuts and my cousin loved it and didn't realize it was keto ....actually I just made a different recipe
1/3 tahini.....4tbl walnuts ground or chopped....1/2 tbls unsweetened
cocoa .....1tbls butter... 1/4 teaspoon vanilla......
1tbl erythritol ...and a (packet)sprinkle some monkfruit (to taste)
We called them New Market cookies. That was tge name of the elementary school we went to. They served them for lunch. I just finished the ladt of the version I found this morning. Going to try your recipe. It looks more authentic than the one I already tried.
*Using toasted pumpkin seeds is delicious, too. Beware of sleep issues if eating these after 6PM.* đđđđđđđđđđđđ
I dont understand
Caffeine in cocoa
@@auntyuber5127 oh...Thx I didn't think of that...probably because it doesn't effect me.
I had a Yiddish grandmother. Same principal
You could also caramelize the butter with allulose sugar and make gooey yummy pecan turtles!!!
Not fair to mention these and not give up the recipe....I am not a big chocolate fan.
I was looking for this recipe everywhere, you guys are just in time
Me too! Gave up last week. But now my email and yay!
Thank you for this recipe, it's a great chocolate fix. I have a huge sweet tooth so anything that I can cut out the sugar is fantastic!

Wow! Just saw the breakdown on your website. Thatâs a lot of calories per serving, but the macros look good.
Oh man! I love this! I do like coconut too. I have seen old ladies bake biscuits without measuring, but they have been baking them for
50 yrs! đ”+đȘ=Yummy!
And to cindydez;
Almond Joys?
YES! YES! YES!
can you do a review on mission "carb counter" tortillas ??
Just made this, substitued peanut butter with coconut butter/puree. OMg, so good. Loved these, so chocolatey, so crunchy, so coconutty :-).
Delicious!! I was missing these cookies from my childhood.
Beautiful cookies. I had nuts at home so I used that but with pecan is even nicer. I also used erithrit as it is -not in powder form- and it was perfectly fine as there is the coconut and chopped nuts bits in it already giving it a crunchy texture. :)
I donât have pecans, but I do have walnuts (and prefer them most of the time anyway) - canât wait to make these! We called them preacher cookies growing up, but I honestly have no idea why.
Used to love the non-Keto version of these so will give em a try
The most beautiful recipe delicious ,easy &simple thanks a lot God bless đđđ
I made these in college but NO PNUT BUTTER!!!! I need THAT recipe again!!!
Use his recipe but mix your coco powder with some butter
I used hemp seeds instead of pecans to make it nut free and it was great!
What can we substitute for the erthitol and how much?
The type with oatmeal are called RAGGITY ROBINS. The very 1st recipe in Home Economics in 7th grade for me. My favorite cookie to this day. I'll try this version, but it can't beat a childhood memory of the "REAL DEAL"
Can you please do a Magic Spoon Cereal review?
Iâm getting bombarded with their ads constantly and I want cereal now. Lol
Can I use stevia powder for sweetener? I have all other ingredients except erythritol
Cajun Vegan Thatâs was my question too đđ
I uae flax seed instead od oatmeal, cocont oil instead of oils, heavy cream instead of milk
Actual baking IS a science - assuming you want the exact same results as the recipe. However this isn't baking, it's more like candy making. Looks yummy!
Bakers confectionary and sugar confectionary are both exact science with percise measurements, temperatures, timing etc. Although the more you do something the better you can 'eyeball it', which is probably why grandmothers rule the kitchen lol
You should make one with peanut coconut peanut butter mixture without the cocoa and cover it in chocolate
I've made a similar version of these before without measurements - this one looks better thanks for another one!
Just bought the cook book!! Soo happy to have you two !!
You are way sexier than an Italian grandmother. Way!! Thanks for this recipe bro. Love you both!!!! Canât wait for Keto Jr!!!
Hey guys!!! These look delicious! Great Video! So excited for your growing family!
Thank you so much Matt and megha for this wonderful recipe can't wait to try it you just made my day!
That's the way I cook....and my mom cooked...eyeball it. works for me. I am trying to help my granddaughter cook and she likes the way I cook and wants recipes...LOL!
Thank you! Mine are in the freezer right now đ I had toasted coconut flakes left over from another recipe so I used those. Can't wait for tea time!
Totally been lookign for one of these. Our family use to always make them too. My Mother always used coconut in ours. We had oats too. I had been thinking of trying to convert the recipe if I could. I just loved those things so much. :)
Dammnnnnn! I thought I invented these!! đđđ
These SAVE me when I have crave-y moments!
These have been my sons favorite cookies for years!! Iâm gonna try it with the coconut and pecans next time!! Yum
I'm not an old Italian grandmother I'm a middle-aged grandma and I'm not Italian and I don't measure either LOL I just pour it in until the universe says that's it you're good
Might melt 1/2 block of Bakers unsweetened chocolate, add 1 teaspoon melted Smart Balance purple tub butter substitute, stevia to taste and tablespoon melted chocolate ontop of refrigerator cookies, and it will make hard glaze and more chocolate flavor. Have modified batter and tried cookie batter with 1 Tablespoon of Muscle Milk Whey protein powder and 1 1/2 tablespoons quick oats flash toasted in lightly oiled fry pan to make it like a homemade protein bar.
I add hemp hearts.. totally feels like oatmeal!!!
Ohhh & I toast the coconut 1st for a great crunch!!!!
I love this thank you going to try it with almond butter
I made these last night. They are delicious! Thanks guys!
Delicious!! Keep in freezer for a treat when you're craving chocolate.
Wow! Great idea for a recipe! Quick and most keto peeps have these ingredients already on hand. Thanks!!!
1/2 teaspoon of vanilla from my $800 bottle. Got it đ
That looked like imitation vanilla though? So super cheap lol
Make your own and save $780.00
Could one use a little bit of sproud unsweetened pea milk with the cocoa powder so it isn't so rich in dark chocolate? Imagine using Almond butter & chopped Almonds đ. I really enjoy your videos. Thank you for sharing đ
Day 3 on keto. Feel good. I'm craving something but idk what it is. It's not bread and it's not sugar. Maybe it's an apple. Oh well. Also. My carb total a day should be 30 but I try not to go over 20.
Chris
How are you doing?
@@Adentalgrl still on keto. Haven't cheated. Lost 34 pounds so far!
Chris
Awesome! Congratulations!
After video I went in and made......canât wait to try.....put a couple in freezer & rest in ref. Counting down! Thanks!
I think they are called Hay Stacks when made with coconut, sooo yummy!
Actually haystacks involve butterscotch morsels and chow mein noodles.
Hemp hearts make these taste way more like the old school no bake cookies. I leave out the chopped nuts and add hemp hearts instead. Hemp hearts, coconut, peanut butter and cocoa/cacao, sweetener to taste and some salt if it needs it.
Yum! I will definitely try these and yes, I'll experiment with various ingredients--TY!
I just love watching your videos. You guys make me laugh. I enjoy your recipes and definitely will be making these cookies. Looks so easy to make.
You guys got me hooked on that fix and fogg chocolate peanut butter! I mix it with some almonds and fresh raspberries. Makes for a great treat after dinner
Ok so Iâm gonna sound dim and spell it wrong but what is arithrotol??? Not sure if itâs a lost in translation thing cos Iâm British, but Iâve never heard of it. Thanks
most cooks can eyeball the measures after they've done a fee times..
like bartending....all about the count and the eyeballs....looks goodâ€
I do peanut butter, butter, and seeds, with cocoa powder sweetener, etc. Making it more cookie like would be nice.
